1 Chronicles 9
1 All of the people of Israel were recorded in the genealogies written down in the book of the kings of Israel. The people of Judah were taken away to captivity in Babylon because they had been unfaithful.
यसरी सरा इस्राएलको वंशाक्रमको लेख राखियो । ती इस्राएलका राजाहरूका पुस्तकमा लेखिए । यहूदाचाहिं आफ्नो पापले गर्दा कैद गरेर बेबिलोनमा लगियो ।
2 The first to return and reclaim their property and live in their towns were some Israelites, priests, Levities, and Temple servants.
सहरहरूमा सबैभन्दा पहिले बसोबास गर्नेचाहिं कोही इस्राएलीहरू, पुजारीहरू, लेवीहरू र मन्दिरका सेवकहरू थिए ।
3 Some from the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh returned to live in Jerusalem. They included:
यहूदा, बेन्यामीनी, एफ्राइम र मनश्शेका केही सन्तानहरू यरूशलेममा बसोबास गरे ।
4 Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, a descendant of Perez, son of Judah.
बसोबास गर्नेहरूमा अम्मीहूदका छोरा उतै, जो ओम्रीका छोरा, जो इम्रीका छोरा, जो बानीका छोरा, जो यहूदाका छोरा फारेसका सन्तानमध्ये एक जना थिए ।
5 From the Shilonites: Asaiah (firstborn) and his sons.
शीलोनीहरूमा जेठा छोरा असायाह र तिनका छोराहरू थिए ।
6 From the Zerahites: Jeuel and relatives totaled 690.
जेरहाका सन्तानहरूमा यीएल पनि थिए । तिनीहरूका सन्तानहरूको संख्या ६९० थियो ।
7 From the Benjamites: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah;
बेन्यामीनका सन्तानहरूमा मशुल्लामका छोरा सल्लु, जो होदबियाका छोरा, जो हस्सेनूअका छोरा थिए ।
8 Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, son of Micri; and Meshullam son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah.
यरोहामका छोरा यिब्नियाह; उज्जीका छोरा एलाह, जो मिक्रीका छोरा थिए, अनि मशुल्लाम, जो शपत्याहका छोरा, जो रूएलका छोरा, जो यिबनियाका छोरा थिए ।
9 All of them were family heads as recorded in their genealogies, and they totaled 956.
वंशावक्रमको सूचीमा लेखिएका तिनीहरूका आफन्तहरूको सङ्ख्या ९५६ जना थिए । यी सबै मानिसहरू आ-आफ्ना पिताका घरानाहरूका निम्ति मुखियाहरू थिए ।
10 From the priests: Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, Jakin,
यदायाह, यहोयारीब, र याकीन पुजारीहरू थिए ।
11 Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub. (Azariah was the head official in charge of the house of God.)
हिल्कियाहका छोरा अजर्याह, जो मशुल्लामका छोरा, जो सादोकका छोरा, जो मरायोतका छोरा, जो अहीतूबका छोरा, जसले परमेश्वरको मन्दिरको जिम्मेवारी पाएका थिए ।
12 Also Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malkijah, and Maasai son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer.
अदायाह, जो यरोहामका छोरा, जो पशहूरका छोरा, जो मल्कियाहका छोरा थिए । अनि मासै, जो अदीएलका छोरा, जो यहजेराका छोरा, जो मशुल्लामका छोरा, जो मशिलेमीतका छोरा, जो इम्मेरका छोरा थिए ।
13 The priests, who were family heads, totaled 1,760. They were strong and capable men who served in the house of God.
आफ्ना पिताका घरका मुखियाहरू भएका तिनीहरूका आफन्तहरू १,७६० जना थिए । तिनीहरू परमेश्वरका भवनको सेवासम्बन्धी काम गर्नलाई योग्यका मानिसहरू थिए ।
14 From the Levites: Shemaiah, son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, a descendant of Merari;
लेवीहरूमा शमायाह, जो हश्शूबका छोरा, जो अज्रीकामका छोरा, जो हशब्याहका छोरा, जो मरारीका सन्तानमध्येका थिए ।
15 Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal, and Mattaniah, son of Mica, son of Zicri, son of Asaph;
बक्बक्कर, हारेश, गालाल अनि मत्तन्याह, जो मीकाका छोरा जो जिक्रीका छोरा, जो आसापका छोरा पनि थिए ।
16 Obadiah son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun; and Berekiah son of Asa, son of Elkanah, who used to live in the villages of the Netophathites.
अनि ओबदिया, जो शमायाहका छोरा, जो गालालका छोरा, जो यदूतूनका छोरा थिए । अनि बेरेक्याह, जो आसाका छोरा, जो एल्कानाका छोरा जो नतोपातीहरूका गाउँहरूमा बस्थे ।
17 The gatekeepers of the Temple: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their relatives. Shallum was the chief gatekeeper.
शल्लूम, अक्कूब, तल्मोन, अहीमन र तिनीहरूका भाइहरू ढोकेहरू थिए । तिनीहरूका अगुवा शल्लूम थिए ।
18 They had the responsibility up until now of looking after the King's Gate on the east side. They were the gatekeepers of the camps of the Levites.
यस अगि तिनीहरू लेवीका सन्तानहरूका छाउनीका निम्ति राजाको पूर्वपट्टिको मूल ढोकामा रक्षकहरू थिए । तिनीहरू लेवीहरूको छाउनीका द्वारपालहरू थिए ।
19 Shallum was the son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah. He and his relatives, the Korahites, were responsible for guarding the entrances to the sanctuary in the same way their fathers had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the tented house of the Lord.
शल्लूम, जो कोरेका छोरा, जो एब्यासापका छोरा, जो कोरहका छोरा थिए, र तिनका पिताका घरानाबाट तिनका आफन्तहरू, कोरहीहरूले सुरक्षा सेवाका जिम्मेवारी पाएका थिए । तिनीहरूका पुर्खाहरूले परमप्रभुको छाउनीको सुरक्षा गरेझैं तिनीहरूले पालको ढोकाको सुरक्षा गरे, र तिनीहरूले प्रवेशद्वारको पनि सुरक्षा गरे ।
20 Previously Phinehas son of Eleazar had been the leader of the gatekeepers. The Lord was with him.
पहिले एलाजारका छोरा पीनहास तिनीहरूका निरीक्षक थिए, र परमप्रभु तिनीसँग हुनुहुन्थ्यो ।
21 Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
मेशेलेम्याहका छोरा जकरिया मन्दिरको प्रवेशद्वार, “भेट हुने पाल” का रक्षक थिए ।
22 In total there were 212 chosen to be gatekeepers at the entrances. They recorded their genealogies in their home towns. David and Samuel the prophet had selected their forefathers for their faithfulness.
प्रवेशद्वारका रक्षक हुनलाई चुनिएका सबै जनाको संख्या २१२ थियो । तिनीहरूका नाउँहरू आ-आफ्ना गाउँका मानिसहरूको सूचीमा लेखिएका थिए । दाऊद र दर्शी शमूएलले तिनीहरूलाई आफ्नो भरोसाको ओहदाहरूमा नियुक्ति गरेका थिए ।
23 They and their descendants were responsible for guarding the entrance to the house of the Lord, also when it was a tent.
यसैले तिनीहरू र तिनीहरूका सन्तानले परमप्रभुको भवन अर्थात् भेट हुने पालको मूल ढोकाहरूको सुरक्षा गरे ।
24 The gatekeepers were placed on four sides: east, west, north, and south.
ती ढोकाका सुरक्षा गर्नेहरूलाई पूर्व, पश्चिम, उत्तर, दक्षिण, चारैतिर राखिएको थियो ।
25 Their relatives in their towns came every seven days at certain times to help them.
आफ्ना गाउँहरूमा बस्ने तिनीहरूका दाजुभाइ एक पल्टमा सात दिनका लागि पालैपालो आउँथे ।
26 The four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were given the responsibility of looking after the rooms and treasuries in the house of God.
तर ढोकाका सुरक्षा गर्नेमध्येका चार जना लेवी अगुवाहरूलाई परमेश्वरको मन्दिरमा भएका कोठाहरू र भण्डारहरूका सुरक्षा गर्ने जिम्मेवारी दिइयो ।
27 They spent the night around the house of God because they had to guard it and they had the key to unlock it in the morning.
तिनीहरू परमेश्वरको भवनमा आ-आफ्ना जिम्मेवारीको ठाउँमा नै रात बिताउँथे, किनकी त्यसको सुरक्षा गर्नु तिनीहरूको जिम्मेवारी थियो । तिनीहरूले हरेक बिहान त्यसलाई खोल्थे ।
28 Some of the gatekeepers were responsible for the articles that were used in worship services. They counted what was brought in and what was taken out.
तिमध्ये कोहीले मन्दिरका सामानहरूको जिम्मेवार थिए । सरसामान भित्र ल्याउँदा र बाहिर लैजाँदा तिनीहरूले ति गणना गर्थे ।
29 Others were given the job of looking after the furniture and equipment used in the sanctuary, as well as the special flour, wine, olive oil, incense, and spices.
तिमध्ये कोहीचाहिं पवित्र सामानहरू, अन्य सामानहरू र पीठो, दाखमद्य, तेल, धूप र मसलाजस्ता सामानका रेखदेख गर्न खटिइएका थिए ।
30 (However, some of the priests were in charge of mixing the spices.)
पुजारीहरूका छोराहरूमध्ये कसैले मसला मिसाउँथे ।
31 Mattithiah, a Levite, who was the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was given the responsibility of baking the bread used in offerings.
कोरही शल्लूमका जेठा छोरा लेवी मत्तित्याहको भेटीका रोटीहरू तयार गर्ने कामका निरीक्षक थिए ।
32 Other Kohathites were in charge of preparing the bread set out on the table every Sabbath.
तिनीहरूका दाजुभाइहरूमध्ये कोही, कोहातीहरूका सन्तानहरू, हरेक शबाथ-दिनमा उपस्थितिका रोटीहरू तयार पार्ने कामका निरीक्षकहरू थिए ।
33 The musicians, heads of Levite families, lived in the rooms in the Temple and were not required to carry out other duties because they were on duty day and night.
गायकहरू र लेवीहरूका पिताका घरानाका मुखियाहरू आ-आफ्ना कामहरू नभएका बेलामा मन्दिरका कोठाहरूमा बस्थे, किनभने तिनीहरूले दिन-रात तिनीहरूलाई सुम्पिएको काम गर्नुपर्थ्यो ।
34 These were all heads of Levite families, leaders as recorded in their genealogies, and they lived in Jerusalem.
ती सबै जना आफ्ना वंशाक्रमको सूचीमा लेखिएका लेवी घरानाका मुख्य मानिसहरू थिए । तिनीहरू यरूशलेममा बस्थे ।
35 Jeiel was the father of Gibeon and he lived in Gibeon. His wife's name was Maacah.
गिबोनका पिता यीएल गिबोनमा बस्थे, जसकी पत्नीको नाउँ माका थियो ।
36 His firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
तिनका जेठा छोरा अब्दोन, अनि तिनका छोराहरू सूर, कीश, बाल, नेर, नादाब,
37 Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.
गदोर, अहियो, जकरिया र मिक्लोत थिए ।
38 Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They also lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
मिक्लोत शिमामका पिता थिए । तिनीहरू पनि यरूशलेममा आफ्ना दाजुभाइको नजिकै बस्थे ।
39 Ner was the father of Kish, Kish was the father of Saul, and Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.
नेर कीशका पिता थिए । कीश शाऊलका पिता थिए । शाऊल जोनाथन, मल्कीशूअ, अबीनादाब र एश्बालका पिता थिए ।
40 The son of Jonathan: Merib-Baal, who was the father of Micah.
जोनाथनका छोरा मरीब्बाल थिए । मरीब्बाल मीकाका पिता थिए ।
41 The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.
मीकाका छोराहरू पीतोन, मेलेक, तहरै र आहाज थिए ।
42 Ahaz was the father of Jadah, Jadah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza.
आहाज यादाहका पिता थिए । यादाह आलेमेत, अज्मावेत र जिम्रीका पिता थिए । जिम्री मोसका पिता थिए ।
43 Moza was the father of Binea; Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.
मोस बेनेका पिता थिए । बेने रपायाहका पिता थिए । रपायाह एलासाका पिता थिए । एलासा आसेलका पिता थिए ।
44 Azel had six sons. Their names were: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
आसेलका छ जना छोराहरू अज्रीकाम, बोकरू, इश्माएल, शार्याह, ओबदिया र हानान थिए । यी सबै आसेलका छोराहरू थिए ।
