1 Chronicles 24
1 The sons of Aaron were placed in divisions as follows. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Die Nachkommen Aarons aber hatten auch ihre Abteilungen. Die Söhne Aarons waren Nadab, Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar.
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did, and they had no sons. Only Eleazar and Ithamar carried on as priests.
Nadab und Abihu aber starben vor ihrem Vater, ohne Söhne zu hinterlassen, und so bekleideten nur Eleasar und Ithamar das Priesteramt.
3 With the help of Zadok, a descendant of Eleazar, and Ithamar, a descendant Ahimelech, David placed them in divisions according to their appointed duties.
Und David nebst Zadok, der von den Nachkommen Eleasars war, und Ahimelech, der von den Nachkommen Ithamars war, teilten sie je nach ihrem Amt in ihren Dienst ein.
4 Because Eleazar's descendants had more leaders than those of Ithamar, they were divided like this: sixteen family leaders from the descendants of Eleazar, and eight from the descendants of Ithamar.
Es befand sich aber, daß die Nachkommen Eleasars hinsichtlich der Geschlechtshäupter zahlreicher waren, als die Nachkommen Ithamars; daher teilte man sie so, daß auf Eleasar sechzehn, auf Ithamar acht Familienhäupter kamen.
5 They were divided by casting lots, without preference, for there were officers of the sanctuary and officers of God from both the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar.
Und zwar teilte man sie, die einen wie die anderen, durchs Los ab; denn es gab Fürsten des Heiligtums und Fürsten Gottes sowohl unter den Nachkommen Eleasars, als unter den Nachkommen Ithamars.
6 Shemaiah son of Nethanel, a Levite, was the secretary. He wrote down the names and assignments in the presence of the king, the officials, Zadok the priest, Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the family leaders of the priests and Levites. One family from Eleazar and one from Ithamar were chosen in turn.
Und Semaja, der Sohn Nethaneels, der Schreiber aus der Zahl der Leviten, schrieb sie auf in Gegenwart des Königs und der Fürsten und des Priesters Zadok und Ahimelechs, des Sohnes Abjathars, sowie der Familienhäupter der Priester und Leviten. Je eine Familie wurde von der Linie Eleasar und je eine von der Linie Ithamar ausgelost.
7 The first lot fell to Jehoiarib. The second to Jedaiah.
Das erste Los fiel auf Jojarib, das zweite auf Jedaja,
8 The third to Harim. The fourth to Seorim.
das dritte auf Harim, das vierte auf Seorim,
9 The fifth to Malkijah. The sixth to Mijamin.
das fünfte auf Malchia, das sechste auf Mijamin,
10 The seventh to Hakkoz. The eighth to Abijah.
das siebente auf Hakkoz, das achte auf Abia,
11 The ninth to Jeshua. The tenth to Shecaniah.
das neunte auf Jesua, das zehnte auf Sechanja,
12 The eleventh to Eliashib. The twelfth to Jakim.
das elfte auf Eljasib, das zwölfte auf Jakim,
13 The thirteenth to Huppah. The fourteenth to Jeshebeab.
das dreizehnte auf Huppa, das vierzehnte auf Jesebeab,
14 The fifteenth to Bilgah. The sixteenth to Immer.
das fünfzehnte auf Bilga, das sechzehnte auf Immer,
15 The seventeenth to Hezir. The eighteenth to Happizzez.
das siebzehnte auf Hesir, das achtzehnte auf Happizzez,
16 The nineteenth to Pethahiah. The twentieth to Jehezkel.
das neunzehnte auf Pethahja, das zwanzigste auf Jeheskel,
17 The twenty-first to Jakin. The twenty-second to Gamul.
das einundzwanzigste auf Jachin, das zweiundzwanzigste auf Gamul,
18 The twenty-third to Delaiah. The twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
das dreiundzwanzigste auf Delaja, das vierundzwanzigste auf Maasja.
19 This was the order in which each group were to serve when they came into the house of the Lord, following the procedure defined for them by their forefather Aaron, as instructed by the Lord, the God of Israel.
Das ist ihre Amtsordnung für ihren Dienst, den Tempel Jahwes zu betreten, gemäß der Vorschrift, die ihr Ahnherr Aaron für sie erlassen hatte, so wie es Jahwe, der Gott Israels ihm befohlen hatte.
20 These were the rest of the sons of Levi: from the sons of Amram: Shubael; from the sons of Shubael: Jehdeiah.
Was aber die übrigen Nachkommen Levis betrifft, so waren von den Nachkommen Amrams Subael, von den Nachkommen Subaels Jehdeja,
21 For Rehabiah, from his sons: Isshiah (first).
von den Nachkommen Rehabjas das Oberhaupt Jissia,
22 From the Izharites: Shelomoth; from the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
von den Jizharitern Selomoth, von den Nachkommen Selomoths Jahath;
23 The sons of Hebron: Jeriah (first), Amariah (second), Jahaziel (third), and Jekameam (fourth).
von den Nachkommen Hebrons aber waren: Jeria, das Oberhaupt, Amarja, der zweite, Jahasiel, der dritte, Jekameam, der vierte.
24 The son of Uzziel: Micah; from the sons of Micah: Shamir.
Die Nachkommen Ussiels waren: Micha, von den Nachkommen Michas Samir.
25 The brother of Micah: Isshiah; from the sons of Isshiah: Zechariah.
Der Bruder Michas war Jissia; von den Nachkommen Jissias war Sacharja.
26 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The son of Jaaziah: Beno.
Die Nachkommen Meraris waren Mahli und Musi, und die Nachkommen seines Sohnes Jaasia.
27 The sons of Merari: from Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zaccur and Ibri.
Die Nachkommen Meraris von seinem Sohne Jaasia waren: Soham, Sakkur und Ibri.
28 From Mahli: Eleazar, who did not have any sons.
Von Mali war Eleasar; der hatte keine Söhne.
29 From Kish: the son of Kish, Jerahmeel.
Von Kis: Die Nachkommen Kis' waren: Jerahmeel.
30 The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites, according to their families.
Die Nachkommen Musis waren: Mahli, Eder und Jerimoth. Das sind die Nachkommen der Leviten nach ihren Familien.
31 They also cast lots in the same way their relatives the descendants of Aaron did. They did this in the presence of King David, and of Zadok, Ahimelech, and the family leaders of the priests and of the Levites, the family leaders and their youngest brothers alike.
Und auch sie warfen Lose, so gut wie ihre Stammesgenossen, die Nachkommen Aarons, in Gegenwart des Königs David und Zadoks und Ahimelechs und der Familienhäupter der Priester und Leviten, und zwar die Familienhäupter so gut wie ihre jüngeren Brüder.
