Luke 17
1 Then He said to the disciples: “Things that cause people to fall are bound to come, but woe to him through whom they do come!
İsa öğrencilerine şöyle dedi: “İnsanı günaha düşüren tuzakların olması kaçınılmazdır. Ama bu tuzaklara aracılık eden kişinin vay haline!
2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to fall.
Böyle bir kişi bu küçüklerden birini günaha düşüreceğine, boynuna bir değirmen taşı geçirilip denize atılsa, kendisi için daha iyi olur.
3 Watch out for yourselves: if your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
Yaşantınıza dikkat edin! Kardeşiniz günah işlerse, onu azarlayın; tövbe ederse, bağışlayın.
4 Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in that day returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
Günde yedi kez size karşı günah işler ve yedi kez size gelip, ‘Tövbe ediyorum’ derse, onu bağışlayın.”
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
Elçiler Rab'be, “İmanımızı artır!” dediler.
6 So the Lord said: “If you had faith like a mustard seed has, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
Rab şöyle dedi: “Bir hardal tanesi kadar imanınız olsa, şu dut ağacına, ‘Kökünden sökül ve denizin içine dikil’ dersiniz, o da sözünüzü dinler.
7 “And which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he comes in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline to eat’?
“Hanginizin çift süren ya da çobanlık eden bir kölesi olur da, tarladan dönüşünde ona, ‘Çabuk gel, sofraya otur’ der?
8 Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, and gird yourself and serve me until I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’?
Tersine ona, ‘Yemeğimi hazırla, kuşağını bağla, ben yiyip içerken bana hizmet et. Sonra sen yiyip içersin’ demez mi?
9 Does he thank that slave because he did the things commanded? I guess not!
Verdiği buyrukları yerine getirdi diye köleye teşekkür eder mi?
10 So likewise you, whenever you have done everything you were told to do, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves, because we have only done what we were supposed to.’”
Siz de böylece, size verilen buyrukların hepsini yerine getirdikten sonra, ‘Biz değersiz kullarız; sadece yapmamız gerekeni yaptık’ deyin.”
11 Now as He was traveling toward Jerusalem, He went along between Samaria and Galilee.
Yeruşalim'e doğru yoluna devam eden İsa, Samiriye ile Celile arasındaki sınır bölgesinden geçiyordu.
12 And as He entered a certain village, ten men met Him—being lepers they stood at a distance.
Köyün birine girerken O'nu cüzamlı on adam karşıladı. Bunlar uzakta durarak, “İsa, Efendimiz, halimize acı!” diye seslendiler.
13 They called out, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 And paying attention He said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” It happened that as they went they were cleansed!
İsa onları görünce, “Gidin, kâhinlere görünün” dedi. Adamlar yolda giderken cüzamdan temizlendiler.
15 Well one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, glorifying God with a loud voice;
Onlardan biri, iyileştiğini görünce yüksek sesle Tanrı'yı yücelterek geri döndü, yüzüstü İsa'nın ayaklarına kapanıp O'na teşekkür etti. Bu adam Samiriyeli'ydi.
16 then he fell on his face at His feet, thanking Him—and he was a Samaritan!
17 So Jesus reacted by saying: “Were not all ten cleansed? So where are the nine?
İsa, “İyileşenler on kişi değil miydi?” diye sordu. “Öbür dokuzu nerede?
18 None were found to return and give glory to God except this foreigner!”
Tanrı'yı yüceltmek için bu yabancıdan başka geri dönen olmadı mı?”
19 Then He said to him, “Get up and go; your faith has made you well.”
Sonra adama, “Ayağa kalk, git” dedi. “İmanın seni kurtardı.”
20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said: “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation;
Ferisiler İsa'ya, “Tanrı'nın Egemenliği ne zaman gelecek?” diye sordular. İsa onlara şöyle yanıt verdi: “Tanrı'nın Egemenliği göze görünür bir şekilde gelmez.
21 nor will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ because indeed the Kingdom of God is within you.”
İnsanlar da, ‘İşte burada’ ya da, ‘İşte şurada’ demeyecekler. Çünkü Tanrı'nın Egemenliği aranızdadır.”
22 Then He said to the disciples: “Days are coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of the Man, and you will not see it.
İsa öğrencilerine şöyle dedi: “Öyle günler gelecek ki, İnsanoğlu'nun günlerinden birini görmeyi özleyeceksiniz, ama görmeyeceksiniz.
23 And they will say to you, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Do not go along or follow.
İnsanlar size, ‘İşte orada’, ‘İşte burada’ diyecekler. Gitmeyin, onların arkasından koşmayın.
24 Because just like the lightning that lights the whole sky when it flashes, so also will the Son of the Man be in His day.
Şimşek çakıp göğü bir ucundan öbür ucuna dek nasıl aydınlatırsa, İnsanoğlu kendi gününde öyle olacaktır.
25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
Ama önce O'nun çok acı çekmesi ve bu kuşak tarafından reddedilmesi gerekir.
26 Also, just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it also be in the days of the Son of the Man.
“Nuh'un günlerinde nasıl olduysa, İnsanoğlu'nun günlerinde de öyle olacak.
27 They were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
Nuh'un gemiye bindiği güne dek insanlar yiyip içiyor, evlenip evlendiriliyorlardı. Sonra tufan gelip hepsini yok etti.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building—
Lut'un günlerinde de durum aynıydı. İnsanlar yiyip içiyor, alıp satıyor, tohum ekiyor, ev yapıyorlardı.
29 but on the day Lot went out from Sodom, fire and brimstone rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
Ama Lut'un Sodom'dan ayrıldığı gün gökten ateşle kükürt yağdı ve hepsini yok etti.
30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of the Man is revealed.
“İnsanoğlu'nun ortaya çıkacağı gün durum aynı olacaktır.
31 “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to get them; and likewise he who is in the field, let him not turn back.
O gün damda olan, evdeki eşyalarını almak için aşağı inmesin. Tarlada olan da geri dönmesin.
32 Remember Lot's wife!
Lut'un karısına olanları hatırlayın!
33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever ‘wastes’ it will preserve it.
Canını esirgemek isteyen onu yitirecek. Canını yitiren ise onu yaşatacaktır.
34 I tell you: on that night there will be two men in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
Size şunu söyleyeyim, o gece aynı yatakta olan iki kişiden biri alınacak, öbürü bırakılacak.
35 Two women will be grinding together; one will be taken and the other left.”
Birlikte buğday öğüten iki kadından biri alınacak, öbürü bırakılacak.”
37 They reacted by saying to Him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where there is a carcass, there will the vultures also be gathered.”
Onlar İsa'ya, “Bu olaylar nerede olacak, Rab?” diye sordular. O da onlara, “Leş neredeyse, akbabalar da oraya üşüşecek” dedi.
