< 1 Chronicles 16 >
1 They brought the Ark of God and placed it in the tent that David had prepared for it. They presented burnt offerings and friendship offerings to God.
Wọ́n gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí Ọlọ́run, wá sínú àgọ́ ti Dafidi ti pèsè fún un, wọ́n sì gbé ẹbọ sísun àti ọrẹ ìdàpọ̀ kalẹ̀ níwájú Ọlọ́run.
2 Once David had finished presenting the burnt offerings and friendship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.
Lẹ́yìn tí Dafidi parí ẹbọ sísun àti ọrẹ ìdàpọ̀, ó bùkún àwọn ènìyàn ní orúkọ Olúwa.
3 Then he shared out to every Israelite, to every man and woman, a loaf of bread, a date cake, and a raisin cake.

4 David assigned some of the Levites to serve as ministers before the Ark of the Lord, to remember, to thank, and to praise the Lord, the God of Israel.

5 Asaph was the one in charge, Zechariah was second, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel. They played harps and lyres, and Asaph struck the cymbals,

6 and the priests Benaiah and Jahaziel blew the trumpets continually in front of the Ark of God's Agreement.

7 This was the day that David first instructed Asaph and his relatives to express thanks to the Lord in this way:

8 Give the Lord thanks, worship his wonderful nature, let people know what he's done!

9 Sing to him, sing his praises; tell everyone the great things he's done!
Ẹ kọrin sí i, ẹ kọrin ìyìn, sí i, ẹ sọ ti gbogbo iṣẹ́ ìyanu rẹ̀.
10 Be proud of his holy character; be happy, all who come to the Lord!
Ìyìn nínú orúkọ rẹ̀ mímọ́; jẹ kí ọkàn àwọn tí ó yin Olúwa kí ó yọ̀.
11 Look for the Lord, and his strength; always look to be with him.
Ẹ wá Olúwa àti agbára rẹ̀; e wá ojú rẹ̀ nígbà gbogbo.
12 Remember all the wonderful things he's done, the miracles he's performed, and the judgments he's carried out,
Rántí àwọn ìyanu tí Ó ti ṣe, iṣẹ́ ìyanu rẹ̀ àti ìdájọ́ tí Ó ti sọ.
13 descendants of Israel, children of Jacob, his chosen people.
A! ẹ̀yin ìran ọmọ Israẹli ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀, àwọn ọmọ Jakọbu, ẹ̀yin tí ó ti yàn.
14 He is the Lord, our God, his judgments cover the whole earth.

15 He remembers his agreement forever, the promise he made lasts for a thousand generations;
Ó rántí májẹ̀mú rẹ̀ láéláé, ọ̀rọ̀ tí ó pàṣẹ, fún ẹgbẹẹgbẹ̀rún ìran,
16 the agreement he made with Abraham, the vow he gave to Isaac.
májẹ̀mú tí ó dá pẹ̀lú Abrahamu, ìbúra tí ó ṣe pẹ̀lú fún Isaaki.
17 The Lord legally confirmed it with Jacob, he made this everlasting agreement with Israel:
Ó ṣe ìdánilójú u rẹ̀ fún Jakọbu, gẹ́gẹ́ bí àṣẹ sí Israẹli, gẹ́gẹ́ bi májẹ̀mú ayérayé:
18 saying, “I will give the land of Canaan to you for you to possess.”
“Sí ọ, ni èmi yóò fún ní ilẹ̀ Kenaani. Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ààyè tí ìwọ yóò jogún.”
19 He said this when there were only a few of you, just a small group of foreigners in the land.
Nígbà tí wọn kéré ní iye, wọ́n kéré gidigidi, wọ́n sì jẹ́ àlejò níbẹ̀,
20 They wandered from country to country, from one kingdom to the next.
wọ́n rìn kiri láti orílẹ̀-èdè sí orílẹ̀-èdè láti ìjọba kan sí èkejì.
21 He didn't let anyone one treat them badly; warning kings to leave them alone:
Kò gba ọkùnrin kankan láyè láti pọ́n wọn lójú; nítorí tiwọn, ó bá àwọn ọba wí.
22 “Don't touch my chosen people; don't harm my prophets!”
“Má ṣe fọwọ́ kan àwọn ẹni àmì òróró mi; má ṣe pa àwọn wòlíì mi lára.”
23 Sing to the Lord, all the earth, sing to the Lord! Each day let everyone know of his salvation!
Kọrin sí Olúwa gbogbo ayé; ẹ máa fi ìgbàlà rẹ̀ hàn láti ọjọ́ dé ọjọ́.
24 Declare his glorious acts among the nations, the wonderful things he does among all peoples.
Kéde ògo à rẹ̀ láàrín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, ohun ìyàlẹ́nu tí ó ṣe láàrín gbogbo ènìyàn.
25 For the Lord is great, and deserves the best praise! He is to be respected with awe above all gods.
Nítorí títóbi ni Olúwa òun sì ni ìyìn yẹ jùlọ; òun ni kí a bẹ̀rù ju gbogbo àwọn Ọlọ́run lọ.
26 For all the gods of other nations are idols; but the Lord made the heavens!
Nítorí gbogbo àwọn ọlọ́run orílẹ̀-èdè jẹ́ àwọn òrìṣà, ṣùgbọ́n Olúwa dá àwọn ọ̀run.
27 Splendor and majesty are his; power and glory are in his sanctuary.
Dídán àti ọláńlá ni ó wà níwájú rẹ̀; agbára àti ayọ̀ ni ó wà ní ibi ibùgbé rẹ̀.
28 Give the Lord credit, nations of the world, credit him with glory and strength.
Fi fún Olúwa, ẹ̀yin ìdílé àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, ẹ fi ògo àti ipá fún Olúwa.
29 Give the Lord the glory he deserves; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the Lord in his magnificent holiness.
Fún Olúwa ní ìyìn nítorí orúkọ rẹ̀; gbé ọrẹ kí ẹ sì wá síwájú rẹ̀. Sìn Olúwa nínú inú dídùn ìwà mímọ́ rẹ̀.
30 Let everyone on earth tremble in his presence. The world is held together firmly—it cannot be broken apart.
Wárìrì níwájú rẹ̀, gbogbo ayé! Ayé sì fi ìdí múlẹ̀; a kò sì le è ṣí i.
31 Let the heavens sing for joy, let the earth be happy. Tell the nations, “The Lord is in charge!”
Jẹ́ kí àwọn ọ̀run kí ó yọ̀, jẹ́ kí ayé kí ó ṣe inú dídùn; lẹ́ kí wọn kí ó sọ láàrín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, pé “Olúwa jẹ ọba!”
32 Let the sea and everything in it shout with praise! Let the fields and everything there celebrate;
Jẹ́ kí ọ̀run kí ó tún dún padà, àti gbogbo ohun tí ó wà nínú rẹ̀; Jẹ́ kí àwọn pápá kí ó hó fún ayọ̀, àti gbogbo ohun tí ó wà nínú rẹ̀!
33 Let all the trees in the forest sing for joy, for he is coming to judge the earth.
Nígbà náà ni igi igbó yóò kọrin, wọn yóò kọrin fún ayọ̀ níwájú Olúwa, nítorí tí ó wá láti ṣèdájọ́ ayé.
34 Say thank you to the Lord, for he is good! His trustworthy love continues forever!
Fi ọpẹ́ fún Olúwa, nítorí tí ó dára; ìfẹ́ ẹ rẹ̀ dúró títí láé.
35 Shout out, “Save us, Lord, our God! Bring us back together from among the nations, rescue us, so we can thank you and praise how magnificent and holy you are.”
Ké lóhùn rara, “Gbà wá, Ọlọ́run olùgbàlà a wa; kó wa jọ kí o sì gbà wá kúrò lọ́wọ́ àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, kí àwa kí ó lè fi ọpẹ́ fún orúkọ mímọ́ rẹ, kí àwa kí ó lè yọ̀ nínú ìyìn rẹ̀.”
36 How wonderful is the Lord, the God of Israel, who lives forever and ever! Then all the people said, “Amen!” and “Praise the Lord!”
Olùbùkún ni Olúwa, Ọlọ́run Israẹli, láé àti láéláé. Lẹ́yìn náà gbogbo àwọn ènìyàn wí pé, “Àmín,” wọ́n “Yin Olúwa.”
37 Then David made sure Asaph and his brothers would minister continually before the Ark of the Lord's Agreement, performing whatever services were needed every day,

38 as well as Obed-edom and his sixty-eight relatives. Obed-edom, son of Jeduthun, and Hosah, were gatekeepers.
Ó fi Obedi-Edomu àti méjìdínláàádọ́rin ẹlẹgbẹ́ ẹ rẹ̀ láti ṣiṣẹ́ ìránṣẹ́ pẹ̀lú wọn. Obedi-Edomu mọ Jedutuni, àti Hosa pẹ̀lú jẹ́ olùtọ́jú ẹnu-ọ̀nà.
39 David put Zadok the priest and his fellow priests in charge of the Ark of the Lord at the high place in Gibeon
Dafidi fi Sadoku àlùfáà àti àwọn àlùfáà ẹlẹgbẹ́ rẹ̀ níwájú Àgọ́ Olúwa ní ibi gíga ní Gibeoni.
40 to present burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offerings, morning and evening, according to all that was written in the law of the Lord which he had ordered Israel to follow.
Láti gbé pẹpẹ ẹbọ sísun déédé, àárọ̀ àti ìrọ̀lẹ́ ní ìbámu pẹ̀lú gbogbo ohun tí a kọ sínú òfin Olúwa, tí ó ti fún Israẹli.
41 They were accompanied by Heman, Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen and identified by name to give thanks to the Lord, for “His trustworthy love lasts forever.”

42 Heman and Jeduthun used their trumpets and cymbals to make music to accompany the songs of God. The sons of Jeduthun guarded the gate.
Hemani àti Jedutuni ni wọ́n dúró fún fífọn ìpè àti Kimbali àti fún lílo ohun èlò yòókù fún orin Ọlọ́run. Àwọn ọmọ Jedutuni wà ní ipò dídúró ní ẹnu-ọ̀nà.
43 Then all the people went home, and David went to bless his family.
Nígbà náà gbogbo àwọn ènìyàn kúrò, olúkúlùkù sí ilé rẹ̀: Dafidi yípadà láti súre fún ìdílé rẹ̀.
