Matthew 12
1 At that time Jesus went through the grain fields on the Sabbath. But His disciples became hungry and began to pluck heads of grain and to eat.
ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಯೀಶು ರ್ವಿಶ್ರಾಮವಾರೇ ಶ್ಸ್ಯಮಧ್ಯೇನ ಗಚ್ಛತಿ, ತದಾ ತಚ್ಛಿಷ್ಯಾ ಬುಭುಕ್ಷಿತಾಃ ಸನ್ತಃ ಶ್ಸ್ಯಮಞ್ಜರೀಶ್ಛತ್ವಾ ಛಿತ್ವಾ ಖಾದಿತುಮಾರಭನ್ತ|
2 And upon seeing it the Pharisees said to Him, “Hey, your disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on a Sabbath!”
ತದ್ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ಫಿರೂಶಿನೋ ಯೀಶುಂ ಜಗದುಃ, ಪಶ್ಯ ವಿಶ್ರಾಮವಾರೇ ಯತ್ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮಾಕರ್ತ್ತವ್ಯಂ ತದೇವ ತವ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾಃ ಕುರ್ವ್ವನ್ತಿ|
3 But He said to them: “Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and those who were with him,
ಸ ತಾನ್ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಾವದತ, ದಾಯೂದ್ ತತ್ಸಙ್ಗಿನಶ್ಚ ಬುಭುಕ್ಷಿತಾಃ ಸನ್ತೋ ಯತ್ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮಾಕುರ್ವ್ವನ್ ತತ್ ಕಿಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿ ರ್ನಾಪಾಠಿ?
4 how he entered the house of God and ate the loaves of presentation, which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those with him, but only for the priests?
ಯೇ ದರ್ಶನೀಯಾಃ ಪೂಪಾಃ ಯಾಜಕಾನ್ ವಿನಾ ತಸ್ಯ ತತ್ಸಙ್ಗಿಮನುಜಾನಾಞ್ಚಾಭೋಜನೀಯಾಸ್ತ ಈಶ್ವರಾವಾಸಂ ಪ್ರವಿಷ್ಟೇನ ತೇನ ಭುಕ್ತಾಃ|
5 Or have you not read in the Law that on the Sabbaths the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are guiltless?
ಅನ್ಯಚ್ಚ ವಿಶ್ರಾಮವಾರೇ ಮಧ್ಯೇಮನ್ದಿರಂ ವಿಶ್ರಾಮವಾರೀಯಂ ನಿಯಮಂ ಲಙ್ವನ್ತೋಪಿ ಯಾಜಕಾ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಾ ಭವನ್ತಿ, ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಮಧ್ಯೇ ಕಿಮಿದಮಪಿ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಭಿ ರ್ನ ಪಠಿತಂ?
6 Yet I say to you that a greater than the temple is here.
ಯುಷ್ಮಾನಹಂ ವದಾಮಿ, ಅತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಾನೇ ಮನ್ದಿರಾದಪಿ ಗರೀಯಾನ್ ಏಕ ಆಸ್ತೇ|
7 If you had but known what this means, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.
ಕಿನ್ತು ದಯಾಯಾಂ ಮೇ ಯಥಾ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ರ್ನ ತಥಾ ಯಜ್ಞಕರ್ಮ್ಮಣಿ| ಏತದ್ವಚನಸ್ಯಾರ್ಥಂ ಯದಿ ಯುಯಮ್ ಅಜ್ಞಾಸಿಷ್ಟ ತರ್ಹಿ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಾನ್ ದೋಷಿಣೋ ನಾಕಾರ್ಷ್ಟ|
8 Furthermore, the Son of the Man is Lord of the Sabbath!”
ಅನ್ಯಚ್ಚ ಮನುಜಸುತೋ ವಿಶ್ರಾಮವಾರಸ್ಯಾಪಿ ಪತಿರಾಸ್ತೇ|
9 Now moving on from there He went into their synagogue.
ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಸ ತತ್ಸ್ಥಾನಾತ್ ಪ್ರಸ್ಥಾಯ ತೇಷಾಂ ಭಜನಭವನಂ ಪ್ರವಿಷ್ಟವಾನ್, ತದಾನೀಮ್ ಏಕಃ ಶುಷ್ಕಕರಾಮಯವಾನ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತವಾನ್|
10 And there was a man with a withered hand! And they asked Him saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might accuse Him.
ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಮ್ ಅಪವದಿತುಂ ಮಾನುಷಾಃ ಪಪ್ರಚ್ಛುಃ, ವಿಶ್ರಾಮವಾರೇ ನಿರಾಮಯತ್ವಂ ಕರಣೀಯಂ ನ ವಾ?
11 So He said to them: “What man will there be among you who has one sheep, and should this one fall into a ditch on the Sabbath, will he not lay hold of it and lift it out?
ತೇನ ಸ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುವಾಚ, ವಿಶ್ರಾಮವಾರೇ ಯದಿ ಕಸ್ಯಚಿದ್ ಅವಿ ರ್ಗರ್ತ್ತೇ ಪತತಿ, ತರ್ಹಿ ಯಸ್ತಂ ಘೃತ್ವಾ ನ ತೋಲಯತಿ, ಏತಾದೃಶೋ ಮನುಜೋ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಕ ಆಸ್ತೇ?
12 Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
ಅವೇ ರ್ಮಾನವಃ ಕಿಂ ನಹಿ ಶ್ರೇಯಾನ್? ಅತೋ ವಿಶ್ರಾಮವಾರೇ ಹಿತಕರ್ಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತ್ತವ್ಯಂ|
13 Then He says to the man, “Stretch out your hand!” And he stretched it out, and it was restored whole like the other.
ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಸ ತಂ ಮಾನವಂ ಗದಿತವಾನ್, ಕರಂ ಪ್ರಸಾರಯ; ತೇನ ಕರೇ ಪ್ರಸಾರಿತೇ ಸೋನ್ಯಕರವತ್ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥೋಽಭವತ್|
14 But going out the Pharisees plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him.
ತದಾ ಫಿರೂಶಿನೋ ಬಹಿರ್ಭೂಯ ಕಥಂ ತಂ ಹನಿಷ್ಯಾಮ ಇತಿ ಕುಮನ್ತ್ರಣಾಂ ತತ್ಪ್ರಾತಿಕೂಲ್ಯೇನ ಚಕ್ರುಃ|
15 So being aware, Jesus withdrew from there. And large crowds followed Him, and He healed them all.
ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತದ್ ವಿದಿತ್ವಾ ಸ್ಥನಾನ್ತರಂ ಗತವಾನ್; ಅನ್ಯೇಷು ಬಹುನರೇಷು ತತ್ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ಗತೇಷು ತಾನ್ ಸ ನಿರಾಮಯಾನ್ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಇತ್ಯಾಜ್ಞಾಪಯತ್,
16 Yet He warned them not to make Him known,
ಯೂಯಂ ಮಾಂ ನ ಪರಿಚಾಯಯತ|
17 so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, namely:
ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಮಮ ಪ್ರೀಯೋ ಮನೋನೀತೋ ಮನಸಸ್ತುಷ್ಟಿಕಾರಕಃ| ಮದೀಯಃ ಸೇವಕೋ ಯಸ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯತೇ ತಂ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷತಾಂ| ತಸ್ಯೋಪರಿ ಸ್ವಕೀಯಾತ್ಮಾ ಮಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಯಿಷ್ಯತೇ| ತೇನಾನ್ಯದೇಶಜಾತೇಷು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾ ಸಂಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ಯತೇ|
18 “Behold my Servant whom I chose, my Beloved in whom my soul is well pleased! I will put my Spirit upon Him, and He will declare justice to the nations.
ಕೇನಾಪಿ ನ ವಿರೋಧಂ ಸ ವಿವಾದಞ್ಚ ಕರಿಷ್ಯತಿ| ನ ಚ ರಾಜಪಥೇ ತೇನ ವಚನಂ ಶ್ರಾವಯಿಷ್ಯತೇ|
19 He will not quarrel nor cry-out, nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.
ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾ ಚಲಿತಾ ಯಾವತ್ ನಹಿ ತೇನ ಕರಿಷ್ಯತೇ| ತಾವತ್ ನಲೋ ವಿದೀರ್ಣೋಽಪಿ ಭಂಕ್ಷ್ಯತೇ ನಹಿ ತೇನ ಚ| ತಥಾ ಸಧೂಮವರ್ತ್ತಿಞ್ಚ ನ ಸ ನಿರ್ವ್ವಾಪಯಿಷ್ಯತೇ|
20 A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not quench, until He sends justice forth to victory.
ಪ್ರತ್ಯಾಶಾಞ್ಚ ಕರಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ ತನ್ನಾಮ್ನಿ ಭಿನ್ನದೇಶಜಾಃ|
21 And in His name Gentiles will trust.”
ಯಾನ್ಯೇತಾನಿ ವಚನಾನಿ ಯಿಶಯಿಯಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಾದಿನಾ ಪ್ರೋಕ್ತಾನ್ಯಾಸನ್, ತಾನಿ ಸಫಲಾನ್ಯಭವನ್|
22 Then a demonized man was brought to Him, blind and mute, and He healed him, so that the A blind and B mute B spoke and A saw.
ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಲೋಕೈ ಸ್ತತ್ಸಮೀಪಮ್ ಆನೀತೋ ಭೂತಗ್ರಸ್ತಾನ್ಧಮೂಕೈಕಮನುಜಸ್ತೇನ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥೀಕೃತಃ, ತತಃ ಸೋಽನ್ಧೋ ಮೂಕೋ ದ್ರಷ್ಟುಂ ವಕ್ತುಞ್ಚಾರಬ್ಧವಾನ್|
23 And all the crowds were amazed and said, “Might this not be the Christ, the Son of David?”
ಅನೇನ ಸರ್ವ್ವೇ ವಿಸ್ಮಿತಾಃ ಕಥಯಾಞ್ಚಕ್ರುಃ, ಏಷಃ ಕಿಂ ದಾಯೂದಃ ಸನ್ತಾನೋ ನಹಿ?
24 But upon hearing it the Pharisees said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebul, ruler of the demons.”
ಕಿನ್ತು ಫಿರೂಶಿನಸ್ತತ್ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಗದಿತವನ್ತಃ, ಬಾಲ್ಸಿಬೂಬ್ನಾಮ್ನೋ ಭೂತರಾಜಸ್ಯ ಸಾಹಾಯ್ಯಂ ವಿನಾ ನಾಯಂ ಭೂತಾನ್ ತ್ಯಾಜಯತಿ|
25 But knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself becomes desolate, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.
ತದಾನೀಂ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತೇಷಾಮ್ ಇತಿ ಮಾನಸಂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಯ ತಾನ್ ಅವದತ್ ಕಿಞ್ಚನ ರಾಜ್ಯಂ ಯದಿ ಸ್ವವಿಪಕ್ಷಾದ್ ಭಿದ್ಯತೇ, ತರ್ಹಿ ತತ್ ಉಚ್ಛಿದ್ಯತೇ; ಯಚ್ಚ ಕಿಞ್ಚನ ನಗರಂ ವಾ ಗೃಹಂ ಸ್ವವಿಪಕ್ಷಾದ್ ವಿಭಿದ್ಯತೇ, ತತ್ ಸ್ಥಾತುಂ ನ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ|
26 So if Satan casts out Satan he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?
ತದ್ವತ್ ಶಯತಾನೋ ಯದಿ ಶಯತಾನಂ ಬಹಿಃ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ಸ್ವವಿಪಕ್ಷಾತ್ ಪೃಥಕ್ ಪೃಥಕ್ ಭವತಿ, ತರ್ಹಿ ತಸ್ಯ ರಾಜ್ಯಂ ಕೇನ ಪ್ರಕಾರೇಣ ಸ್ಥಾಸ್ಯತಿ?
27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.
ಅಹಞ್ಚ ಯದಿ ಬಾಲ್ಸಿಬೂಬಾ ಭೂತಾನ್ ತ್ಯಾಜಯಾಮಿ, ತರ್ಹಿ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಸನ್ತಾನಾಃ ಕೇನ ಭೂತಾನ್ ತ್ಯಾಜಯನ್ತಿ? ತಸ್ಮಾದ್ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಮ್ ಏತದ್ವಿಚಾರಯಿತಾರಸ್ತ ಏವ ಭವಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ|
28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.
ಕಿನ್ತವಹಂ ಯದೀಶ್ವರಾತ್ಮನಾ ಭೂತಾನ್ ತ್ಯಾಜಯಾಮಿ, ತರ್ಹೀಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ರಾಜ್ಯಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಮಾಗತವತ್|
29 Or how can anyone go into the house of the strong man and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then he can plunder the house.
ಅನ್ಯಞ್ಚ ಕೋಪಿ ಬಲವನ್ತ ಜನಂ ಪ್ರಥಮತೋ ನ ಬದ್ವ್ವಾ ಕೇನ ಪ್ರಕಾರೇಣ ತಸ್ಯ ಗೃಹಂ ಪ್ರವಿಶ್ಯ ತದ್ದ್ರವ್ಯಾದಿ ಲೋಠಯಿತುಂ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ? ಕಿನ್ತು ತತ್ ಕೃತ್ವಾ ತದೀಯಗೃಸ್ಯ ದ್ರವ್ಯಾದಿ ಲೋಠಯಿತುಂ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ|
30 “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.
ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿತ್ ಮಮ ಸ್ವಪಕ್ಷೀಯೋ ನಹಿ ಸ ವಿಪಕ್ಷೀಯ ಆಸ್ತೇ, ಯಶ್ಚ ಮಯಾ ಸಾಕಂ ನ ಸಂಗೃಹ್ಲಾತಿ, ಸ ವಿಕಿರತಿ|
31 Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven people.
ಅತಏವ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನಹಂ ವದಾಮಿ, ಮನುಜಾನಾಂ ಸರ್ವ್ವಪ್ರಕಾರಪಾಪಾನಾಂ ನಿನ್ದಾಯಾಶ್ಚ ಮರ್ಷಣಂ ಭವಿತುಂ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ, ಕಿನ್ತು ಪವಿತ್ರಸ್ಯಾತ್ಮನೋ ವಿರುದ್ಧನಿನ್ದಾಯಾ ಮರ್ಷಣಂ ಭವಿತುಂ ನ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ|
32 And whoever speaks a word against the Son of the Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in the present age nor in the next. (aiōn g165)
ಯೋ ಮನುಜಸುತಸ್ಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧಾಂ ಕಥಾಂ ಕಥಯತಿ, ತಸ್ಯಾಪರಾಧಸ್ಯ ಕ್ಷಮಾ ಭವಿತುಂ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ, ಕಿನ್ತು ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿತ್ ಪವಿತ್ರಸ್ಯಾತ್ಮನೋ ವಿರುದ್ಧಾಂ ಕಥಾಂ ಕಥಯತಿ ನೇಹಲೋಕೇ ನ ಪ್ರೇತ್ಯ ತಸ್ಯಾಪರಾಧಸ್ಯ ಕ್ಷಮಾ ಭವಿತುಂ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ| (aiōn g165)
33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree rotten and its fruit rotten; for the tree is known by the fruit.
ಪಾದಪಂ ಯದಿ ಭದ್ರಂ ವದಥ, ತರ್ಹಿ ತಸ್ಯ ಫಲಮಪಿ ಸಾಧು ವಕ್ತವ್ಯಂ, ಯದಿ ಚ ಪಾದಪಂ ಅಸಾಧುಂ ವದಥ, ತರ್ಹಿ ತಸ್ಯ ಫಲಮಪ್ಯಸಾಧು ವಕ್ತವ್ಯಂ; ಯತಃ ಸ್ವೀಯಸ್ವೀಯಫಲೇನ ಪಾದಪಃ ಪರಿಚೀಯತೇ|
34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being malignant, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
ರೇ ಭುಜಗವಂಶಾ ಯೂಯಮಸಾಧವಃ ಸನ್ತಃ ಕಥಂ ಸಾಧು ವಾಕ್ಯಂ ವಕ್ತುಂ ಶಕ್ಷ್ಯಥ? ಯಸ್ಮಾದ್ ಅನ್ತಃಕರಣಸ್ಯ ಪೂರ್ಣಭಾವಾನುಸಾರಾದ್ ವದನಾದ್ ವಚೋ ನಿರ್ಗಚ್ಛತಿ|
35 The good man out of the good reservoir brings forth good things, and the malignant man out of the malignant reservoir brings forth malignant things.
ತೇನ ಸಾಧುರ್ಮಾನವೋಽನ್ತಃಕರಣರೂಪಾತ್ ಸಾಧುಭಾಣ್ಡಾಗಾರಾತ್ ಸಾಧು ದ್ರವ್ಯಂ ನಿರ್ಗಮಯತಿ, ಅಸಾಧುರ್ಮಾನುಷಸ್ತ್ವಸಾಧುಭಾಣ್ಡಾಗಾರಾದ್ ಅಸಾಧುವಸ್ತೂನಿ ನಿರ್ಗಮಯತಿ|
36 Furthermore, I say to you that for every useless word whatever that people may speak, they will give account of it in the Day of judgment.
ಕಿನ್ತ್ವಹಂ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನ್ ವದಾಮಿ, ಮನುಜಾ ಯಾವನ್ತ್ಯಾಲಸ್ಯವಚಾಂಸಿ ವದನ್ತಿ, ವಿಚಾರದಿನೇ ತದುತ್ತರಮವಶ್ಯಂ ದಾತವ್ಯಂ,
37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
ಯತಸ್ತ್ವಂ ಸ್ವೀಯವಚೋಭಿ ರ್ನಿರಪರಾಧಃ ಸ್ವೀಯವಚೋಭಿಶ್ಚ ಸಾಪರಾಧೋ ಗಣಿಷ್ಯಸೇ|
38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees reacted saying, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”
ತದಾನೀಂ ಕತಿಪಯಾ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಾಃ ಫಿರೂಶಿನಶ್ಚ ಜಗದುಃ, ಹೇ ಗುರೋ ವಯಂ ಭವತ್ತಃ ಕಿಞ್ಚನ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮ ದಿದೃಕ್ಷಾಮಃ|
39 But in answer He said to them: “A malignant and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
ತದಾ ಸ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುಕ್ತವಾನ್, ದುಷ್ಟೋ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರೀ ಚ ವಂಶೋ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮ ಮೃಗಯತೇ, ಕಿನ್ತು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ್ವಾದಿನೋ ಯೂನಸೋ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮ ವಿಹಾಯಾನ್ಯತ್ ಕಿಮಪಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮ ತೇ ನ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಯಿಷ್ಯನ್ತೇ|
40 For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the stomach of the sea monster, so will the Son of the Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
ಯತೋ ಯೂನಮ್ ಯಥಾ ತ್ರ್ಯಹೋರಾತ್ರಂ ಬೃಹನ್ಮೀನಸ್ಯ ಕುಕ್ಷಾವಾಸೀತ್, ತಥಾ ಮನುಜಪುತ್ರೋಪಿ ತ್ರ್ಯಹೋರಾತ್ರಂ ಮೇದಿನ್ಯಾ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಸ್ಥಾಸ್ಯತಿ|
41 Ninevite men will arise with this generation at the judgment and will condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and really, a greater than Jonah is here.
ಅಪರಂ ನೀನಿವೀಯಾ ಮಾನವಾ ವಿಚಾರದಿನ ಏತದ್ವಂಶೀಯಾನಾಂ ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲಮ್ ಉತ್ಥಾಯ ತಾನ್ ದೋಷಿಣಃ ಕರಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ, ಯಸ್ಮಾತ್ತೇ ಯೂನಸ ಉಪದೇಶಾತ್ ಮನಾಂಸಿ ಪರಾವರ್ತ್ತಯಾಞ್ಚಕ್ರಿರೇ, ಕಿನ್ತ್ವತ್ರ ಯೂನಸೋಪಿ ಗುರುತರ ಏಕ ಆಸ್ತೇ|
42 The queen of the South will be raised with this generation at the judgment and she will condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and really, a greater than Solomon is here.
ಪುನಶ್ಚ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದೇಶೀಯಾ ರಾಜ್ಞೀ ವಿಚಾರದಿನ ಏತದ್ವಂಶೀಯಾನಾಂ ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲಮುತ್ಥಾಯ ತಾನ್ ದೋಷಿಣಃ ಕರಿಷ್ಯತಿ ಯತಃ ಸಾ ರಾಜ್ಞೀ ಸುಲೇಮನೋ ವಿದ್ಯಾಯಾಃ ಕಥಾಂ ಶ್ರೋತುಂ ಮೇದಿನ್ಯಾಃ ಸೀಮ್ನ ಆಗಚ್ಛತ್, ಕಿನ್ತು ಸುಲೇಮನೋಪಿ ಗುರುತರ ಏಕೋ ಜನೋಽತ್ರ ಆಸ್ತೇ|
43 “Now when an unclean spirit [demon] goes out from a man, it goes through arid places looking for rest, but finds none.
ಅಪರಂ ಮನುಜಾದ್ ಬಹಿರ್ಗತೋ ಽಪವಿತ್ರಭೂತಃ ಶುಷ್ಕಸ್ಥಾನೇನ ಗತ್ವಾ ವಿಶ್ರಾಮಂ ಗವೇಷಯತಿ, ಕಿನ್ತು ತದಲಭಮಾನಃ ಸ ವಕ್ತಿ, ಯಸ್ಮಾ; ನಿಕೇತನಾದ್ ಆಗಮಂ, ತದೇವ ವೇಶ್ಮ ಪಕಾವೃತ್ಯ ಯಾಮಿ|
44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from where I came.’ And coming it finds it unoccupied, swept and put in order.
ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ ಸ ತತ್ ಸ್ಥಾನಮ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಾಯ ತತ್ ಶೂನ್ಯಂ ಮಾರ್ಜ್ಜಿತಂ ಶೋಭಿತಞ್ಚ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ವ್ರಜನ್ ಸ್ವತೋಪಿ ದುಷ್ಟತರಾನ್ ಅನ್ಯಸಪ್ತಭೂತಾನ್ ಸಙ್ಗಿನಃ ಕರೋತಿ|
45 Then it goes and takes along with itself seven different spirits, more malignant than itself, and going in it dwells there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. Just so it will be for this malignant generation also.”
ತತಸ್ತೇ ತತ್ ಸ್ಥಾನಂ ಪ್ರವಿಶ್ಯ ನಿವಸನ್ತಿ, ತೇನ ತಸ್ಯ ಮನುಜಸ್ಯ ಶೇಷದಶಾ ಪೂರ್ವ್ವದಶಾತೋತೀವಾಶುಭಾ ಭವತಿ, ಏತೇಷಾಂ ದುಷ್ಟವಂಶ್ಯಾನಾಮಪಿ ತಥೈವ ಘಟಿಷ್ಯತೇ|
46 But then, while He was still speaking to the crowds, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him.
ಮಾನವೇಭ್ಯ ಏತಾಸಾಂ ಕಥನಾಂ ಕಥನಕಾಲೇ ತಸ್ಯ ಮಾತಾ ಸಹಜಾಶ್ಚ ತೇನ ಸಾಕಂ ಕಾಞ್ಚಿತ್ ಕಥಾಂ ಕಥಯಿತುಂ ವಾಞ್ಛನ್ತೋ ಬಹಿರೇವ ಸ್ಥಿತವನ್ತಃ|
47 So someone said to Him, “Look, your mother and your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with you.”
ತತಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿತ್ ತಸ್ಮೈ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್, ಪಶ್ಯ ತವ ಜನನೀ ಸಹಜಾಶ್ಚ ತ್ವಯಾ ಸಾಕಂ ಕಾಞ್ಚನ ಕಥಾಂ ಕಥಯಿತುಂ ಕಾಮಯಮಾನಾ ಬಹಿಸ್ತಿಷ್ಠನ್ತಿ|
48 But in answer He said to the one who told Him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”
ಕಿನ್ತು ಸ ತಂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವದತ್, ಮಮ ಕಾ ಜನನೀ? ಕೇ ವಾ ಮಮ ಸಹಜಾಃ?
49 And stretching out His hand toward His disciples He said: “Here are my mother and my brothers!
ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾನ್ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕರಂ ಪ್ರಸಾರ್ಯ್ಯ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್, ಪಶ್ಯ ಮಮ ಜನನೀ ಮಮ ಸಹಜಾಶ್ಚೈತೇ;
50 For whoever does the will of my Father in the heavens, he is my brother and sister and mother.”
ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿತ್ ಮಮ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಸ್ಥಸ್ಯ ಪಿತುರಿಷ್ಟಂ ಕರ್ಮ್ಮ ಕುರುತೇ, ಸಏವ ಮಮ ಭ್ರಾತಾ ಭಗಿನೀ ಜನನೀ ಚ|
