1 Chronicles 9
1 All of the people of Israel were recorded in the genealogies written down in the book of the kings of Israel. The people of Judah were taken away to captivity in Babylon because they had been unfaithful.
イスラエルの人は皆名簿に記載られたり視よ是は皆イスラエルの列王紀に録さるユダはその罪のためにバビロンに擄へられてゆけり
2 The first to return and reclaim their property and live in their towns were some Israelites, priests, Levities, and Temple servants.
その產業の邑々に最初に住ひし者にイスラエル人 祭司等レビ人およびネテニ人等なり
3 Some from the tribes of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh returned to live in Jerusalem. They included:
またヱルサレムにはユダの子孫ベニヤミンの子孫およびエフライムとマナセの子孫等住り
4 Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, a descendant of Perez, son of Judah.
即ちユダの子ペレヅの子孫の中にてはアミホデの子ウタイ、アミホデはオムリの子 オムリはイムリの子イムリはバニの子なり
5 From the Shilonites: Asaiah (firstborn) and his sons.
シロ族の中にてはシロの長子アサヤおよびその他の子等
6 From the Zerahites: Jeuel and relatives totaled 690.
ゼラの子孫の中にてはユエルおよびその兄弟六百九十人
7 From the Benjamites: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah;
ベニヤミンの子孫の中にてけハセヌアの子ハダヤの子なるメシユラムの子サル
8 Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, son of Micri; and Meshullam son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah.
ヱロハムの子イブニヤ、ミクリの子なるウジの子エラおよびイブニヤの子リウエルの子なるシパテヤの子メシユラム
9 All of them were family heads as recorded in their genealogies, and they totaled 956.
並に彼らの兄弟等その世系によれば合せて九百五十六人是みなその宗家の長たる人々なり
10 From the priests: Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, Jakin,
また祭司の中にてはヱダヤ、ヨアリブ、ヤキン
11 Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub. (Azariah was the head official in charge of the house of God.)
およびヒルキヤの子アザリヤ、ヒルキヤはメシユラムの子 メシユラムはザドクの子 ザドクはメラヨテの子 メラヨテはアヒトブの子なり アザリヤは神の室の宰たり
12 Also Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malkijah, and Maasai son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer.
またヱロハムの子アダヤ、ヱロハムはバシユルの子 バシユルはマルキヤの子なり またアデエルの子マアセヤ、アデエルはヤゼラの子 ヤゼラはメシユラムの子 メシユラムはメシレモテの子 メシレモテはインメルの子なり
13 The priests, who were family heads, totaled 1,760. They were strong and capable men who served in the house of God.
また彼らの兄弟等是等は宗家の長たる者にして合せて一千七百六十人あり皆神の室の奉事をなすの力あるものなり
14 From the Levites: Shemaiah, son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, a descendant of Merari;
レビ人の中にてはハシユブの子シマヤ、ハシユブはアズリカムの子 アズリカムはハシヤビヤの子 是はメラリの子孫なり
15 Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal, and Mattaniah, son of Mica, son of Zicri, son of Asaph;
またバクバツカル、ヘレシ、ガラルおよびアサフの子ジクリの子なるミカの子マツタニヤ
16 Obadiah son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun; and Berekiah son of Asa, son of Elkanah, who used to live in the villages of the Netophathites.
ならびにヱドトンの子ガラルの子なるシマヤの子オバデヤおよびエルカナの子なるアサの子ベレキヤ、エルカナはネトバ人の郷里に住たる者なり
17 The gatekeepers of the Temple: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their relatives. Shallum was the chief gatekeeper.
門を守る者はシヤルム、アツクブ、タルモン、アヒマンおよびその兄弟等にしてシヤレムその長たり
18 They had the responsibility up until now of looking after the King's Gate on the east side. They were the gatekeepers of the camps of the Levites.
彼は今日まで東の方なる王の門を守りをる是等はレビの子孫の營の門を守る者なり
19 Shallum was the son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah. He and his relatives, the Korahites, were responsible for guarding the entrances to the sanctuary in the same way their fathers had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the tented house of the Lord.
コラの子エビアサフの子なるコレの子シヤルムおよびその父の家の兄弟等などのコラ人は幕屋の門々を守る職務を主どれりその先祖等はヱホバの營の傍にありてその入口を守れり
20 Previously Phinehas son of Eleazar had been the leader of the gatekeepers. The Lord was with him.
エレアザルの子ピネハス昔彼らの主宰たりきヱホバ彼とともに在せり
21 Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
メシレミヤの子ゼカリヤは集會の幕屋の門を守る者なりき
22 In total there were 212 chosen to be gatekeepers at the entrances. They recorded their genealogies in their home towns. David and Samuel the prophet had selected their forefathers for their faithfulness.
是みな選ばれて門を守る者にて合せて二百十二人ありき皆その村々の名簿に記載たる者なりしがダビデと先見者サムエルこれをその職に任じたり
23 They and their descendants were responsible for guarding the entrance to the house of the Lord, also when it was a tent.
彼等とその子孫は順番にヱホバの室すなはち幕屋の門を司どれり
24 The gatekeepers were placed on four sides: east, west, north, and south.
門を守る者は西東北南の四方に居り
25 Their relatives in their towns came every seven days at certain times to help them.
またその村々に居る兄弟等は七日ごとに迭り來りて彼らを助けたり
26 The four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were given the responsibility of looking after the rooms and treasuries in the house of God.
門を守る者の長たるこの四人のレビ人はその職にをりて神の室の諸の室と府庫とを司どれり
27 They spent the night around the house of God because they had to guard it and they had the key to unlock it in the morning.
彼らは番守をなす身なるに因て神の室の四周に舎れり而して朝ごとにこれを開くことをせり
28 Some of the gatekeepers were responsible for the articles that were used in worship services. They counted what was brought in and what was taken out.
その中に奉事の器皿を司どる者あり是はその數を按べて携へいりそり數を按べて携へいだすべき者なり
29 Others were given the job of looking after the furniture and equipment used in the sanctuary, as well as the special flour, wine, olive oil, incense, and spices.
またその他の器皿すなはち聖所の一切の器皿および麥粉 酒 油 乳香 香料を司どる者あり
30 (However, some of the priests were in charge of mixing the spices.)
また祭司の徒の中に香料をもて香膏を製る者あり
31 Mattithiah, a Levite, who was the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was given the responsibility of baking the bread used in offerings.
コラ人シヤルムの長子なるマツタテヤといふレビ人は鍋にて製るところの物を司どれり
32 Other Kohathites were in charge of preparing the bread set out on the table every Sabbath.
またコハテ人の子孫たるその兄弟等の中に供前のパンを司どりて安息日ごとにこれを調ふる者等あり
33 The musicians, heads of Levite families, lived in the rooms in the Temple and were not required to carry out other duties because they were on duty day and night.
レビ人の宗家の長たる是等の者は謳歌師にして殿の諸の室に居て他の職を爲ざりき其は日夜その職務にかかりをればなり
34 These were all heads of Levite families, leaders as recorded in their genealogies, and they lived in Jerusalem.
是等はレビ人の歴代の宗家の長にして首長たる者なり是等はヱルサレムに住り
35 Jeiel was the father of Gibeon and he lived in Gibeon. His wife's name was Maacah.
ギベオンの祖ヱヒエルはギベオンに住りその妻の名はマアカといふ
36 His firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
その長子はアブドン次はツル、キシ、バアル、ネル、ナダブ
37 Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.
ゲドル、アヒオ、ゼカリヤ、ミクロテ
38 Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They also lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
ミクロテ、シメアムを生り彼等もその兄弟等とともにヱルサレムに住てその兄弟等と相對ひ居り
39 Ner was the father of Kish, Kish was the father of Saul, and Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.
ネルはキシを生み キシはサウルを生み サウルはヨナタン、マルキシユア、アビナダブおよびエシバアタを生り
40 The son of Jonathan: Merib-Baal, who was the father of Micah.
ヨナタンの子はメリバアル、メリバアル、ミカを生り
41 The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.
ミカの子等はピトン、メレク、タレアおよびアハズ
42 Ahaz was the father of Jadah, Jadah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza.
アハズはヤラを生み ヤラはアレメテ、アズマウテおよびジムリを生み ジムリはモザを生み
43 Moza was the father of Binea; Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.
モザはピネアを生り ピネアの子はレバヤ その子はエレアサ その子はアゼル
44 Azel had six sons. Their names were: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
アゼルは六人の子ありきその名は左のごとしアズリカム、ボケル、イシマエル、シヤリヤ、オバデヤ、ハナン是等はアゼルの子なり
