Mark 9
1 And He said to them, “I tell you assuredly: there are some standing here who will certainly not taste death until they see the Kingdom of God present with power.”
Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich, Ich sage euch: Es sind etliche von denen, die hier stehen, die den Tod nicht schmecken werden, bis daß sie das Reich Gottes in Kraft kommen sehen.
2 After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John and led them up on a high mountain alone by themselves. Then He was transfigured in front of them;
Und nach sechs Tagen nahm Jesus Petrus, Jakobus und Johannes mit Sich und führte sie hinauf auf einen hohen Berg besonders alleine und verwandelte Sich vor ihnen.
3 His clothing became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth is able to whiten.
Und Seine Kleider wurden glänzend, ungemein weiß, wie der Schnee, daß sie kein Walker auf Erden kann so weiß machen.
4 And Elijah appeared to them, along with Moses, and they were conversing with Jesus.
Und es erschien ihnen Elias mit Moses, und sie unterredeten sich mit Jesus.
5 Well Peter reacted by saying to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; let us make three shelters: one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”
Und Petrus antwortete und sprach zu Jesus: Rabbi, hier ist gut sein für uns. Und lasset uns drei Hütten machen, Dir eine, Moses eine und Elias eine.
6 (Because they were terrified, he didn't know what to say.)
Denn er wußte nicht, was er redete; denn sie waren außer sich vor Furcht.
7 With that a cloud was covering them and a Voice came out of the cloud: “This is my Son, the beloved. Listen to Him!”
Und es ward eine Wolke, die überschattete sie, und aus der Wolke kam eine Stimme, die sprach: Dies ist Mein geliebter Sohn, Den höret!
8 And then, looking around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus.
Und plötzlich, da sie um sich blickten, sahen sie niemand mehr, sondern allein Jesus bei ihnen.
9 Now as they were coming down from the mountain, He ordered them not to recount to any one the things they had seen until the Son of the Man had risen from the dead.
Da sie aber vom Berge herabstiegen, verbot Er ihnen, jemand zu erzählen, was sie gesehen hatten, bis daß des Menschen Sohn von den Toten auferstanden wäre.
10 So they kept this word to themselves, questioning what the ‘rising from the dead’ meant.
Und sie behielten das Wort für sich und befragten sich, was dieses Auferstehen von den Toten sei.
11 And they asked Him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
Und sie fragten Ihn und sagten: Die Schriftgelehrten sagen, Elias müsse zuvor kommen.
12 So in answer He said to them: “Elijah indeed does come first, and restores all things; also how it is written concerning the Son of the Man that He must suffer many things and be treated with contempt.
Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Elias kommt zwar zuerst und stellt alles her. Und wie ist es geschrieben von des Menschen Sohn? - daß Er viel leiden und für nichts geachtet werden soll.
13 Still, I say to you that ‘Elijah’ has also come, and they did to him as they wished, as it is written about him.”
Aber Ich sage euch: Elias ist auch gekommen, und sie haben ihm getan, was sie wollten, wie von ihm geschrieben steht.
14 Upon coming to the disciples, He saw a large crowd around them, and scribes arguing with them.
Und als Er zu Seinen Jüngern kam, sah Er viel Gedränge um sie her und Schriftgelehrte, die sich mit ihnen befragten.
15 Well as soon as the crowd saw Him they were excited and ran to greet Him.
Und alsbald, da all das Gedränge Ihn sah, wurde ihnen bange, und sie liefen herbei und begrüßten Ihn.
16 He asked the scribes, “What are you discussing with them?”
Und Er fragte die Schriftgelehrten: Worüber befragt ihr euch mit ihnen?
17 In answer a man in the crowd said: “Teacher, I brought you my son, who has a mute spirit.
Und einer aus dem Gedränge antwortete und sprach: Lehrer, ich habe meinen Sohn zu Dir hergebracht, der hat einen sprachlosen Geist.
18 And wherever it seizes him it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth and gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. Indeed, I spoke to your disciples, that they might cast it out, but they could not.”
Und wo er ihn übernimmt, reißt er ihn, und er schäumt und knirscht mit den Zähnen und zehret ab. Und ich sprach mit Deinen Jüngern, daß sie ihn austrieben, und sie vermochten es nicht.
19 But He answered him by saying: “O unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you, how long shall I put up with you? Bring him to me!”
Er aber antwortete ihm und sprach: O du ungläubig Geschlecht, wie lange soll Ich bei euch sein? Wie lange soll Ich euch ertragen? Bringt ihn her zu Mir!
20 So they brought him to Him. Upon seeing Him the spirit convulsed him, and falling to the ground he started wallowing, foaming at the mouth.
Und sie brachten ihn zu Ihm. Und als er Ihn sah, zerrte der Geist ihn alsbald, und er fiel zu Erde, wälzte sich und schäumte.
21 Then He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said: “From childhood.
Und Er fragte seinen Vater: Wie lange Zeit ist es, daß das mit ihm geworden? Er aber sprach: Von Kind auf.
22 Really, it has often thrown him both into fire and into water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
Und oft hat er ihn ins Feuer und ins Wasser geworfen, daß er ihn umbrächte. Wenn Du aber kannst, so hilf uns und erbarme Dich unser.
23 Jesus said to him, “It's ‘if you can believe’; all things are possible to the one who believes.”
Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Wenn du glauben könntest! Alle Dinge sind möglich für den, der da glaubt!
24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”
Und alsbald schrie der Vater des Knäbleins mit Tränen und sprach: Ich glaube, Herr, hilf meinem Unglauben!
25 When Jesus saw that the crowd was running up, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I am commanding you, get out of him and never enter him again!”
Da aber Jesus sah, daß das Gedränge zusammenlief, bedrohte Er den unreinen Geist und sprach zu ihm: Du sprachloser und tauber Geist, Ich befehle dir, gehe aus von ihm, und geh nimmer in ihn ein!
26 Then it yelled, convulsed him violently, and came out. Well he looked to be dead; so much so that many said, “He's dead.”
Und er schrie und zerrte ihn sehr und ging aus. Und er ward wie tot, so daß viele sagten: Er ist gestorben!
27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he stayed on his feet.
Jesus aber ergriff ihn bei der Hand und richtete ihn auf; und er stand auf.
28 Well upon His entering a house His disciples asked Him privately, “Why couldn't we cast it out?”
Und als Er ins Haus einging, fragten Ihn Seine Jünger besonders: Warum konnten wir ihn nicht austreiben?
29 He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing except prayer and fasting.”
Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Diese Art kann nicht anders als durch Gebet und Fasten ausgehen.
30 Having gone out from there they were passing through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know;
Und von dannen gingen sie aus und zogen hin durch Galiläa, und Er wollte nicht, daß es jemand wisse.
31 because He was teaching His disciples and saying to them, “The Son of the Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill him; and once killed he will rise on the third day.”
Denn Er belehrte Seine Jünger und sagte ihnen: Des Menschen Sohn wird in der Menschen Hände überantwortet werden, und sie werden Ihn töten, und nachdem Er getötet worden, wird Er am dritten Tage auferstehen.
32 But they were not understanding this information, yet were afraid to ask Him.
Sie aber verstanden die Rede nicht und fürchteten sich, Ihn zu fragen.
33 Then He came to Capernaum; and once in the house He asked them, “What were you debating among yourselves on the road?”
Und Er kam nach Kapernaum; und als Er zu Hause war, fragte Er sie: Worüber besprachet ihr euch miteinander auf dem Wege?
34 But they kept silent, because on the road they had debated among themselves who was greater.
Sie aber schwiegen stille; denn sie hatten auf dem Wege unter sich besprochen, welcher der Größte wäre.
35 So He sat down, called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”
Und Er setzte Sich, rief die Zwölfe und sprach zu ihnen: So einer will der Erste sein, der soll der Letzte von allen und aller Diener sein.
36 Then He took a child and stood him in their midst, and embracing him said to them,
Und Er nahm ein Kindlein, stellte es mitten unter sie, und schloß es in Seine Arme und sprach zu ihnen:
37 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives not only me, but the One who sent me.”
Wer eines dieser Kindlein aufnimmt in Meinem Namen, der nimmt Mich auf, und wer Mich aufnimmt, der nimmt nicht Mich auf, sondern Den, Der Mich gesandt hat.
38 So John answered Him saying, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, one who doesn't follow us; and we forbade him, because he doesn't follow us.”
Johannes aber antwortete Ihm und sprach: Lehrer, wir sahen einen, der trieb in Deinem Namen Dämonen aus, der uns nicht nachfolgt, und wir wehrten es ihm, darum daß er uns nicht nachfolgt.
39 But Jesus said: “Do not forbid him, because no one who works a miracle in my name can soon afterward speak evil of me.
Jesus aber sprach: Wehret ihm nicht; denn es ist keiner, der in Meinem Namen Wundertaten tut, und wird bald Böses von Mir sprechen.
40 For he who is not against you is for you.
Denn wer nicht wider uns ist, der ist für uns.
41 Further, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ's, I tell you with certainty, he will by no means lose his reward.
Denn wer euch tränket mit einem Kelche Wasser in Meinem Namen, weil ihr des Christus seid, wahrlich, Ich sage euch, er wird seinen Lohn nicht verlieren.
42 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe into me to fall, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.
Wer aber einem der Kleinen, die an Mich glauben, Ärgernis gibt, dem wäre besser, daß ihm ein Mühlstein um seinen Hals umgehängt und er ins Meer geworfen würde.
43 Further, if your hand is causing you to fall, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into the Life maimed than having both hands to go away into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire— (Geenna g1067)
Und so dich deine Hand ärgert, so haue sie ab. Es ist dir besser, daß du ein Krüppel zum Leben eingehest, denn daß du zwei Hände habest und in die Hölle ins unauslöschliche Feuer weggehest. (Geenna g1067)
44 where ‘their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
Wo ihr Wurm nicht stirbt und das Feuer nicht erlischt.
45 And if your foot is causing you to fall, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into the Life lame than having both feet to be thrown into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire— (Geenna g1067)
Und ärgert dich dein Fuß, so haue ihn ab. Es ist dir besser, daß du lahm zum Leben eingehest, denn daß du zwei Füße habest, und werdest in die Hölle ins unauslöschliche Feuer geworfen, (Geenna g1067)
46 where ‘their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
Wo ihr Wurm nicht stirbt und das Feuer nicht erlischt.
47 And if your eye is causing you to fall, pluck it out; it is better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God with one eye than having both eyes to be thrown into the Gehenna of fire— (Geenna g1067)
Und ärgert dich dein Auge, so wirf es aus. Es ist dir besser, daß du einäugig ins Reich Gottes eingehest, denn daß du zwei Augen habest, und werdest in die Hölle des Feuers geworfen. (Geenna g1067)
48 where ‘the worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
Wo ihr Wurm nicht stirbt und das Feuer nicht erlischt.
49 “Further, everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.
Denn ein jeglicher soll mit Feuer gesalzen, und alles Opfer mit Salz gesalzen werden.
50 Salt is good, but if the salt loses its saltiness, with what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
Das Salz ist gut, wenn aber das Salz salzlos wird, womit wollet ihr es würzen? Habt Salz in euch und habt Frieden miteinander!
