1 David had discussions with all his leaders, including the army commanders of thousands and hundreds.
Sai Dawuda ya tattauna da kowane ɗaya daga cikin shugabanninsa, shugabannin sojoji na dubu-dubu da na ɗari-ɗari.
2 Then he addressed the whole assembly of Israel, saying, “If you agree, and if God approves, let us send an invitation to every Israelite in the land, including the priests and Levites in their towns and pastures, to come and join us.
Sa’an nan ya ce wa dukan taron Isra’ila, “In ya yi muku kyau kuma in nufin Ubangiji Allahnmu ne, bari mu aika da saƙo nesa da kuma ko’ina zuwa ga sauran’yan’uwanmu a duk iyakokin Isra’ila, da kuma zuwa ga firistoci da Lawiyawa waɗanda suke tare da su a garuruwansu da makiyayansu, su zo wurinmu.
3 Let us bring the Ark of our God back to us, because we forgot about it during the time of Saul.”
Bari mu ɗauko akwatin alkawarin Allahnmu mu kawo wurinmu, gama ba mu neme shi a lokacin mulkin Shawulu ba.”
4 The whole assembly was pleased with the proposal, agreeing that this would be a good thing to do.
Dukan taron jama’a suka yarda su yi haka, domin ya yi daidai ga dukan mutane.
5 So David summoned all of Israel, from the Shihor River of Egypt up to Lebo-hamath, to help bring the Ark from Kiriath-jearim.
Saboda haka Dawuda ya tattara dukan Isra’ilawa, daga Kogin Shihor a Masar zuwa Lebo Hamat, don su kawo akwatin alkawarin Allah daga Kiriyat Yeyarim.
6 So David and all of Israel went to Baalah (otherwise called Kiriath-jearim) in Judah to bring back the Ark of God the Lord, whose throne is between the cherubim and who is called by the Name.
Dawuda da dukan Isra’ilawa tare da shi suka tafi Ba’ala na Yahuda (Kiriyat Yeyarim) don su haura daga can su kawo akwatin alkawarin Allah Ubangiji, wanda yake zama tsakanin kerubobi, akwatin alkawarin da ake kira da Sunan.
7 They loaded the Ark of God onto a brand new cart and brought it from Adinadab's house, with Uzzah and Ahio directing it.
Suka ɗauki akwatin alkawarin Allah daga gidan Abinadab a kan sabon keken shanu, Uzza da Ahiyo ne suke lura da shi.
8 David and all of Israel were celebrating before the Lord as loudly as possible, singing sings and playing music on lyres, harps, tambourines, cymbals, and trumpets.
Dawuda da dukan Isra’ilawa suka yi shagali da dukan ƙarfinsu a gaban Allah, tare da waƙoƙi da garayu, molaye, ganguna, kuge da ƙahoni.
9 But when they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, the oxen stumbled and Uzzah stretched out his hand to stop the Ark falling.
Sa’ad da suka kai masussukar Kidon, Uzza ya miƙa hannunsa don yă gyara akwatin alkawarin, gama shanun sun yi tuntuɓe.
10 The Lord was angry with Uzzah for daring to touch the Ark like this so he struck him down, and Uzzah died there before the Lord.
Sai fushin Ubangiji ya ƙuna a kan Uzza, ya kuma buge shi domin ya sa hannunsa a kan akwatin alkawarin. Sai ya mutu a can a gaban Allah.
11 David became angry with the Lord for his violent outburst against Uzzah. He named the place Perez-uzzah, and it is still called that today.
Ran Dawuda ya ɓace domin Ubangiji ya husata a kan Uzza, kuma har wa yau ana ce da wannan wuri Ferez Uzza.
12 David became afraid of God that day. “How can I ever bring back the Ark of God home to me?” he asked.
Dawuda ya ji tsoron Allah a wannan rana ya kuma yi tambaya, “Yaya zan taɓa kawo akwatin alkawarin Allah gare ni?”
13 So David did not move the Ark of God to be with him in the City of David. Instead, he had it taken to the home of Obed-edom the Gittite.
Don haka bai ɗauki akwatin alkawarin ya kasance tare da shi a Birnin Dawuda ba. A maimakon haka, ya kai shi gidan Obed-Edom mutumin Gat.
14 The Ark of God remained in Obed-edom's home for three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-edom's household and all that he had.
Akwatin Alkawarin Allah ya zauna tare da iyalin Obed-Edom a gidansa wata uku, Ubangiji kuwa ya albarkaci gidan Obed-Edom da kome da yake da shi.
