Romans 8
1 Now then, there is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit,
১অতএব যারা এখন খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে আছে তাদের আর কোনো শাস্তির যোগ্য অপরাধ নেই।
2 because the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of the sin and the death.
২কারণ খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে জীবনের আত্মার যে মূল তত্ত্ব, তা আমাকে পাপের ও মৃত্যুর মূল তথ্য থেকে মুক্ত করেছে।
3 Further, what the law could not do, in that it was weak due to the flesh, God has done by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned the sin in the flesh,
৩কারণ আইন কানুন দেহের মাধ্যমে দুর্বল হয়ে পড়ার জন্য যা করতে পারে নি তা ঈশ্বর করেছেন, তিনি নিজের পুত্রকে আমাদের মত পাপময় দেহে এবং পাপের জন্য বলিরূপে পাঠিয়ে দিয়েছেন এবং তিনি পুত্রের দেহের মাধ্যমে পাপের বিচার করে দোষী করলেন।
4 so that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.
৪তিনি এটা করেছেন যাতে আইনের বিধিগুলি আমাদের মধ্যে পূর্ণ হয়, আমরা যারা দেহের বশে নয় কিন্তু আত্মার বশে চলি।
5 Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
৫কারণ যারা দেহের বশে আছে, তারা দেহের বিষয়ের দিকেই মনোযোগ দেয়; কিন্তু যারা আত্মার অধীনে আছে, তারা আত্মিক বিষয় এর দিকে মনোযোগ দেয়।
6 Further, the mindset of the flesh yields death, but the mindset of the Spirit yields life and peace;
৬কারণ দেহের মনোবৃত্তি হলো মৃত্যু কিন্তু আত্মার মনোবৃত্তি জীবন ও শান্তি।
7 because the mindset of the flesh represents enmity against God, since it does not submit to God's law, nor indeed can it.
৭কারণ দেহের মনোবৃত্তি হলো ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধতা, আর তা ঈশ্বরের আইন মেনে চলতে পারে না, বাস্তবে হতে পারেও না।
8 So, those who are ‘in flesh’ cannot please God.
৮যারা দেহের অধীনে থাকে তারা ঈশ্বরকে সন্তুষ্ট করতে সক্ষম নয়।
9 You, however, are not ‘in flesh’ but ‘in Spirit’, if indeed God's Spirit dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
৯যদিও, তোমরা দেহের অধীনে নও কিন্তু আত্মার অধীনে আছ যদি বাস্তবে ঈশ্বরের আত্মা তোমাদের মধ্যে বাস করেন। কিন্তু যদি করো খ্রীষ্টের আত্মা নেই, তবে সে খ্রীষ্টের থেকে নয়।
10 But if Christ is in you, the body is dead through sin, but the Spirit is life through righteousness.
১০যদি খ্রীষ্ট তোমাদের অন্তরে থাকেন, তবে একদিকে দেহ পাপের জন্য মৃত বটে, কিন্তু অন্য দিকে ধার্মিকতার দিক থেকে আত্মা জীবিত।
11 And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then He who raised the Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of His Spirit who dwells in you.
১১আর যিনি মৃতদের মধ্য থেকে যীশুকে উঠিয়েছেন, তাঁর আত্মা যদি তোমাদের মধ্যে বাস করেন, তবে যিনি মৃতদের মধ্য থেকে খ্রীষ্ট যীশুকে পুনরুত্থিত করেছেন তিনি তোমাদের অন্তরে বাস করছেন এবং নিজের আত্মার মাধ্যমে তোমাদের মরণশীল দেহকেও জীবিত করবেন।
12 So then, brothers, we have no obligation to the flesh, to live according to it;
১২সুতরাং, হে ভাইয়েরা, আমরা ঋণী কিন্তু দেহের কাছে নয় যে, দেহের ইচ্ছা অনুযায়ী জীবন যাপন করব।
13 because if you live according to the flesh, you are about to die; but if you put to death the practices of the body, by the Spirit, you will live.
১৩কারণ যদি দেহের ইচ্ছায় জীবন যাপন কর, তবে তোমরা নিশ্চিত ভাবে মরবে, কিন্তু যদি পবিত্র আত্মাতে দেহের সব খারাপ কাজগুলি মেরে ফেল তবে জীবিত থাকবে।
14 Because as many as are led by God's Spirit, these are God's sons
১৪কারণ যত লোক ঈশ্বরের আত্মায় পরিচালিত হয় তারা সবাই ঈশ্বরের পুত্র।
15 —you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fear all over again, but you did receive the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father!”
১৫আর তোমরা দাসত্ব করবার জন্য আত্মা পাও নি যে, আবার ভয় করবে; কিন্তু দত্তক পুত্রের জন্য আত্মা পেয়েছ, যে মন্দ আত্মার মাধ্যমে আমরা আব্বা, পিতা, বলে ডেকে উঠি।
16 That Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are God's children
১৬পবিত্র আত্মা নিজেই আমাদের আত্মার সঙ্গে সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছে যে, আমরা ঈশ্বরেরই সন্তান।
17 —if children, also heirs: heirs of God and coheirs with Christ (if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him).
১৭যখন আমরা সন্তান, তখন আমরা উত্তরাধিকারী, একদিকে ঈশ্বরের উত্তরাধিকারী এবং অন্য দিকে খ্রীষ্টের সহউত্তরাধিকারী, যদি বাস্তবে আমরা তাঁর সঙ্গে দুঃখভোগ করি, তবে যেন তাঁর সঙ্গে আমরা মহিমান্বিত হই।
18 I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is going to be revealed in us.
১৮কারণ আমার সিদ্ধান্ত এই যে, আমাদের জন্য যে মহিমা প্রকাশিত হবে, তার সঙ্গে এই বর্ত্তমান দিনের র কষ্ট ও দুঃখভোগ তুলনার যোগ্য নয়।
19 You see, the creation waits with eager anticipation for the revelation of God's sons;
১৯কারণ সৃষ্টির একান্ত আশা ঈশ্বরের পুত্রদের প্রকাশের জন্য অপেক্ষা করছে।
20 because without choice the creation was subjected to futility, due to the One who did the subjecting, based on the hope
২০কারণ সৃষ্টির উদ্দেশ্যটাই অসার হয়ে গেছে, এটা নিজের আশায় হলো তা নয়, কিন্তু তাঁর ইচ্ছাতেই হয়েছে এবং তার সঙ্গে দৃঢ় আস্থাও দিয়েছেন।
21 that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage to decay into the freedom of the glory of God's children.
২১এই আশা হলো যে, সৃষ্টি নিজেও বিনাশের দাসত্ব থেকে মুক্ত হয়ে ঈশ্বরের সন্তানদের মহিমায় স্বাধীনতা পাবে।
22 Yes, we know that the whole creation has been groaning and in labor pains until now.
২২কারণ আমরা জানি যে, সব সৃষ্টি এখনও পর্যন্ত একসঙ্গে যন্ত্রণায় চিত্কার করছে এবং একসঙ্গে ব্যথা পাচ্ছে।
23 Not only that, we ourselves also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we groan within ourselves, eagerly awaiting adoption, the redemption of our body.
২৩কিন্তু শুধু তাই নয়; এমনকি আমরাও যাদের আত্মার প্রথম ফল আছে, সেই আমরা নিজেরাও দত্তক পুত্রের জন্য নিজেদের শরীরের মুক্তির অপেক্ষা করতে করতে নিজেদের মধ্যে যন্ত্রণায় চিত্কার করছি।
24 Yes, we were saved in the hope, but a hope that is seen is not hope—why would anyone hope for what he sees?
২৪কারণ আমাদের দৃঢ় আস্থা আছে যে পরিত্রান পেয়েছি। কিন্তু যে দৃঢ় আস্থা দেখতে পাচ্ছি তা আসলে আস্থা নয়। কারণ যে যা দেখে সে তার উপর কেন দৃঢ় আশা করবে?
25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly await it with endurance.
২৫কিন্তু আমরা যা এখনো দেখতে পায়নি তার উপর যদি দৃঢ় আস্থা করি, তবে ধৈর্য্যের সঙ্গে তার আশায় থাকি।
26 Likewise also the Spirit comes to the aid of the hope in our weaknesses, since we do not know what we need to pray for. Indeed the Spirit Himself intercedes on our behalf with inexpressible groanings,
২৬ঠিক সেইভাবে আত্মাও আমাদের দুর্বলতায় সাহায্য করেন; কারণ আমরা জানি না কেমন করে প্রার্থনা করতে হয়, কিন্তু আত্মা নিজে মধ্যস্থতা করে যন্ত্রণার মাধ্যমে আমাদের জন্য অনুরোধ করেন।
27 while He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, since He prays for the saints in accordance with God.
২৭আর যিনি হৃদয়ের সন্ধান করেন তিনি জানেন আত্মার মনোভাব কি, কারণ তিনি পবিত্রদের জন্য ঈশ্বরের ইচ্ছা অনুযায়ী মধ্যস্থতা করে অনুরোধ করেন।
28 Further, we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to purpose.
২৮এবং আমরা জানি যারা ঈশ্বরকে ভালবাসে, যারা তাঁর সঙ্কল্প অনুযায়ী মনোনীত, সবকিছু একসঙ্গে তাদের মঙ্গলের জন্য কাজ করছে।
29 Because whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.
২৯কারণ তিনি যাদের আগে থেকে জানতেন, তাদেরকে নিজের পুত্রের প্রতিমূর্ত্তির মত হবার জন্য আগে থেকে ঠিক করে রেখেছিলেন; যেন তিনি অনেক ভাইয়ের মধ্যে প্রথমজাত ভাই হন।
30 Further, whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
৩০আর তিনি যাদেরকে আগে থেকে ঠিক করলেন, তাদেরকে তিনি আহ্বানও করলেন। আর যাদেরকে আহ্বান করলেন, তাদেরকে তিনি ধার্মিক বলে গন্যও করলেন; আর যাদেরকে ধার্মিক বলে গণ্য করলেন তাদেরকে মহিমান্বিতও করলেন।
31 What then shall we say to these things? Since God is for us, who is against us?
৩১এখন আমরা এই সব বিষয়ে কি বলব? যখন ঈশ্বর আমাদের পক্ষে, তখন কে আমাদের বিরুদ্ধে হতে পারে?
32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up on behalf of us all, how shall He not with Him also graciously give us all things?
৩২যিনি নিজের পুত্রের উপর মায়া করলেন না, কিন্তু আমাদের সবার জন্য তাঁকে দান করলেন, তিনি কি তাঁর সঙ্গে সবই আমাদেরকে অনুগ্রহের সঙ্গে দান করবেন না?
33 Who will bring a charge against God's chosen ones? God is He who justifies.
৩৩ঈশ্বর যাদের মনোনীত করেছেন তাদের বিপক্ষে কে অভিযোগ করবে? ঈশ্বর ত তাদেরকে ধার্মিক করেন।
34 Who is he who condemns? Christ is He who died, but even more, was indeed raised, who indeed is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes on our behalf.
৩৪তবে কে তাদের দোষী করবে? তিনি কি খ্রীষ্ট যীশু যিনি মরলেন এবং তিনি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভাবে মৃতদের মধ্য থেকে উঠলেন; আর তিনিই ঈশ্বরের দক্ষিণে বসে আছেন এবং আমাদের জন্য অনুরোধ করছেন।
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Will it be affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword?
৩৫কে আমাদের খ্রীষ্টের ভালবাসা থেকে পৃথক করবে? কি দারুন যন্ত্রণা? কি কষ্ট? কি তাড়না? কি দূর্ভিক্ষ? কি উলঙ্গতা? কি প্রাণ-সংশয়? কি খড়্গ?
36 (As it is written: “For your sake we are being put to death all day long; we are accounted as sheep for slaughter.”)
৩৬যেমন শাস্ত্রে লেখা আছে, “তোমার জন্য আমরা সারাটা দিন ধরে নিহত হচ্ছি। আমরা পশুবধের জন্য মেষের মত বিবেচিত হলাম।”
37 No, in all these things we prevail completely through Him who loved us.
৩৭যিনি আমাদেরকে ভালবেসেছেন, তাঁরই মাধ্যমে আমরা এই সব বিষয়ে বিজয়ী অপেক্ষাও অনেক বেশি জয়ী হয়েছি।
38 Because I am persuaded that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities nor powers, neither things present nor things to come,
৩৮কারণ আমি নিশ্চয় জানি যে, কি মৃত্যু, কি জীবন, কি দূতগণ, কি আধিপত্য সকল, কি বর্তমান বিষয়গুলি, কি ভবিষ্যতের বিষয়, কি পরাক্রম,
39 neither height nor depth nor any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
৩৯কি উচ্চ জায়গা, কি গভীরতা, এমনকি অন্য কোন সৃষ্টির জিনিস, কোনো কিছুই আমাদের প্রভু খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে ঈশ্বরের ভালবাসা থেকে আমাদের আলাদা করতে পারবে না।
