Ephesians 6
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
೧ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿರಿ. ಇದು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದದ್ದು.
2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—
೨ವಾಗ್ದಾನಸಹಿತವಾದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, “ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕು,
3 “that it may go well with you and you may live long on the earth.”
೩ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಶುಭವಾಗುವುದು, ನೀನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಹುಕಾಲ ಬದುಕುವಿ.”
4 And fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of Sovereign.
೪ತಂದೆಗಳೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸದೆ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆಯಾಗುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಿಸ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಉಪದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಾಕಿ ಸಲಹಿರಿ.
5 Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;
೫ದಾಸರೇ, ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಯಜಮಾನರಾಗಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮನೋಭೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನಡುಗುವವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಸರಳಹೃದಯರಾಗಿಯೂ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿರಿ.
6 not only when being watched, to please men, but as slaves of the Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
೬ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವವರಂತೆ ತೋರಿಕೆಗೆ ಯಜಮಾನರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡದೇ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ದಾಸರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಮನಃಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ನಡಿಸಿರಿ.
7 serving with a good attitude, as to the Lord and not to men,
೭ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವಲ್ಲ, ಕರ್ತನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ಮನಃಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿರಿ.
8 knowing that whatever good each one does, he will receive the same again from the Lord, whether he is slave or free.
೮ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು ದಾಸನಾಗಲಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರನಾಗಲಿ ತಾನು ಯಾವ ಸತ್ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅದರ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಹೊಂದುವನೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
9 And masters, be the same way towards them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.
೯ಯಜಮಾನರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಾಸರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೂ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಯಜಮಾನನಾಗಿರುವಾತನು ಇದ್ದಾನೆಂತಲೂ ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂತಲೂ ತಿಳಿದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಾಸರನ್ನು ಬೆದರಿಸುವ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಿರಿ.
10 Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
೧೦ಕಡೆಯದಾಗಿ, ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆತನ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಲಗೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
11 Put on the full armor of God so as to be able to stand firm against the stratagems of the devil.
೧೧ಸೈತಾನನ ತಂತ್ರೋಪಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ಎದುರಿಸಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾಗುವಂತೆ ದೇವರು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವ ಸರ್ವಾಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
12 Because, our wrestling match is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, against the malignant spirits in the heavenly realms. (aiōn g165)
೧೨ನಮಗೆ ಹೋರಾಟವಿರುವುದು ಮನುಷ್ಯಮಾತ್ರದವರ ಸಂಗಡವಲ್ಲ. ರಾಜತ್ವಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಈ ಅಂಧಕಾರದ ಲೋಕಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಆಕಾಶ ಮಂಡಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದುರಾತ್ಮಗಳ ಸೇನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಾವು ಹೋರಾಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. (aiōn g165)
13 That is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, to stand firm, with everything in place.
೧೩ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ದುಷ್ಟ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಶಕ್ತರಾಗುವಂತೆ ದೇವರು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವ ಸರ್ವಾಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
14 So stand firm, having belted your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
೧೪ಸತ್ಯವೆಂಬ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಸೊಂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು, ನೀತಿಯೆಂಬ ಎದೆಕವಚವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು,
15 and having shod your feet with the readiness of the Gospel of the peace;
೧೫ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಚುರಪಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಂಬ ಕೆರಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿಲ್ಲಿರಿ.
16 above all, having taken up the shield of the faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the malignant one;
೧೬ಎಲ್ಲಾದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೆಂಬ ಗುರಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಅದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಕೆಡುಕನ ಅಗ್ನಿಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಂದಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತರಾಗುವಿರಿ.
17 also, grasp the helmet of the salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is God's Word spoken;
೧೭ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೆಂಬ ಶಿರಸ್ತ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು ಕೊಡುವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವೆಂಬ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
18 praying at all times in the Spirit, using every prayer and petition, yes being watchful to this end with all perseverance and petition for all the saints
೧೮ನೀವು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮಪ್ರೇರಿತರಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಲವಿಧವಾದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಸ್ಥಿರಚಿತ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದು ದೇವಜನರೆಲ್ಲರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರಿ. ನನಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.
19 —on my behalf too, that when I open my mouth utterance may be given to me with boldness, to make known the mystery of the Gospel,
೧೯ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆಯುವಾಗ ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸುವಾರ್ತಾಸತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ.
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to do.
೨೦ಆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಯಾದ ನಾನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದೇನಲ್ಲಾ. ಅದರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವಂತೆ ನನಗಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
21 Now that you also may know my affairs, how I am doing, Tychicus, the dear brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will tell you everything;
೨೧ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಸಹೋದರನೂ ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತ ಸೇವಕನಾಗಿರುವ ತುಖಿಕನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಡುವನು.
22 whom I have sent to you for this very purpose: that you may know our circumstances and that he may comfort your hearts.
೨೨ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಅವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
23 Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and Sovereign Jesus Christ.
೨೩ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೂ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಿಂದಲೂ ಶಾಂತಿಯೂ, ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯೂ ಸಹೋದರರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿ.
24 The grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love. Amen.
೨೪ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಇರಲಿ.
