< Philippians 1 >
1 Paul and Timothy, slaves of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons:
Saa nhoma yi fi Paulo ne Timoteo a wɔyɛ Kristo Yesu nkoa nkyɛn, Wɔde kɔma Yesu Kristo mu ahotefo ne ahwɛfo ne asomafo a wɔwɔ Filipi no nyinaa:
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Sovereign Jesus Christ.
Adom ne asomdwoe a efi yɛn Agya Nyankopɔn ne Awurade Yesu Kristo nka mo.
3 I thank my God every time I remember you;
Bere biara a mekae mo no, meda Onyankopɔn ase.
4 in all my prayers for all of you I always pray with joy,
Saa ara nso na da biara mede anigye bɔ mpae ma mo,
5 because of your partnership in the Gospel from the first day until now,
efisɛ efi da a edi kan de besi sesɛɛ no, moaboa me wɔ asɛmpaka no adwumayɛ mu.
6 being certain of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the Day of Jesus Christ;
Eyi nti migye di yiye sɛ Onyankopɔn a ofii ase yɛɛ saa adwuma pa yi wɔ mo mu no bɛkɔ so de akosi da a Yesu Kristo bɛba no.
7 just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the Gospel you all are partakers with me of the Grace.
Sɛnea mo ho adwene pa wɔ me tirim no nti sɛ daa mekae mo a, na ne kwan so ara ne no. Efisɛ sɛ meda mpokyerɛ mu, anaasɛ mede me ho na mereka Asɛmpa no a, mo nyinaa ne me nya Onyankopɔn adom.
8 God is my witness how I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.
Onyankopɔn ankasa di me adanse sɛ mʼani agyina mo wɔ Yesu Kristo dɔ mu.
9 This is what I pray: that your love may abound yet more and more in real knowledge and full discernment,
Me mpae a mebɔ ma mo ne sɛ ɔdɔ a mode dodɔ mo ho mo ho no mu bɛyɛ den, na mubenyin wɔ nimdeɛ ne ntease mu,
10 for you to identify the things that really matter; that you may be sincere and blameless until the Day of Christ,
sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a mubehu nea eye na da a Kristo bɛba no na moayɛ kronkron a obi nka asɛm bi ntia mo.
11 having been filled with the fruits of righteousness that are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Nneɛma pa a Yesu Kristo no nko betumi de ama mo no bɛhyɛ mo abrabɔ ma de ahyɛ Onyankopɔn anuonyam akamfo no.
12 Now I want you to know, brothers, that the events against me have actually turned out for the advancement of the Gospel:
Anuanom, mepɛ sɛ mote ase sɛ nneɛma a aba me so nyinaa aboa ama Asɛmpa no atrɛw.
13 as a result, it has become evident to the whole imperial guard, and to everyone else, that I am in chains for Christ;
Ɛno nti awɛmfo a wɔwɔ ahemfi ha ne afoforo a wɔka wɔn ho no nyinaa nim sɛ, esiane sɛ meyɛ Kristo somfo no nti na meda afiase.
14 also, most of the brothers in Sovereign have been influenced by my chains to be much bolder, to speak the Word fearlessly.
Afiase a meda no ahyɛ anuanom bebree nkuran wɔ Awurade mu ma wotumi ka Onyankopɔn asɛm no wɔ akokoduru so a wonsuro hwee.
15 To be sure, some are even preaching Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of good will;
Ɛyɛ nokware sɛ wɔn mu ebinom nam nitan ne ntɔkwapɛ so ka Kristo ho asɛm foforo, na afoforo nso de adwene pa na ɛka ne ho asɛm.
16 the former proclaim Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, thinking to add to my affliction while in chains,
Wɔn a wɔde adwene pa ka asɛm no fi ɔdɔ mu na ɛka, efisɛ, wonim sɛ Onyankopɔn asɛm nti na meda afiase.
17 but the latter out of love, knowing that I am set here for the defense of the Gospel.
Afoforo a wɔnam nitan ne ntɔkwapɛ so ka asɛm no nso dwene sɛ wɔnam saa kwan yi so bɛma mʼahohiahia aboro so wɔ mʼafiasenna nna yi mu.
18 No problem: in every way, be it in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in this I rejoice—yes, and will rejoice.
Eyi nti na ayɛ dɛn? Ɛyɛ me anigyesɛm. Nea ehia ara ne sɛ, sɛ wofi adwene pa anaa adwemmɔne mu no, Kristo ho asɛm ara na wɔka. Na eyi nti mʼani gye na mɛkɔ so ama mʼani agye,
19 You see, I know that this will turn out for my deliverance (through your supplication and the support of the Spirit of Jesus Christ)
efisɛ minim sɛ mo mpaebɔ ne adom a efi Yesu Kristo Honhom mmoa mu no nti wobegyaa me.
20 according to my earnest expectation and hope that I will not be put to shame in anything but be truly bold, so that now as always Christ will be glorified in my person, whether by life or by death
Me pɛ ne mʼanidaso titiriw ne sɛ, mmere nyinaa mede nsi ne anem bɛyɛ mʼadwuma; mpo saa bere yi, sɛ mete ase o, sɛ miwu o, mede me nipadua nyinaa bɛhyɛ Kristo anuonyam.
21 —to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
Me de, Kristo nti na mete ase; na mpo, owu yɛ me mfaso.
22 Now if I am to live on in the flesh it will mean fruitful labor for me, so I do not know what to choose.
Nanso sɛ mete ase a, metumi ayɛ adwuma a so wɔ mfaso ama Kristo. Ɛno nti minhu mu nea memfa, asetena anaasɛ owu.
23 I am torn between the two: I have the desire to depart and be with Christ (far better),
Eyi ayɛ me aniani. Pɛ na mepɛ sɛ mitu fi wiase ne Kristo kɔtena, efisɛ ɛno mmom na eye;
24 but to remain in the flesh is more necessary, because of you.
nanso mo nti, sɛ mete ase nso a anka eye.
25 So having been persuaded of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith,
Minim sɛ me ho hia wɔ asase yi so ha; ɛno nti migye di sɛ mɛtena ha kakra na maboa mo ama moanyin wɔ gyidi mu anya anigye.
26 so that your rejoicing over me may be more abundant in Christ Jesus, through my coming to you again.
Mʼasetena yi bɛma mo ani agye na sɛ mesan bɛsra mo bio a, mubenya biribi agyina so ahyɛ Kristo anuonyam sɛ ɔbɔɔ me ho ban.
27 Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you, or am absent, I may hear about you that you stand firm in one spirit, striving together for the faith of the Gospel with one soul,
Mprempren, ade a ɛho hia me ne sɛ biribiara a ɛbɛto mo no, momma mo abrabɔ mfata Kristo Asɛmpa no nko ara, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a, sɛ yehyia o, sɛ yɛanhyia o, mɛte mo ho asɛm pa sɛ mugyina pintinn na mukura botae koro ne gyidi koro wɔ Asɛmpa no ho.
28 and not being intimidated in any way by your opponents: to them this is an indicator of ruin, but to you of deliverance, and that from God.
Munnsuro mo atamfo. Biribiara a mobɛyɛ no, momfa akokoduru nnyina pintinn. Na eyi bedi adanse sɛ wobedi nkogu na moadi nkonim, efisɛ Onyankopɔn ka mo ho.
29 For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe into Him, but also to suffer for His sake,
Na mo de, ɛnyɛ sɛ wɔadom mo sɛ munni Kristo akyi nko, na mmom sɛ mubehu amane nso.
30 having the same struggle that you saw in me and now hear to be in me.
Afei mubetumi ne me abɔ mu ako ɔko a mereko no. Saa ɔko yi na bere a atwa mu no, mekoe na migu so reko sɛnea mote no.
