< Matthew 11 >

1 And so it was, when Jesus finished directing His twelve disciples, that He moved on from there to teach and preach in their towns.
A Yeshu bhakamaliyeje kwaalajiyanga bhaajiganywa bhabho likumi limo na bhabhili bhala, gubhajabhwilenje penepo, gubhapite jiganya na lunguya mwiilambo yabhonji.
2 But John, hearing in prison about the works of the Messiah, sent two of his disciples
A Yowana bhabhatisha bhali bhatabhilwe kuligelesha gubhapilikene ga itendi ya a Yeshu Kilishitu. Bhai, a Yowana gubhaatumilenje bhaajiganywa bhabho bhakaabhuyanje.
3 to say to Him, “Are you the Coming One, or do we look for another?”
Gubhaabhushiyenje, “Mmwe ni bhakwiya bhala, eu twaalindile bhana?”
4 By way of answer Jesus said to them: “Go and report to John the things that you hear and see:
A Yeshu gubhaajangwilenje, “Nnjendangane nkaalugulilanje a Yowana indu inkwipilikananga na inkwibhonanga,
5 blind regain sight and lame walk, lepers are cleansed and deaf hear, dead are raised and the poor are evangelized.
ashinangalole bhanalolanga na ashinangwabha bhanakwendanga na bhakwetenje mangundula bhanalamanga na ashinangapilikane bhanapilikananga na bhawilenje bhanayukanga na bhaalaga bhanalungushiwanga Ngani ja Mmbone.
6 And, blessed be whoever is not offended at Me!”
Mbaya mundu jojowe akalebha kwa ligongo lya leka ngulupalila nne.”
7 So as they departed Jesus began to say to the crowds concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see, a reed shaken by the wind?
Bhai, bhantenga bha a Yowana bhala bhalijabhulanga, a Yeshu gubhatandwibhe kwaabhalanjilanga makundi ga bhandu ngani ja a Yowana, “Mwashinkwendangana kuanga kulola nndi? Kulola litete lilitikinywa na mbungo?
8 But what did you go out to see, a man clothed in soft garments? Actually, those who wear soft material are in kings' houses.
Igala, mwapitengeneje kulola nndi? Mundu awete nngubho ya konja? Bhandu bhaawalanga nngubho ya konja mwaakutamanga nnyumba ya ashimpalume bha shilambo.
9 But really, what did you go out to see, a prophet? Yes, I tell you, and far more than a prophet.
Ikabheje, mwapiteneje lolanga nndi? Nkulondola jwa a Nnungu? Elo, ngunakummalanjilanga, mumweninji nkulungwa kupunda nkulondola jwa a Nnungu.
10 For this is he of whom it is written: ‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way ahead of you.’
“A Yowana ni bhantenga bhalugwilwe Mmajandiko ga Ukonjelo, ‘Nnole, ngunakuntuma muntenga jwangu annongolele, ashanng'alashiye mpanda gwenu.’
11 Assuredly I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisen a greater than John the Baptizer; but he who is least in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he.
Kweli ngunakummalanjilanga, akanabhe koposhela jwa nnibhondo ali jwankulungwa kwaapunda a Yowana bhabhatisha. Ikabheje, jwene ali jwanshoko Muupalume gwa Kunnungu, ni jwankulungwa kwaapunda bhenebho.
12 But from the days of John the Baptizer until now the kingdom of the heavens is being aggressive and aggressive people are seizing upon it.
Tandubhila mobha ga a Yowana bhabhatisha mpaka nnaino, Upalume gwa Kunnungu gunakomanilwa na bhandunji bhanalinganga kuutola kwa mashili na bhakwetenje mashili bhanakuutolanga.
13 For all the prophets and the Law prophesied until John,
Pabha ashinkulondola bha a Nnungu bhowe na Shalia, mpaka mobha ga a Yowana, bhashinkulondolanga ga gene mobha gano.
14 and if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come.
Bhai, monaga shinkundanje, a Yowanabho ni a Eliya bhapinjikwaga bhaishe.
15 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
Akwete makutujo apilikane.
16 “But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in a marketplace and calling to their friends
“Bhai, nandanye na nndi alu lubhelekolu? Malinga bhashanda bhatemingenenje kushoko, bhali kwaabhalanjilanga ashaajabhonji bhalinkutinji,
17 and saying, ‘We played the flute for you and you did not dance; we mourned for you and you did not lament.’
‘Twanngombelenje imbeta, ikabheje mwangainanga! Twajimbile nyimbo ya ililo, ikabheje mwangagutanga!’
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking and they say, ‘He has a demon’;
Pabha a Yowana bhaishe, bhakaalya wala papila, gubhashitenje, ‘Bhashikola lioka.’
19 the Son of the Man came eating and drinking and they say, ‘Just look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Indeed, wisdom is vindicated by her children.”
Mwana juka Mundu gwaishe, alilya na papila, gubhashitenje, ‘Mwaalolanje bhaakongolela kulya na kolelwa, ashaambwiga ajabho bhakamula koli na bhakwetenje yambi!’ Nkali nneyo lunda lwa a Nnungu lumanyishe kuti lwammbone kwa itendi yakwe.”
20 Then He began to reproach the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent.
Kungai a Yeshu gubhatandwibhe kwaagambanga bhandunji bha mwiilambo mubhatendile ilapo ya igwinji, pabha bhandu bhakwe bhangapinganga kwiipeta.
21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! Because if the mighty works that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
“Ole gwenunji bhandu bha ku Kolashini! Ole gwenunji bhandu bha ku Bhetishaida! Pabha, ilapo itendeshe kungwenunji monaga ikatendeshe ku Tilo na ku Shidoni, bhandu bhabhonji bhakaipetilenje kwa wala maguniya na pakala liu kuti bhaleshilenje yambi.
22 So I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the Day of judgment than for you!
Ikabheje, ngunakummalanjilanga, lyubha lya ukumu mmanganya nkupinga patanga mboteko ya punda ya bhandunji bha ku Tilo na ku Shidoni.
23 And you, Capernaum, ‘the one having been exalted to heaven’, you will be brought down to Hades! Because if the mighty works that were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. (Hadēs g86)
Na mmanganyanji bhandu bha ku Kapalanaumu, bhuli, shinkuywanje mpaka kunnungu? Nkupinga tuluywanga mpaka kundamo ja bhawilenje! Pabha, ilapo itendeshe kungwwenunji monaga ikatendeshe kubhandu bha ku Shodoma, shene shilambosho shikaapali mpaka lelo. (Hadēs g86)
24 So I say to you that it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the Day of judgment than for you.”
Ikabheje ngunakummalanjilanga, lyubha lya ukumu mmanganyanji nkupinga patanga mboteko ya punda ya bhandu ku Shodoma.”
25 At that time Jesus reacted and said: “‘I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to ‘babes’.
Gene malangago a Yeshu gubhashite, “Ngunatenda eja kwenu mmwe Atati, Mmakulungwa bha kunnungu na pa shilambolyo, pabha yene indui nshikwaiyanga bhakwetenje lunda na bhaashomanga, nikwaunukulilanga bhana bhashoko bhashoko.
26 Yes, Father, because thus it was good to You.’
Elo Atati, pabha shiishite kunnonyela mmayene.”
27 “All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one really knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone really know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son may will to reveal Him.
Gubhaabhalanjilenje bhandunji, “Atati bhashingamuya indu yowe. Jwakwapi akummanya mwana ikabhe Atati, wala akwaamanya Atati ikabhe Mwana, na jojowe apingaga Mwana kung'unukulila.
28 Come to me all you who are laboring and are loaded down, and I will give you rest.
“Nnjiyangananje mmowe nkuabhukanga na topelwa na mishigo, nne shinimpumuliyanje.
29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls;
Nkundanje kulongoywa na nne malinga ng'ombe atabhilwa lingongota, nkupinga mwiijiganyanje kwangu nne. Pabha nne najwakwiitimalika na najwashinunu, numbe mmanganyanji shimpumulilanje.
30 for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Pabha lingongota lyangu likaatona na nshigo gwangu ukaatopa.”
