< 1 Chronicles 15 >
1 Once David had finished building houses for himself in the City of David, he made a place for the Ark of God and set up a tent there.
Afei, Dawid sisii adan bebree wɔ Dawid kurom. Bio, osiesiee baabi, sii ntamadan wɔ hɔ a ɔde Onyankopɔn Apam Adaka no besi.
2 Then he gave orders: “Nobody is to carry the Ark of God except the Levites, for the Lord himself chose them to carry the Ark of the Lord and to serve him forever.”
Afei, ɔhyɛɛ se, “Sɛ yɛma Onyankopɔn Apam Adaka no so de rekɔ a, obiara nni ho kwan sɛ ɔsoa bi gye Lewifo no nko ara. Awurade ayi wɔn sɛ, wɔn nko ara na ɛsɛ sɛ wɔsoa Awurade Apam Adaka no na wɔsom wɔ nʼanim daa daa.”
3 David summoned all of Israel to Jerusalem to bring the Ark of the Lord to the place he'd prepared for it.
Dawid frɛɛ Israelfo nyinaa kɔɔ Yerusalem sɛ wɔmfa Apam Adaka no nkosi faako a wɔasiesie ama no no.
4 This is the list of the Levites, the sons of Aaron, that David called to attend:
Eyinom ne asɔfo ne Lewifo a wɔfrɛɛ wɔn no:
5 From the sons of Kohath, Uriel (chief), and 120 of his relatives;
Wɔn a wofi Kohat abusua mu no, na wɔn dodow yɛ ɔha aduonu a Uriel tua wɔn ano.
6 from the sons of Merari, Asaiah (chief), with 220 of his relatives;
Wɔn a wofi Merari abusua mu no, na wɔn dodow yɛ ahannu aduonu, a Asaia da wɔn ano.

11 Then David summoned the priests Zadok and Abiathar, and the Levites Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab.
Afei, Dawid frɛɛ asɔfo Sadok ne Abiatar ne saa Lewifo mpanyimfo yi: Uriel, Asaia, Yoel, Semaia, Eliel ne Aminadab.
12 He told them, “You are the heads of the Levite families. You must make yourselves and your relatives ceremonially clean and pure before you bring back the Ark of God, the Lord of Israel to the place I have made for it.
Ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Mo na moyɛ Lewifo mmusua mu ntuanofo. Mo ne Lewifo a wɔka mo ho nyinaa nnwira mo ho, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a mubetumi de Awurade, Israel Nyankopɔn, Apam Adaka no bɛba beae a masiesie ama no no.
13 Because you weren't there the first time to carry the Ark the Lord our God burst out in violence against us. We didn't treat it in accordance with his instructions.”
Esiane sɛ kan no mo Lewifo ansoa Apam Adaka no nti, Awurade, yɛn Nyankopɔn, abufuw sɔre tiaa yɛn. Yɛammisa Onyankopɔn ɔkwan pa a ɛsɛ sɛ yɛfa so soa.”
14 So the priests and the Levites purified themselves so that they could bring back the Ark of the Lord, the God of Israel.
Enti asɔfo no ne Lewifo no dwiraa wɔn ho, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a wobetumi de Awurade, Israel Nyankopɔn Apam Adaka no akɔ Yerusalem.
15 Then the Levites carried the Ark of God in the way that Moses had ordered, according to what God had said—on their shoulders using the special carrying poles.
Na Lewifo no soaa Onyankopɔn Apam Adaka no wɔ wɔn mmati so a, nnua a wɔde soa no hyehyɛ ho pɛpɛɛpɛ, sɛnea Mose hyɛɛ wɔn no.
16 David also instructed the leaders of the Levites to assign from their relatives singers who would sing loudly for joy, accompanied by musicians playing lyres, and harps, and cymbals.
