Mark 3
1 Another time He went into the synagogue, and there was a man there with a withered hand.
E outra vez entrou na sinagoga, e estava ali um homem que tinha uma das mãos mirrada.
2 So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him.
E estavam observando-o se curaria no sábado, para o acusarem.
3 Well, He says to the man with the withered hand, “Come out in the middle!”
E disse ao homem que tinha a mão seca: Levanta-te para o meio.
4 Then He said to them: “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent.
E disse-lhes: É lícito no sábado fazer bem, ou fazer mal? salvar a vida, ou matar? E eles calavam-se.
5 After looking around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardness of their hearts, He says to the man, “Stretch out your hand!” So he stretched, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other!
E, olhando para eles em redor com indignação, condoendo-se da dureza do seu coração, disse ao homem: Estende a tua mão. E ele a estendeu, e foi-lhe restituida a sua mão, sã como a outra.
6 Then the Pharisees went straight out, and with the Herodians started hatching a plot against Him, how they might destroy Him.
E, tendo saído os fariseus, tomaram logo conselho com os herodianos contra ele, como o matariam.
7 Jesus withdrew with His disciples to the sea; and a large crowd from Galilee followed Him—also from Judea,
E retirou-se Jesus com os seus discípulos para o mar, e seguia-o uma grande multidão da Galiléia e da Judeia,
8 from Jerusalem, from Idumea and beyond Jordan; even those around Tyre and Sidon. A huge crowd came to Him, having heard the sorts of things He kept doing.
E de Jerusalém, e da Idumea, e de além do Jordão; e de perto de Tiro e Sidon uma grande multidão, ouvindo quão grandes coisas fazia, veem ter com ele.
9 So He told His disciples that a small boat should be kept ready for Him because of the crowd, lest they should press in on Him.
E disse aos seus discípulos que lhe tivessem sempre pronto um barquinho junto dele, por causa da multidão, para que o não oprimisse,
10 Because He had healed many, so that as many as had afflictions were pushing toward Him so as to touch Him.
Porque tinha curado a muitos, de tal maneira que todos quantos tinham algum mal se arrojavam sobre ele, para o tocarem.
11 And the unclean spirits—whenever one saw Him, he would fall down before Him and cry out, saying, “You are the son of God!”
E os espíritos imundos, vendo-o, prostravam-se diante dele, e clamavam, dizendo: Tu és o Filho de Deus.
12 And He kept giving them strict orders that they should not make Him known.
E ele os ameaçava muito, para que não o manifestassem.
13 He went up on the mountain and summoned those whom He wanted, and they came to Him.
E subiu ao monte, e chamou para si os que ele quis; e vieram a ele.
14 He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach
E ordenou aos doze que estivessem com ele, para que os mandasse a pregar,
15 —also to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:
E para que tivessem o poder de curar as enfermidades e expulsar os demônios:
16 namely Peter (a name He gave to Simon);
A Simão, a quem pôs o nome de Pedro,
17 James son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James (and a name He gave to them was Boanerges, that is, ‘Sons of thunder’);
E a Thiago, filho de Zebedeo, e a João, irmão de Thiago, aos quais pôs o nome de Boanerges, que significa: Filhos do trovão;
18 Andrew, Phillip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Cananite;
E a André, e a Felipe, e a bartolomeo, e a Mateus, e a Tomé, e a Thiago, filho de Alfeo, e a Thadeo, e a Simão, o Cananeo,
19 and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.
E a Judas Iscariotes, o que o entregou.
20 Then they went into a house; and again a multitude gathered, so that they were not even able to eat bread.
E foram para casa. E ajuntou-se outra vez a multidão, de tal maneira que nem sequer podiam comer pão.
21 Well upon hearing this His family came to apprehend Him, because they were saying, “He is out of his mind!”
E, quando os seus ouviram isto, sairam para o prender; porque diziam: Está fora de si.
22 Then some scribes who had come down from Jerusalem started saying, “He has Beelzebul,” and “It is by the ruler of the demons that he casts out demons.”
E os escribas, que tinham descido de Jerusalém, diziam: Tem Beelzebu, e pelo príncipe dos demônios expulsa os demônios.
23 So summoning them He started saying to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?
E, chamando-os a si, disse-lhes por parábolas: Como pode Satanás expulsar Satanás?
24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
E, se um reino se dividir contra si mesmo, tal reino não pode subsistir.
25 And if a household is divided against itself, that household cannot stand.
E, se uma casa se dividir contra si mesma, tal casa não pode subsistir.
26 And if Satan has risen up against himself and become divided, he cannot stand, but is finished.
E, se Satanás se levantar contra si mesmo, e for dividido, não pode subsistir; antes tem fim.
27 No one can plunder the strong man's goods, invading his house, unless he first binds the strong man—then he may plunder the house.
Ninguém pode roubar as alfaias do valente, entrando-lhe em sua casa, se primeiro não manietar o valente; e então roubará a sua casa.
28 “Assuredly I say to you: all the sins of the sons of men can be forgiven, including whatever blasphemies they may utter;
Na verdade vos digo que todos os pecados serão perdoados aos filhos dos homens, e toda a sorte de blasfêmias, com que blasfemarem;
30 —because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”
(Porque diziam: Tem espírito immundo.)
31 Then His brothers and His mother came, and standing outside they sent to Him, calling Him.
Chegaram então seus irmãos e sua mãe, e, estando de fora, enviaram a ele, chamando-o.
32 A crowd was sitting around Him; so they said to Him, “Look, your mother and your brothers and your sisters are outside asking for you.”
E a multidão estava assentada ao redor dele, e disseram-lhe: Eis que tua mãe e teus irmãos te buscam lá fora.
33 He answered them saying, “Who is my mother or my brothers?”
E ele lhes respondeu, dizendo: Quem é minha mãe e meus irmãos?
34 And looking around at those seated in a circle around Him He said: “Behold my mother and my brothers!
E, olhando em redor para os que estavam assentados junto dele, disse: Eis aqui minha mãe e meus irmãos.
35 Because whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, my sister, my mother.”
Porque qualquer que fizer a vontade de Deus esse é meu irmão, e minha irmã, e minha mãe.
