Ephesians 1
1 Paul, apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, that is, the faithful in Christ Jesus:
因天主的旨意，做耶穌基督宗徒的保祿，致書給那些在 [厄弗所的 ] 聖徒和信仰基督耶穌的人。
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Sovereign Jesus Christ.
願恩寵與平安，由我們的天主和主耶穌基督，賜與你們!
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ;
願我們的主耶穌基督的天主和父受讚美！祂在天上，在基督內，以各種屬神的祝福，祝福了我們，
4 just as He[F] chose us in Him[S] before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him[F], in love,
因為祂於創世以前，在基督內己揀選了我們，為使我們在祂面前，成為聖潔無瑕疵的；
5 having predestined us into an adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, into Him[S], according to the good pleasure of His[F] will,
又由於愛，按照自己旨的決定，預定了我們藉著耶穌基督獲得義子的名分，而歸於祂，
6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, with which He graced us in the Beloved;
為頌揚祂恩寵的光榮，這恩寵是祂在自己的愛子內賜與我們的；
7 in whom we have the redemption through His[S] blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His[F] grace,
我們就是全憑天主豐厚的恩寵，在祂的愛子內，藉祂愛子的血，獲得了救贖，罪過的赦免。
8 that He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and intelligent design,
的確，天主豐厚地把這恩寵傾注在我們身上，賜與我們各種智慧和明達，
9 having made known to us the ‘secret’ of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Him[S],
為使我們知道，祂旨意的奧祕，是全照祂在愛子內所定的計畫；
10 with a view to administering the fullness of the times, so as to bring all things together under one head in Christ—those on the heavens and those on the earth—in Him[S],
就是依照祂的措施，當時期一滿，就使天上和地上的萬有，總歸於基督元苜。
11 in whom we were also assigned an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him[F] who works all things according to the decision of His will,
我們也是在基督內得作天主的產業，因為我們是由那位按照自己旨意的計畫施行萬事者，早預定了的，
12 so that we should be to the praise of His glory, we who first trusted in the Christ;
為使我們這些首先在默西亞內懷著希望的人，頌揚祂的光榮；
13 about whom, to be sure, we had heard the true Word—the Gospel of your salvation; by whom, since you also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
在基督內，你們一聽到了真理的話，即你們得救的福音，便信從了，且在祂內受了恩許聖神的印證；
14 who is the down payment on our inheritance until the release of the possession, to the praise of His glory.
這聖神就是我們得嗣業的保證，為使天主所置為嗣業的子民，蒙受完全的救贖，為頌揚祂的光榮。
15 Because of this, having heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints,
因此，我一聽見你們對主耶穌的信德和對眾聖徒的愛德，
16 I really do not stop giving thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:
便不斷為你們感謝天主，在我的祈禱中紀念你們，
17 that the God of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the real knowledge of Himself,
為使我們的主耶穌基督的天主，即那光榮的父，把智慧和啟示的神恩，賜與你們，好使你們認識祂；
18 the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that you may know 1) what is the hope of His[F] calling, and 2) what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
並光照你們心靈的眼目，為叫你們認清祂的寵召什麼希望，在聖徒中祂嗣業的光榮，是怎樣豐厚；
19 and 3) what the exceeding greatness of His power into us who are believing, according to the demonstration of the extent of His might
祂對我們虔信的人，所施展的強有力而見效的德能是怎樣的偉大。
20 which He exercised in the Christ when He raised Him[S] from among the dead and seated Him at His[F] right, in the heavenly realms,
正如祂已將這德能施展在基督身上，使祂從死者中復活，叫祂在天上坐在自己右邊，
21 far above every ruler and authority and power and dominion—even every name that can be named, not only in this age but also in the next. (aiōn g165)
超乎一切率領者、掌權者、異能者、宰制者，以及一切現世及來世的可稱呼的名號以上； (aiōn g165)
22 In short, He[F] placed everything under His[S] feet, and appointed Him to be Head over everything in the Church,
又將萬有置於祂的腳下，使祂教會內作至上的元首，
23 which is His body, the complement of Him who fills everything in every way.
這教會就是基督的身體，就是在一切內充滿一切者的圓滿。
