< Philippians 3 >

1 Finally, my brothers, rejoice in Sovereign. For me to write the same things to you is not troublesome and for you it is the safe thing.
Finally, my brethren, rejoice in Master. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
2 Watch out for the ‘dogs’, watch out for the bad workers, watch out for the mutilation!
Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
3 For it is we who are the circumcision, the ones who worship by God's Spirit and glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in flesh
For we are the circumcision, which worship YHWH in the spirit, and rejoice in the Messiah Yahushua, and have no confidence in the flesh.
4 (though I myself actually have basis for such confidence). If anyone else thinks he has basis for confidence in flesh, I even more:
Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
5 circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; with respect to the Law, a Pharisee;
Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
6 with respect to zeal, persecuting the Church; with respect to the righteousness that is in the law, blameless.
Concerning zeal, persecuting the assembly; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
7 But such things as were gain to me, these I have considered loss for the sake of the Christ.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for the Messiah.
8 Yes indeed, in fact I actually consider everything to be a loss for the sake of the excelling thing, the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord—for His sake I have already lost everything (and consider it as trash), so that I may gain Christ
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of the Messiah Yahushua my Master: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win the Messiah,
9 and be found in Him, not having as my righteousness that of the Law but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness of God based on that faith;
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of the Messiah, the righteousness which is of YHWH by faith:
10 so that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death,
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 and so, somehow, that I may arrive into the resurrection from among the dead
If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 —not that I have already obtained it or have already been perfected; but I press on to actually claim that for which Christ Jesus claimed me.
Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of the Messiah Yahushua.
13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have already claimed it, but this: forgetting the things behind and straining toward those ahead,
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press on toward the goal for the prize, the upward call from God because of Christ Jesus.
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of YHWH in the Messiah Yahushua.
15 So then, those of us who are mature should have this mentality, but if on some point you think differently, God will reveal that to you as well.
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, YHWH shall reveal even this unto you.
16 Only, in what we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.
Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
17 Brothers, join together in imitating me, and having us as a pattern take note of those who walk in the same way.
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
18 Because many are walking as enemies of the cross of Christ—of whom I told you often, and now tell you even with tears—
(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of the Messiah:
19 whose end is ruin, whose god is their stomach, and whose glory is in their shame; their mind is only on earthly things.
Whose end is destruction, whose elohim is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20 But our citizenship is in Heaven, and it is from there that we eagerly await our Deliverer, Sovereign Jesus Christ;
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Master Yahushua the Messiah:
21 who will transform the body of our humiliation so that it will be conformed to the body of His glory, according to the working by which He is indeed able to subject all things to Himself.
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
