Romans 5
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, let us be at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
೧ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ನಾವು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನೀತಿವಂತರಾದ ಕಾರಣ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವುಂಟು.
2 through whom also we have had the access, by the Faith, into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
೨ಈಗ ನಾವು ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪಾಶ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನ ಮುಖಾಂತರವೇ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಸೇರಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
3 Not only so, but we should also rejoice in the sufferings, knowing that the suffering produces perseverance;
೩ಇದು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ನಮಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಕಷ್ಟಸಂಕಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
4 and the perseverance, proven character; and the proven character, hope;
೪ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕಷ್ಟಸಂಕಟಗಳು ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯನ್ನು, ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯೂ ಸದ್ಗುಣವನ್ನು, ಸದ್ಗುಣವು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆಂದು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು.
5 and the hope does not humiliate, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
೫ಈ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಶಾಭಂಗಪಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
6 Now then, when we were incapacitated, even so Christ died for the ungodly, at the right moment.
೬ನಾವು ಬಲಹೀನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಿಯಮಿತ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾಣಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
7 Now scarcely even for a righteous person will someone offer to die (although on behalf of a good man someone might dare even to die),
೭ನೀತಿವಂತರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಪ್ರಾಣಕೊಡುವುದು ಅಪರೂಪ. ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಧೈರ್ಯಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು.
8 but God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us!
೮ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಪಾಪಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾಣಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ತನಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
9 So now that we have been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from the wrath through Him!
೯ಈಗ ನಾವು ಆತನ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ನೀತಿವಂತರಾಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗುವುದು ಅಷ್ಟೇ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಲ್ಲವೇ?
10 Because since we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, while we were enemies, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life!
೧೦ನಾವು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ ನಮಗೆ ಆತನ ಮಗನ ಮರಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಧಾನವಾಯಿತು ಆತನ ಕೂಡ ಸಂಧಾನವಾದ ನಮಗೆ ಮಗನ ಜೀವದಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗುವುದು ಅಷ್ಟೇ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಲ್ಲವೇ?
11 No wonder we rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation!
೧೧ಇಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಧಾನವಾದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
12 Now then, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, just so death spread to all men, because all sinned
೧೨ಈ ವಿಷಯ ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ಆದಾಮನಿಂದಲೇ ಪಾಪವೂ ಲೋಕದೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಮರಣವು ಪಾಪದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ, ಹಾಗು, ಮರಣವು ಎಲ್ಲರು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿಯಾಯಿತು.
13 —sin was in the world before the law, to be sure, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
೧೩ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವು ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ಪಾಪವು ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವಿಲ್ಲದಿರುವಾಗ ಪಾಪವು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
14 Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin in the likeness of Adam's transgression (he is a type of the coming one).
೧೪ಆದರೂ ಆದಾಮನ ಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಕಾಲದವರೆಗೂ ಮರಣದ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದಾಮನು ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಮಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅದು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಆದಾಮನು ಬರಬೇಕಾದ ಒಬ್ಬಾತನಾದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿರೂಪನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
15 Now the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one, how much more did God's grace and the bounty by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many!
೧೫ಆದರೆ ಆ ಅಪರಾಧದ ಸಂಗತಿಗೂ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪಾದಾನದ ಸಂಗತಿಗೂ ಬಹಳ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವುಂಟು. ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ಆ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಅಪರಾಧದಿಂದ ಬಹುಮಂದಿ ಸತ್ತರು ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೆಂಬ ಈ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನ ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವ ವರವೂ ಅನೇಕರಿಗೆ ಹೇರಳವಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವುದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಲ್ಲವೇ.
16 Again, the gift is not like what came from one man's having sinned: because the judgment into condemnation followed one offense, while the gracious gift into justification followed many offenses.
೧೬ದೇವರ ವರವು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಪಾಪದ ಫಲದಂತಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಪಾಪದ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪಾದಾನವು ಅನೇಕರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೀತಿವಂತರೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಯಿತು.
17 Further, if by the offense of the one man death reigned through that man, much more will those who receive the abundance of the grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
೧೭ಒಬ್ಬನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಪರಾಧದಿಂದ ಮರಣವು ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಆ ಒಬ್ಬನ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಮರಣವು ಆಳುವುದಾದರೆ ದೇವರು ಧಾರಾಳವಾಗಿ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸುವ ಕೃಪಾದಾನವನ್ನೂ, ನೀತಿಯೆಂಬ ವರವನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಿದವರು ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೆಂಬ ಈ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನ ಮೂಲಕ ಜೀವಭರಿತರಾಗಿ ಆಳುವುದು ಮತ್ತೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಲ್ಲವೇ.
18 So then, as through one offense there is condemnation for everyone, so also through one righteous act there is life-giving justification for everyone.
೧೮ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಆದಾಮನ ಒಂದೇ ಅಪರಾಧದ ಮೂಲಕ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮರಣವೆಂಬ ನಿರ್ಣಯವು ಹೇಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಒಂದೇ ಸತ್ಕಾರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರೆಂಬ ನಿರ್ಣಯವು ಉಂಟಾಗಿ ಜೀವವು ಫಲಿಸಿತು.
19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be constituted righteous.
೧೯ಒಬ್ಬನ ಅವಿಧೇಯತ್ವದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೇಗೆ ಪಾಪಿಗಳಾದರೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಒಬ್ಬನ ವಿಧೇಯತ್ವದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ನೀತಿವಂತರಾಗುವರು.
20 However, law came on the scene so that the offense might abound; but where the sin abounded, the grace superabounded,
೨೦ಅಪರಾಧಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದೆಂತಲ್ಲಾ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವು ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿತು. ಆದರೆ ಪಾಪವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದಾಗಲ್ಲೇ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಯಿತು.
21 so that just as sin reigned in the death, so also the grace might reign through righteousness into eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
೨೧ಹೀಗೆ ಪಾಪವು ಮರಣವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಯು ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮೂಲಕ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಆಳುವಂತಾಯಿತು. (aiōnios g166)
