< John 2 >
1 On the third day a wedding took place in Cana of Galilee, and Jesus' mother was there.
Ye fikilile ifighono fidatu, kwe vulyale uvutolani ku kikaaja ikya Kana mukighavo ikya Galilaya ghwope ung'hina ghwa Yesu pwealyale pa vutolani uvuo.
2 Now both Jesus and His disciples had been invited to the wedding.
U Yesu na vavulanisivua vaake voope pwevalyale pa vutolani uvuo ulwakuva valyakutilue.
3 So when the wine had given out, Jesus' mother says to Him, “They don't have any wine!”
Unsiki ye vamalile uluhuuje, ung'hina ghwa Yesu akambuula uYesu akati, “Vasila luhuuje”.
4 Jesus says to her: “What is that to you and me, woman? My time has not yet come.”
U Yesu akamwamula ung'hina akati, “Mama, kiki ukumbuula isio? Unsiki ughwa kuvomba imbombo jango ghukyale”
5 His mother says to the servants, “Do whatever He may tell you.”
Pe ung'hina akavavuula avavombi akati, “Kino kyaikuvavuula, muvombaghe.”
6 (Now there were six stone waterpots set there, according to the purification rites of the Jews, containing 20 or 30 gallons each.)
Pa vutolani pala pwesilyale isaaji ntanda isa mavue. Isaaji isio silyale sa malenga agha kusogha, muliva kuvalasia ndavule lwale lwiho ku Vayahudi, ulusaji lumo lukamemagha amalenga amateneka ghavili nambe ghatatu.
7 Jesus says to them, “Fill the pots with water.” So they filled them to the brim.
UYesu akavavuula avavombi vala akati, “Mumemie amalenga mu saaji isio.” Avavombi vala vakamemia.
8 So He says to them, “Now, draw some out and take it to the master of ceremonies.” So they took it.
Pe akavavuula avavombi vala akati, “Negha amalenga ghamonga mu saaji, muntwalile um'baha ughwa kikulukulu.” Vakavomba ndavule avalaghile.
9 Well, when the master of ceremonies tasted the water that had become wine—he did not know where it came from, but the servants who had drawn the water knew—he calls the bridegroom
Umbaha jula akavonja amalenga ghala ghano ghahambwike kuuva luhuuje, neke naalyakagwile kuno luumile (looli avavombi vano valyaneghile amalenga, valyakagwile kuno luhumile). Pe akankemeela untoola n'dala
10 and says to him: “Everybody serves the good wine first, then, when people are intoxicated, the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!”
akamb'buula akati, “Umuunhu ghweni taasi ihumia ihumi uluhuuje ulunono, neke kyande avanu vanywile vakwilile, pe ihumia uluhuuje luno nalunono. Neke uve uvele ujiighe uvikile uluhuuje ulunono kuhanga kuvusililo”
11 This, the first of the miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee and revealed His glory; and His disciples believed into Him.
UYesu alyavombile ikidegho iki ku Kana kukighavo ikya Galilaya, ikidegho ikio kyale kivalilo kya kwanda kuhufia uvuvaha vwake, mu uluo avavulanisivua vaake vakaghina kukumwitika.
12 After this He went down to Capernaum—He, His mother, His brothers, and His disciples—but they did not stay there many days.
Ikikulukulu kya vutolani yekisilile, uYesu palikimo nu ng'hina na vanuuna na vavulani sivua vaake vakaluta ku likaaja ilya Kapelnaum ukuo vakikala ifighono fidebe.
13 Now the Jewish Passover was near, so Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Unsiki ughwa kyimike ikya Pasaka ikya Vayahudi ye ghuli piipi, uYesu akaluta ku Yelusalemu.
14 And in the Temple He found people selling oxen and sheep and doves, also the moneychangers at work.
Ye afikile kula, akingila mu nyumba inyimike ija kufunyila, akavaagha avaanhu vighusia ing'ombe, ing'holo ni ng'unda kange avange vakananiagha indalama.
15 When He had made a scourge out of cords, He drove all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and as for the moneychangers, He overturned the tables and scattered the coins.
16 And to the dove-sellers He said: “Get these things out of here! Stop turning my Father's House into a marketplace!”
Avaghusia ing'unda akavavuula akati, “'Vusia ing'unda apa, namungavikaghe inyumba ja Nhata ghwango kuuva lighulilo.”
17 Then His disciples remembered that it stands written, “Zeal for Your House consumes me.”
Avavulanisivua vaake vakakumbuka amasio ghano ghalembilue mu malembe amimike kuuti, “Ulughano lwango vwimila inyumba jaako lukumbuda.”
18 So the Jews answered and said to Him, “What sign do you show us, since you do these things?”
Pe avalongosi va Vayahudi vakamposia vakati, Ghuhufia ikivalilo kiki kuvonia kuuti, uli nu vutavulilua uvwa kuvomba isi?”
19 Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it.”
UYesu akavamula akati, memula inyumba inyimike iji ija kufunyila, une nijenga kange mu fighono fidatu.”
20 So the Jews said, “It took forty-six years to build this temple, and you will raise it in three days?!”
Pe avalongosi va Vayahudi vakati, “Inyumba inyimike ija kufunyila jilyajengilue amaaka fijigho fine ni ntanda lino lwa ndaani uve ghujenga mu fighono fidatu?”
21 But He was speaking about the temple of His body.
UYesu naakava ijova inyumba inyimike ija kufunyila, ulwene akava ijova vwimila um'bili ghwake.
22 Therefore, when He was raised from among the dead His disciples remembered that He had said this; so they believed the Scripture, even the word that Jesus had spoken.
Lino ye asyusivue kuhuma ku vafue, avavulanisivua vaake vakakumbuka amasio aghuo ghano alyajovile, vakitika amasio ghano ghalembilue mu malembe amimike na ghano alyajovile uYesu.
23 Now while He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed into His name, observing the signs that He was doing.
UYesu ye ali ku Yelusalemu ku kyimike ikya Pasaka, avaanhu vinga valyamwitike, ulwakuva valyafyaghile ifivalilo vwimila ifidegho fino alyale ivomba.
24 But as for Jesus Himself, He did not entrust Himself to them, because He knew all men
Neke uYesu naalyavatang'hinje avaanhu vooni vule valivuo.
25 and that He had no need that anyone should testify about man, because He Himself knew what was in man.
Kange nakwevulyale uvufumbue muunhu kukum'buula sino avaanhu vakava visaagha ulwakuva alyasikagwile sooni isa mu moojo ghaave.
