Acts 25
1 Now upon assuming the province, after three days Festus went up from Caesarea to Jerusalem.
୧ପେସ୍ଟସ୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆ ଅଇକରି ଆଇଲା ଜାଗାଇ, ତିନ୍ ଦିନ୍ ପଚେ, ସେ ସିସିରିଆ ଅନି ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ଗାଲା ।
2 Then the chief priests and the principal men of the Jews informed him against Paul and started importuning him,
୨ସେ ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ରଇଲାବେଲେ, ତେଇ ମୁକିଅ ପୁଜାରି ଆରି ଜିଉଦିନେତାମନ୍ ଆରି ତରେକ୍ ପାଉଲର୍ ବିରଦେ ରଇବା ଦାବି ନେଇ, ସେମନର୍ ଲଗେ ଗାଲାଇ । ସେମନ୍ ପେସ୍ତେସ୍କେ ବାବୁଜିଆ କଲାଇ,
3 begging a favor from him, that he would summon him to Jerusalem—preparing an ambush to kill him along the way.
୩ଜେନ୍ତିକି ପାଉଲ୍କେ ଜିରୁସାଲାମେ ଆନ୍ବାକେ ଗୁଆରି କଲାଇ । କାଇକେବଇଲେ ବାଟେ ଜାଗିରଇ ସେମନ୍ ପାଉଲ୍କେ ମାରିମରାଇବାକେ ଜଜ୍ନା ତିଆର୍ କରିରଇଲାଇ ।
4 However Festus answered that Paul should be kept at Caesarea, he himself being about to go there shortly.
୪ପେସ୍ଟସ୍ କଇଲା, “ପାଉଲ୍କେ ଗଟେକ୍ ବନ୍ଦି ଇସାବେ ସିସେରିଆଇ ରକାଅଇଲା ଆଚେ ଆରି ବେଗି ମୁଇ ତେଇ ବାଉଡି ଜିବି ।
5 He said, “So let those who are competent among you go down with me; if there is anything against this man, let them accuse him.”
୫ଜଦି ସେ କାଇ ଦସ୍ କଲା ଆଚେ, ତେବେ ତମର୍ ନେତାମନ୍ ମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ସିସେରିଆଇ ଆସତ୍ ଆରି ତାର୍ ବିରଦେ ସେମନର୍ ଦାବା ଜାନାଅତ୍ ।”
6 When he had stayed among them more than ten days, he went down to Caesarea; the next day he sat on the judgment seat and commanded Paul to be brought.
୬ପେସ୍ଟସ୍ ସେମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆଟ୍ ଦସ୍ ଦିନ୍ ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ରଇକରି ସିସେରିଆଇ ବାଅଡ୍ଲା । ତାର୍ ଆର୍କର୍ ଦିନେ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ବା ଗରେ ବସି ପାଉଲ୍କେ ଆନ୍ବାକେ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲା ।
7 When he had come, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem made a circle, bringing against Paul many serious charges that they could not prove,
୭ପାଉଲ୍ ଆଇଲା ଦାପ୍ରେ ଜିରୁସାଲମେଅନି ଆସିରଇବା ଜିଉଦିମନ୍ ତାକର୍ ଚାରିବେଟ୍ତି ବେଡି ଟିଆ ଅଇଲାଇ ଆରି ତାର୍ ବିରଦେ କେତେକ୍ କେତେକ୍ ବଡ୍ ବଡ୍ ଦାବା କଲାଇ, ମାତର୍ ସେମନ୍ ଏ ସବୁ ସତ୍ ବଲି ଦେକାଇ ନାପାର୍ଲାଇ ।
8 while he defended himself, “Neither against the law of the Jews, nor against the temple, nor against Caesar did I commit any sin.”
୮ମାତର୍ ପାଉଲ୍ ନିଜେ ନିଜର୍ ବାଟେ ଅନି କଇଲା, “ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ରିତିନିତି, ମନ୍ଦିରର୍ କି ରମିଅ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆ, କାର୍ ମିସା ବିରଦେ ମୁଇ ଦସ୍ କରିନାଇ ।”
9 But Festus, wanting to do the Jews a favor, answered Paul by saying, “Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem to be judged by me there concerning these things?”
୯ମାତର୍ ପେସ୍ଟସ୍ ଜିଉଦିମନ୍କେ ବଲ୍ ବଲାଇ ଅଇବାକେ ମନ୍ କରି ପାଉଲ୍କେ ପାଚାର୍ଲା, “ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ଜିବାକେ ଆରି ତେଇ ମର୍ ମୁଆଟେ, ଏ ସବୁ ଦାବାର୍ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ବାକେ ତୁଇ କାଇ ରାଜି ଅଇସୁ କି?”
10 So Paul said: “I am standing before Caesar's judgment seat, where I ought to be tried. To the Jews I have done no wrong, as even you know very well.
୧୦ପାଉଲ୍ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ବଡ୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆର୍ ନିଜର୍ ବିଚାର୍ନା ଜାଗାଇ ଟିଆ ଅଇଲିଆଚି, ଇତିସେ ମର୍ ବିଚାର୍ ଅଇବାର୍ ଦର୍କାର୍ । ତମେ ନିକକରି ଜାନାସ୍ ଜେ, ମୁଇ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ବିରଦେ କାଇମିସା ଦସ୍ କରିନାଇ ।
11 Now if I really am in the wrong and have perpetrated anything worthy of death, I do not refuse to die; but if there is nothing to the things of which these are accusing me, no one has the right to give me to them. I appeal to Caesar!”
୧୧ଜଦି ମୁଇ ରିତିନିତି ନ ମାନି ମରନ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇବାପାରା କାଇ ଦସ୍ କଲିଆଚି ବଇଲେ, ମର୍ବାକେ ନ ଡରି । ମାତର୍ ସେମନ୍ ମର୍ ବିରଦେ ଆନିରଇବା ଦାବା ବିତ୍ରେ କାଇମିସା ସତ୍ ନ ରଏ, ତେବେ କେ ମିସା ମକେ ସେମନ୍କେ ସର୍ପିଦେଇ ନାପାରତ୍ । ବଡ୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆ ଆକା ମକେ ବିଚାର୍ନା କର ବଲି ଗୁଆରି କଲିନି ।”
12 Then Festus, when he had conferred with his counsel, answered: “You have appealed to Caesar. To Caesar you shall go!”
୧୨ତାର୍ପଚେ ପେସ୍ଟସ୍ ତାର୍ ସବାଇ ରଇଲା ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କାତାବାର୍ତା ଅଇ କଇଲା, “ତମେ ବଡ୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆ ବିଚାର୍ କର ବଲି ଗୁଆରି କରିଆଚାସ୍, ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ତମ୍କେ ବଡ୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆର୍ ଲଗେ ପାଟାଇବି ।”
13 Now when some days had passed, Agrippa the king and Bernice arrived in Caesarea to congratulate Festus.
୧୩କେତେଦିନ୍ ପଚେ ରାଜା ଆଗ୍ରିପା ଆରି ବର୍ନିସ୍ ପେସ୍ଟସ୍କେ ଜୁଆର୍ ଜାନାଇବାକେ କାଇସରିଆଇ ମିସ୍ବାର୍ ଆଇଲାଇ ।
14 Since they were spending many days there, Festus laid Paul's case before the king, saying: “There is a certain man left a prisoner by Felix;
୧୪ତେଇ ସେମନ୍ କେତେ ଦିନ୍ ରଇଲା ପଚେ ପେସ୍ଟସ୍ ପାଉଲର୍ ବିସଇ ରାଜାକେ ଜାନାଇଲା, “ପେଲିକସ୍ ବନ୍ଦିକରି ଜାଇରଇବା ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଇତି ଆଚେ ।”
15 about whom, when I was in Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed me, asking for punishment against him;
୧୫ମୁଇ ଜେଡେବେଲା ଜିରୁସାଲାମ୍ ଜାଇରଇଲି, ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ମୁକିଅ ପୁଜାରିମନ୍ ଆରି ସେ ଦରମର୍ ପାର୍ଚିନ୍ମନ୍ ତାର୍ ବିରଦେ କେତେଟା ଦାବା କଲାଇ ଆରି ତାକେ ଦସି କର୍ବାକେ ମକେ କଇଲାଇ ।
16 to whom I answered that it is not a custom with Romans to deliver any man to destruction before the accused has his accusers face to face and has opportunity for defense against the accusation.
୧୬ମାତର୍ ମୁଇ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲି ଜେ, ଗଟେକ୍ ଦସିକେ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ବା ଗରେ, ତାକେ ଦାବା କରୁମନର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ନିଜର୍ ବାଟେଅନି କଇବାକେ ବେଲା ଦେବା ଆଗ୍ତୁ, ତାକେ ଦସି କର୍ବାଟା ଆମର୍ ରମିୟମନର୍ ନିୟମେ ନାଇ ।
17 So when they had assembled here, without any delay, the next day I sat on the judgment seat and commanded the man to be brought.
୧୭ସେମନ୍ ଇତି ଆଇଲା ପଚେ ମୁଇ ଅଲ୍ସମ୍ ନ କରି, ତାର୍ ପର୍ଦିନେ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ବା ଗରେ ବସ୍ଲି ଆରି ସେ ଲକ୍କେ ବିତ୍ରେ ଆନ୍ବାକେ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲି ।
18 When the accusers stood up, they brought no charge against him of such things as I supposed,
୧୮ମର୍ ବାବ୍ବାଟା ବୁଲ୍ ରଇଲା, ସେମନ୍ ତାର୍ ବିରୁଦେ ଆନିରଇବା ଦାବି, ସେ କରିରଇବା କରାପ୍ ବିସଇ ଅଇରଇସି ବଲି ବାବ୍ଲି, ମାତର୍ ସେନ୍ତାର୍ ନ ରଇଲା ।
19 but had certain issues against him about their religion, and about a certain dead Jesus whom Paul affirmed to be living.
୧୯ସେମନର୍ ଦାବି ତାକର୍ ନିଜର୍ ଦରମ୍ ବିସଇ ରଇଲା, ଆରି ଜିସୁ ବଲି ଗଟେକ୍ ମରିଜାଇରଇବା ଲକର୍ ବିସଇ ରଇଲା । ମାତର୍ ସେଲକ୍ ବଁଚ୍ଲା ଆଚେ ବଲି ପାଉଲ୍ କଇଲା ।
20 And since I was at a loss how to investigate such matters, I asked whether he was willing to go to Jerusalem and be judged there concerning these things.
୨୦ଏ ସବୁ ବିସଇର୍ ସତ୍ କେନ୍ତି ବାର୍କରାଇବି ବଲି ମୁଇମିସା ନାଜାନିରଇଲି, ତେବେ ଏ ସବୁ ବିଚାର୍ନା କର୍ବାକେ ପାଉଲ୍କେ ଜିରୁସାଲମେ ଜାଇସୁ କି ନାଇ ବଲି ପାଚାର୍ଲି ।
21 But when Paul appealed to be reserved for the decision of the Emperor, I commanded him to be kept until I can send him to Caesar.”
୨୧ମାତର୍ ପାଉଲ୍, ନିଜେ ରମ୍ ରାଇଜର୍ କାଇସର୍ ରାଜା, ତାର୍ ବିଚାର୍ କର ବଲି କଇ ସନିଅମନ୍ ରକିଆ କରତ୍ ବଲି ମନ୍ କଲା । ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ବଡ୍ ସାସନ୍କାରିଆ ଲଗେ ପାଟାଇବା ଜାକ ବନ୍ଦି କରି ରକ୍ବାକେ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲିଆଚି ।
22 Then Agrippa said to Festus, “I myself would also like to hear the man.” So he said, “Tomorrow you shall hear him.”
୨୨ଆଗ୍ରିପା ପେସ୍ଟସ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ନିଜେ ଏ ଲକର୍ କାତା ସୁନ୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କଲିନି ।” ପେସ୍ଟସ୍ କଇଲା, “କାଲିକେ ତମେ ତାର୍ କାତା ସୁନ୍ସା ।”
23 So the next day, when Agrippa and Bernice had come with great pomp and entered the auditorium, with the commanding officers and the more prominent men of the city, at Festus' command Paul was brought in.
୨୩ତାର୍ ଆର୍କର୍ ଦିନେ ଆଗ୍ରିପା ଆରି ବର୍ନିସ୍ ଆସି କେଟ୍ଲାଇ । ସେମନ୍ ରାଜାମନ୍ ପିନ୍ଦ୍ଲାପାରାଟା ପିନ୍ଦିର ଇଲା । ସନିଅମନର୍ ନେତାମନ୍ ଆରି ସେ ଗଡର୍ ବଡ୍ ବଡ୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବେସି ଡାକ୍ପୁଟା ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆସି, ବିଚାର୍ନା ଜାଗାଇ ପୁର୍ଲାଇ । ପେସ୍ଟସ୍ ଆଦେସ୍ କଲାକେ, ପାଉଲ୍କେ ବିତ୍ରେ ଆନ୍ଲାଇ ।
24 And Festus said: “King Agrippa, and all you men who are here with us: consider this man, about whom the whole Jewish community petitioned me, both at Jerusalem and here, vociferating that it was not fitting for him to live any longer.
୨୪ପେସ୍ଟସ୍ କଇଲା, “ରାଜା ଆଗ୍ରିପା ଆରି ରୁଣ୍ଡି ରଇଲା ସବୁ ଲକ୍, ତମେ ଏ ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଦେକ୍ଲାସ୍ନି, ତାର୍ ବିରଦେ ଇତିର୍ ଜିଉଦିମନ୍ ଆରି ଜିରୁସାଲମର୍ ଜିଉଦିମନ୍ ମର୍ ଲଗେ ଦାବା କଲାଇ ଆଚତ୍ । ସେମନ୍ ତାକେ ମରାଉଁ ବଲିକରି କଇ ଆଉଲି ଅଇଲାଇନି ।
25 But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, besides he himself having appealed to the Emperor, I decided to send him.
୨୫ମାତର୍ ମୁଇ କଜି ବାର୍କରାଇଲି ଜେ, ଏ ଲକ୍ ମରନ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇବା ଏତ୍କି, କାଇ ଦସ୍ କରେନାଇ । ସେ ନିଜେ ବଡ୍ସାସନ୍କାରିଆକେ ଗୁଆରି କଲାର୍ ପାଇ, ମୁଇ ତାକେ ତେଇ ପାଟାଇବାକେ ଟିକ୍ କଲି ଆଚି ।
26 But I have nothing certain to write to my lord concerning him. Therefore I have brought him before all of you, and especially before you, King Agrippa, so that after the examination I may have something to write.
୨୬ମାତର୍ ତାର୍ ଦାବି ବିସଇ ଟିକ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବଡ୍ସାସନ୍କାରିଆକେ ଲେକ୍ବାକେ ମର୍ ଲଗେ କାଇଟା ନାଇ । ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ମୁଇ ସବୁର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଆରି ଏ ଆଗ୍ରିପା ରାଜା, ତମର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ଆନ୍ଲି ଆଚି, ଜେନ୍ତି କି ତାର୍ ବିସଇ ତମେ ନିକ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କଜ୍ଲା ପଚେ ବଡ୍ସାସନ୍କାରିଆକେ ଲେକିପାର୍ବି ।
27 Because it seems to me unreasonable to send a prisoner and not to specify the charges against him.”
୨୭କାଇକେବଇଲେ ଗଟେକ୍ ବନ୍ଦିର୍ ବିରଦର୍ ଦାବା ନିକସଙ୍ଗ୍ ନ ଦେକାଇ, ବଡ୍ସାସନ୍କାରିଆର୍ ଲଗେ ପାଟାଇବାଟା ଟିକ୍ ନଏଁ ବଲି ମୁଇ ବାବ୍ଲିନି ।”
