1 Chronicles 24
1 The sons of Aaron were placed in divisions as follows. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Também os filhos de Arão tiveram suas repartições. Os filhos de Arão: Nadabe, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did, and they had no sons. Only Eleazar and Ithamar carried on as priests.
Mas Nadabe, e Abiú morreram antes que seu pai, e não tiveram filhos: Eleazar e Itamar tiveram o sacerdócio.
3 With the help of Zadok, a descendant of Eleazar, and Ithamar, a descendant Ahimelech, David placed them in divisions according to their appointed duties.
E Davi os repartiu, sendo Zadoque dos filhos de Eleazar, e Aimeleque dos filhos de Itamar, por seus turnos em seu ministério.
4 Because Eleazar's descendants had more leaders than those of Ithamar, they were divided like this: sixteen family leaders from the descendants of Eleazar, and eight from the descendants of Ithamar.
E os filhos de Eleazar foram achados, quanto a seus principais varões, muitos mais que os filhos de Itamar; e repartiram-nos assim: Dos filhos de Eleazar havia dezesseis cabeças de famílias paternas; e dos filhos de Itamar pelas famílias de seus pais, oito.
5 They were divided by casting lots, without preference, for there were officers of the sanctuary and officers of God from both the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar.
Repartiram-nos, pois, por sorte os uns com os outros: porque dos filhos de Eleazar e dos filhos de Itamar havia príncipes do santuário, e príncipes da casa de Deus.
6 Shemaiah son of Nethanel, a Levite, was the secretary. He wrote down the names and assignments in the presence of the king, the officials, Zadok the priest, Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the family leaders of the priests and Levites. One family from Eleazar and one from Ithamar were chosen in turn.
E Semaías escriba, filho de Natanael, dos levitas, escreveu-os diante do rei e dos príncipes, e diante de Zadoque o sacerdote, e de Aimeleque filho de Abiatar, e dos príncipes das famílias dos sacerdotes e levitas; e inscreviam uma família a Eleazar, e a Itamar outra.
7 The first lot fell to Jehoiarib. The second to Jedaiah.
E a primeira sorte saiu por Jeoiaribe, a segunda por Jedaías;
8 The third to Harim. The fourth to Seorim.
A terceira por Harim, a quarta por Seorim;
9 The fifth to Malkijah. The sixth to Mijamin.
A quinta por Malquias, a sexta por Miamim;
10 The seventh to Hakkoz. The eighth to Abijah.
A sétiam por Coz, a oitava por Abias;
11 The ninth to Jeshua. The tenth to Shecaniah.
A nona por Jesua, a décima por Secanias;
12 The eleventh to Eliashib. The twelfth to Jakim.
A décima primeira por Eliasibe, a décima segunda por Jaquim;
13 The thirteenth to Huppah. The fourteenth to Jeshebeab.
A décima terceira por Hupá, a décima quarta por Jesebeabe;
14 The fifteenth to Bilgah. The sixteenth to Immer.

15 The seventeenth to Hezir. The eighteenth to Happizzez.

16 The nineteenth to Pethahiah. The twentieth to Jehezkel.

17 The twenty-first to Jakin. The twenty-second to Gamul.

18 The twenty-third to Delaiah. The twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
A vigésima terceira por Delaías, a vigésima quarta por Maazias.
19 This was the order in which each group were to serve when they came into the house of the Lord, following the procedure defined for them by their forefather Aaron, as instructed by the Lord, the God of Israel.
Estes foram contados em seu ministério, para que entrassem na casa do SENHOR, conforme a sua ordenança, sob o mando de Arão seu pai, da maneira que lhe havia mandado o SENHOR o Deus de Israel.
20 These were the rest of the sons of Levi: from the sons of Amram: Shubael; from the sons of Shubael: Jehdeiah.
E dos filhos de Levi que restaram: Subael, dos filhos de Anrão; e dos filhos de Subael, Jedias.
21 For Rehabiah, from his sons: Isshiah (first).
E dos filhos de Reabias, Issias o principal.
22 From the Izharites: Shelomoth; from the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
Dos izaritas, Selomote; e filho de Selomote, Jaate.
23 The sons of Hebron: Jeriah (first), Amariah (second), Jahaziel (third), and Jekameam (fourth).

24 The son of Uzziel: Micah; from the sons of Micah: Shamir.

25 The brother of Micah: Isshiah; from the sons of Isshiah: Zechariah.

26 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The son of Jaaziah: Beno.

27 The sons of Merari: from Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zaccur and Ibri.

28 From Mahli: Eleazar, who did not have any sons.

29 From Kish: the son of Kish, Jerahmeel.

30 The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites, according to their families.
Os filhos de Musi: Mali, Éder e Jeremote. Estes foram os filhos dos levitas conforme às casas de suas famílias.
31 They also cast lots in the same way their relatives the descendants of Aaron did. They did this in the presence of King David, and of Zadok, Ahimelech, and the family leaders of the priests and of the Levites, the family leaders and their youngest brothers alike.
Estes também lançaram sortes, como seus irmãos os filhos de Arão, diante do rei Davi, e de Zadoque e de Aimeleque, e dos príncipes das famílias dos sacerdotes e levitas: o principal dos pais igualmente que o menor de seus irmãos.
