Mark 9
1 And He said to them, “I tell you assuredly: there are some standing here who will certainly not taste death until they see the Kingdom of God present with power.”
Եւ ըսաւ անոնց. «Ճշմա՛րտապէս կը յայտարարեմ ձեզի. “Հոս ներկայ եղողներէն կան ոմանք՝ որ մահ պիտի չհամտեսեն, մինչեւ որ տեսնեն Աստուծոյ թագաւորութիւնը՝ զօրութեամբ եկած”»:
2 After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John and led them up on a high mountain alone by themselves. Then He was transfigured in front of them;
Վեց օր ետք՝ Յիսուս առաւ իրեն հետ Պետրոսը, Յակոբոսն ու Յովհաննէսը, հանեց զանոնք բարձր լեռ մը՝ առանձին, եւ այլակերպեցաւ անոնց առջեւ:
3 His clothing became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth is able to whiten.
Իր հանդերձները փայլուն, չափազանց ճերմակ եղան՝ ձիւնի պէս, այնպէս որ երկրի վրայ ո՛չ մէկ թափիչ կրնար այդպէս ճերմկցնել:
4 And Elijah appeared to them, along with Moses, and they were conversing with Jesus.
Ու Եղիա երեւցաւ անոնց՝ Մովսէսի հետ, եւ կը խօսակցէին Յիսուսի հետ:
5 Well Peter reacted by saying to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; let us make three shelters: one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”
Ապա Պետրոս ըսաւ Յիսուսի. «Ռաբբի՛, լաւ է որ կենանք հոս եւ շինենք երեք վրան, մէկը՝ քեզի, մէկը՝ Մովսէսի ու մէկը՝ Եղիայի».
6 (Because they were terrified, he didn't know what to say.)
որովհետեւ չէր գիտեր թէ ի՛նչ կը խօսի, քանի որ զարհուրած էին:
7 With that a cloud was covering them and a Voice came out of the cloud: “This is my Son, the beloved. Listen to Him!”
Ամպ մը հովանի եղաւ անոնց վրայ, եւ ձայն մը եկաւ ամպէն՝ ըսելով. «Ա՛յս է իմ սիրելի Որդիս, անո՛ր մտիկ ըրէք»:
8 And then, looking around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus.
Յանկարծ, երբ իրենց շուրջը նայեցան, ուրիշ ո՛չ մէկը տեսան, հապա միայն Յիսուսը՝ իրենց հետ:
9 Now as they were coming down from the mountain, He ordered them not to recount to any one the things they had seen until the Son of the Man had risen from the dead.
Երբ վար կ՚իջնէին լեռնէն, պատուիրեց անոնց՝ որ ո՛չ մէկուն պատմեն իրենց տեսածը, բայց միայն՝ մարդու Որդիին մեռելներէն յարութիւն առնելէն ետք:
10 So they kept this word to themselves, questioning what the ‘rising from the dead’ meant.
Անոնք պահեցին այդ խօսքը, ու կը հարցնէին իրարու թէ ի՛նչ կը նշանակէ “մեռելներէն յարութիւն առնել”:
11 And they asked Him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
Եւ հարցուցին իրեն. «Ինչո՞ւ դպիրները կ՚ըսեն թէ “պէտք է որ նախ Եղիա գայ”»:
12 So in answer He said to them: “Elijah indeed does come first, and restores all things; also how it is written concerning the Son of the Man that He must suffer many things and be treated with contempt.
Ան ալ պատասխանեց անոնց. «Արդարեւ նախ Եղիա կու գայ ու կը վերահաստատէ ամէն բան. ի՛նչպէս գրուած է մարդու Որդիին մասին՝ թէ պէտք է շատ չարչարանքներ կրէ եւ անարգուի:
13 Still, I say to you that ‘Elijah’ has also come, and they did to him as they wished, as it is written about him.”
Բայց կ՚ըսեմ ձեզի թէ Եղիա եկաւ ալ, ու ինչ որ ուզեցին՝ ըրին անոր, ինչպէս գրուած էր իր մասին»:
14 Upon coming to the disciples, He saw a large crowd around them, and scribes arguing with them.
Աշակերտներուն քով գալով՝ տեսաւ մեծ բազմութիւն մը անոնց շուրջը, ու դպիրներ՝ որ կը վիճաբանէին անոնց հետ:
15 Well as soon as the crowd saw Him they were excited and ran to greet Him.
Իսկոյն ամբողջ բազմութիւնը՝ երբ տեսաւ զայն՝ շատ այլայլեցաւ, եւ յառաջ վազելով զայն կը բարեւէր:
16 He asked the scribes, “What are you discussing with them?”
Յիսուս հարցուց դպիրներուն. «Ի՞նչ բանի մասին կը վիճաբանէիք անոնց հետ:
17 In answer a man in the crowd said: “Teacher, I brought you my son, who has a mute spirit.
Բազմութենէն մէկը պատասխանեց. «Վարդապե՛տ, որդիս՝ որ համր ոգի ունի՝ քեզի բերի:
18 And wherever it seizes him it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth and gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. Indeed, I spoke to your disciples, that they might cast it out, but they could not.”
Ո՛ւր որ ալ բռնէ զայն՝ գետին կը զարնէ՝՝ զայն. ինք ալ կը փրփրի, իր ակռաները կը կրճտէ եւ կը ցամքի: Քու աշակերտներուդ ըսի որ հանեն զայն, բայց չկրցան»:
19 But He answered him by saying: “O unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you, how long shall I put up with you? Bring him to me!”
Ինք ալ պատասխանեց անոնց. «Ո՛վ անհաւատ սերունդ, մինչեւ ե՞րբ պիտի ըլլամ ձեզի հետ, մինչեւ ե՞րբ պիտի հանդուրժեմ ձեզի. ինծի՛ բերէք զայն»:
20 So they brought him to Him. Upon seeing Him the spirit convulsed him, and falling to the ground he started wallowing, foaming at the mouth.
Իրեն բերին զայն: Երբ տղան տեսաւ զինք, իսկոյն չար ոգին ցնցեց զայն, եւ գետին ինկած՝ կը թաւալէր ու կը փրփրէր:
21 Then He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said: “From childhood.
Յիսուս հարցուց անոր հօր. «Ո՞րչափ ատեն է՝ որ այդ բանը պատահեցաւ անոր»: Ան ալ ըսաւ. «Մանկութենէն ի վեր:
22 Really, it has often thrown him both into fire and into water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
Յաճախ կրակի ու ջուրի մէջ կը նետէ զայն՝ որպէսզի կորսնցնէ. բայց եթէ կարողութիւն ունիս՝ օգնէ՛ մեզի, գթալով մեր վրայ»:
23 Jesus said to him, “It's ‘if you can believe’; all things are possible to the one who believes.”
Յիսուս ըսաւ անոր. «Եթէ կրնաս հաւատալ. ամէն բան կարելի է անոր՝ որ կը հաւատայ»:
24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”
Իսկոյն մանուկին հայրը աղաղակեց եւ արցունքով ըսաւ. «Կը հաւատա՛մ, Տէ՛ր. օգնէ՛ իմ անհաւատութեանս»:
25 When Jesus saw that the crowd was running up, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You mute and deaf spirit, I am commanding you, get out of him and never enter him again!”
Յիսուս՝ երբ տեսաւ թէ բազմութիւնը կը խռնուի շուրջը, սաստեց անմաքուր ոգին եւ ըսաւ անոր. «Հա՛մր ու խո՛ւլ ոգի, կը հրամայեմ քեզի, ելի՛ր ատկէ, եւ անգա՛մ մըն ալ մի՛ մտներ անոր մէջ»:
26 Then it yelled, convulsed him violently, and came out. Well he looked to be dead; so much so that many said, “He's dead.”
Ոգին աղաղակելով՝ սաստիկ ցնցեց զայն ու ելաւ. եւ տղան մեռելի պէս եղաւ, այնպէս որ շատեր ըսին. «Մեռա՛ւ»:
27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he stayed on his feet.
Իսկ Յիսուս անոր ձեռքէն բռնելով՝ ոտքի հանեց զայն, ան ալ կանգնեցաւ:
28 Well upon His entering a house His disciples asked Him privately, “Why couldn't we cast it out?”
Երբ ինք տուն մտաւ, իր աշակերտները առանձին հարցուցին իրեն. «Մե՛նք ինչո՞ւ չկրցանք հանել զայն»:
29 He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing except prayer and fasting.”
Ըսաւ անոնց. «Այդ տեսակը կարելի չէ ուրիշ բանով հանել, բայց միայն աղօթքով ու ծոմապահութեամբ»:
30 Having gone out from there they were passing through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know;
Անկէ մեկնելով՝ Գալիլեայի մէջէն կ՚անցնէին, եւ չէր ուզեր որ մէ՛կը գիտնայ.
31 because He was teaching His disciples and saying to them, “The Son of the Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill him; and once killed he will rise on the third day.”
որովհետեւ կը սորվեցնէր իր աշակերտներուն ու կ՚ըսէր անոնց. «Մարդու Որդին պիտի մատնուի մարդոց ձեռքը, պիտի սպաննեն զայն, ու երբ սպաննուի՝ յարութիւն պիտի առնէ երրորդ օրը»:
32 But they were not understanding this information, yet were afraid to ask Him.
Անոնք չէին հասկնար այդ խօսքը, եւ կը վախնային հարցնել իրեն:
33 Then He came to Capernaum; and once in the house He asked them, “What were you debating among yourselves on the road?”
Եկաւ Կափառնայում. ու երբ տուն մտաւ՝ հարցուց անոնց. «Ի՞նչ բանի մասին կը մտածէիք ճամբան՝ իրարու հետ»:
34 But they kept silent, because on the road they had debated among themselves who was greater.
Անոնք լուռ կեցան, որովհետեւ ճամբան վիճաբանած էին իրարու հետ՝ թէ ո՛վ է մեծագոյնը:
35 So He sat down, called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”
Երբ նստաւ, կանչեց տասներկուքը եւ ըսաւ անոնց. «Եթէ մէկը ուզէ առաջին ըլլալ, բոլորին յետի՛նը թող ըլլայ, ու բոլորին սպասարկուն»:
36 Then He took a child and stood him in their midst, and embracing him said to them,
Եւ առաւ մանուկ մը, կայնեցուց անոնց մէջտեղ, ապա իր գիրկը առնելով զայն՝ ըսաւ անոնց.
37 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives not only me, but the One who sent me.”
«Ո՛վ որ կ՚ընդունի այսպիսի մանուկներէն մէկը՝ իմ անունովս, զի՛ս կ՚ընդունի. եւ ո՛վ որ զիս կ՚ընդունի, ո՛չ թէ զի՛ս կ՚ընդունի, հապա՝ զիս ղրկո՛ղը»:
38 So John answered Him saying, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, one who doesn't follow us; and we forbade him, because he doesn't follow us.”
Յովհաննէս ըսաւ անոր. «Վարդապե՛տ, տեսանք մէկը որ դեւեր կը հանէր քու անունովդ, բայց մեզի չի հետեւիր: Արգիլեցինք զայն, քանի որ մեզի չի հետեւիր»:
39 But Jesus said: “Do not forbid him, because no one who works a miracle in my name can soon afterward speak evil of me.
Յիսուս ըսաւ. «Մի՛ արգիլէք զայն, որովհետեւ չկայ մէկը՝ որ իմ անունովս հրաշք գործէ, ու կարենայ շուտով զիս անիծել.
40 For he who is not against you is for you.
ա՛ն որ մեզի հակառակ չէ, մեր՝՝ կողմէն է:
41 Further, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ's, I tell you with certainty, he will by no means lose his reward.
Ա՛ն որ ձեզի գաւաթ մը ջուր խմցնէ իմ անունովս՝՝, քանի որ դուք Քրիստոսի կը պատկանիք, ճշմա՛րտապէս կը յայտարարեմ ձեզի. “Անիկա իր վարձատրութիւնը պիտի չկորսնցնէ”»:
42 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe into me to fall, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.
«Ո՛վ որ գայթակղեցնէ այս պզտիկներէն մէկը՝ որ ինծի կը հաւատայ, աւելի լաւ պիտի ըլլար՝ որ ջաղացքի քար մը կախուէր անոր վիզէն, եւ ծովը նետուէր:
43 Further, if your hand is causing you to fall, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into the Life maimed than having both hands to go away into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire— (Geenna g1067)
Եթէ ձեռքդ կը գայթակղեցնէ քեզ՝ կտրէ՛ զայն. աւելի լաւ է քեզի՝ պակասաւո՛ր մտնել կեանքը, քան երկու ձեռք ունենալ ու երթալ գեհենը՝ անշէջ կրակին մէջ, (Geenna g1067)
44 where ‘their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
ուր անոնց որդը չի վախճանիր եւ կրակը չի մարիր:
45 And if your foot is causing you to fall, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into the Life lame than having both feet to be thrown into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire— (Geenna g1067)
Եթէ ոտքդ կը գայթակղեցնէ քեզ՝ կտրէ՛ զայն. աւելի լաւ է քեզի՝ կա՛ղ մտնել կեանքը, քան երկու ոտք ունենալ ու նետուիլ գեհենը՝ անշէջ կրակին մէջ, (Geenna g1067)
46 where ‘their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
ուր անոնց որդը չի վախճանիր եւ կրակը չի մարիր:
47 And if your eye is causing you to fall, pluck it out; it is better for you to enter into the Kingdom of God with one eye than having both eyes to be thrown into the Gehenna of fire— (Geenna g1067)
Եթէ աչքդ կը գայթակղեցնէ քեզ՝ հանէ՛ զայն. աւելի լաւ է քեզի՝ մէ՛կ աչքով մտնել Աստուծոյ թագաւորութիւնը, քան երկու աչք ունենալ ու նետուիլ գեհենի կրակը, (Geenna g1067)
48 where ‘the worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.’
ուր անոնց որդը չի վախճանիր եւ կրակը չի մարիր:
49 “Further, everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.
Որովհետեւ իւրաքանչիւրը կրակո՛վ պիտի աղուի, ու ամէն զոհ աղո՛վ պիտի աղուի:
50 Salt is good, but if the salt loses its saltiness, with what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
Աղը լաւ է. բայց եթէ աղը դառնայ անհամ, ինչո՞վ պիտի համեմէք զայն. ձեր մէջ ա՛ղ ունեցէք, եւ իրարու հետ խաղա՛ղ եղէք»:
