Acts 19
1 Now it happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul, having passed through the upper country, came to Ephesus. And finding certain disciples
ករិន្ថនគរ អាបល្លសះ ស្ថិតិកាលេ បៅល ឧត្តរប្រទេឝៃរាគច្ឆន៑ ឥផិឞនគរម៑ ឧបស្ថិតវាន៑។ តត្រ កតិបយឝិឞ្យាន៑ សាក្ឞត៑ ប្រាប្យ តាន៑ អប្ឫច្ឆត៑,
2 he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “But we have not so much as heard that there is a Holy Spirit!”
យូយំ វិឝ្វស្យ បវិត្រមាត្មានំ ប្រាប្តា ន វា? តតស្តេ ប្រត្យវទន៑ បវិត្រ អាត្មា ទីយតេ ឥត្យស្មាភិះ ឝ្រុតមបិ នហិ។
3 So he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” So they said, “Into John's baptism.”
តទា សាៜវទត៑ តហ៌ិ យូយំ កេន មជ្ជិតា អភវត? តេៜកថយន៑ យោហនោ មជ្ជនេន។
4 So Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe into the One who would come after him, that is, into Jesus, the Christ.”
តទា បៅល ឧក្តវាន៑ ឥតះ បរំ យ ឧបស្ថាស្យតិ តស្មិន៑ អត៌្ហត យីឝុខ្រីឞ្ដេ វិឝ្វសិតវ្យមិត្យុក្ត្វា យោហន៑ មនះបរិវត៌្តនសូចកេន មជ្ជនេន ជលេ លោកាន៑ អមជ្ជយត៑។
5 So upon hearing this they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
តាទ្ឫឝីំ កថាំ ឝ្រុត្វា តេ ប្រភោ រ្យីឝុខ្រីឞ្ដស្យ នាម្នា មជ្ជិតា អភវន៑។
6 And as Paul laid his hands on them the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they started speaking languages and prophesying.
តតះ បៅលេន តេឞាំ គាត្រេឞុ ករេៜរ្បិតេ តេឞាមុបរិ បវិត្រ អាត្មាវរូឍវាន៑, តស្មាត៑ តេ នានាទេឝីយា ភាឞា ភវិឞ្យត្កថាឝ្ច កថិតវន្តះ។
7 There were about twelve men in all.
តេ ប្រាយេណ ទ្វាទឝជនា អាសន៑។
8 During three months Paul kept going to the synagogue and speaking boldly, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the Kingdom of God.
បៅលោ ភជនភវនំ គត្វា ប្រាយេណ មាសត្រយម៑ ឦឝ្វរស្យ រាជ្យស្យ វិចារំ ក្ឫត្វា លោកាន៑ ប្រវត៌្យ សាហសេន កថាមកថយត៑។
9 But when some became hardened and disobedient, maligning the Way before the crowd, he withdrew from them and separated the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of a certain Tyrannus.
កិន្តុ កឋិនាន្តះករណត្វាត៑ កិយន្តោ ជនា ន វិឝ្វស្យ សវ៌្វេឞាំ សមក្ឞម៑ ឯតត្បថស្យ និន្ទាំ កត៌្តុំ ប្រវ្ឫត្តាះ, អតះ បៅលស្តេឞាំ សមីបាត៑ ប្រស្ថាយ ឝិឞ្យគណំ ប្ឫថក្ក្ឫត្វា ប្រត្យហំ តុរាន្ននាម្នះ កស្យចិត៑ ជនស្យ បាឋឝាលាយាំ វិចារំ ក្ឫតវាន៑។
10 Now this continued for two years, so that all who lived in Asia, both Jews and Greeks, heard the Word of the Lord Jesus.
ឥត្ថំ វត្សរទ្វយំ គតំ តស្មាទ៑ អាឝិយាទេឝនិវាសិនះ សវ៌្វេ យិហូទីយា អន្យទេឝីយលោកាឝ្ច ប្រភោ រ្យីឝោះ កថាម៑ អឝ្រៅឞន៑។
11 Further, God kept working unusual miracles by the hands of Paul,
បៅលេន ច ឦឝ្វរ ឯតាទ្ឫឝាន្យទ្ភុតានិ កម៌្មាណិ ក្ឫតវាន្
12 so that even handkerchiefs or aprons that he touched were applied to the sick, and the diseases left them and the wicked spirits went out from them.
យត៑ បរិធេយេ គាត្រមាជ៌នវស្ត្រេ វា តស្យ ទេហាត៑ បីឌិតលោកានាម៑ សមីបម៑ អានីតេ តេ និរាមយា ជាតា អបវិត្រា ភូតាឝ្ច តេភ្យោ ពហិគ៌តវន្តះ។
13 Well some among the itinerant Jewish exorcists attempted to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had wicked spirits saying, “We adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.”
តទា ទេឝាដនការិណះ កិយន្តោ យិហូទីយា ភូតាបសារិណោ ភូតគ្រស្តនោកានាំ សន្និធៅ ប្រភេ រ្យីឝោ រ្នាម ជប្ត្វា វាក្យមិទម៑ អវទន៑, យស្យ កថាំ បៅលះ ប្រចារយតិ តស្យ យីឝោ រ្នាម្នា យុឞ្មាន៑ អាជ្ញាបយាមះ។
14 In fact there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who were doing this.
ស្កិវនាម្នោ យិហូទីយានាំ ប្រធានយាជកស្យ សប្តភិះ បុត្តៃស្តថា ក្ឫតេ សតិ
15 But a particular wicked spirit reacted and said, “Jesus I know, and I am acquainted with Paul, but who are you?”
កឝ្ចិទ៑ អបវិត្រោ ភូតះ ប្រត្យុទិតវាន៑, យីឝុំ ជានាមិ បៅលញ្ច បរិចិនោមិ កិន្តុ កេ យូយំ?
16 And the man in whom the wicked spirit was jumped on them and overpowered them; he was so much stronger that they ran out of that house naked and wounded.
ឥត្យុក្ត្វា សោបវិត្រភូតគ្រស្តោ មនុឞ្យោ លម្ផំ ក្ឫត្វា តេឞាមុបរិ បតិត្វា ពលេន តាន៑ ជិតវាន៑, តស្មាត្តេ នគ្នាះ ក្ឞតាង្គាឝ្ច សន្តស្តស្មាទ៑ គេហាត៑ បលាយន្ត។
17 Now this became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, who lived in Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was being exalted.
សា វាគ៑ ឥផិឞនគរនិវាសិនសំ សវ៌្វេឞាំ យិហូទីយានាំ ភិន្នទេឝីយានាំ លោកានាញ្ច ឝ្រវោគោចរីភូតា; តតះ សវ៌្វេ ភយំ គតាះ ប្រភោ រ្យីឝោ រ្នាម្នោ យឝោ ៜវទ៌្ធត។
18 And many of those who had believed started coming, confessing and disclosing their practices.
យេឞាមនេកេឞាំ លោកានាំ ប្រតីតិរជាយត ត អាគត្យ ស្វៃះ ក្ឫតាះ ក្រិយាះ ប្រកាឝរូបេណាង្គីក្ឫតវន្តះ។
19 In fact, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them up, in front of everybody (they had calculated their value and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver).
ពហវោ មាយាកម៌្មការិណះ ស្វស្វគ្រន្ថាន៑ អានីយ រាឝីក្ឫត្យ សវ៌្វេឞាំ សមក្ឞម៑ អទាហយន៑, តតោ គណនាំ ក្ឫត្វាពុធ្យន្ត បញ្ចាយុតរូប្យមុទ្រាមូល្យបុស្តកានិ ទគ្ធានិ។
20 With power like that it was that the word of the Lord kept growing and prevailing.
ឥត្ថំ ប្រភោះ កថា សវ៌្វទេឝំ វ្យាប្យ ប្រពលា ជាតា។
21 Now after these things were accomplished, Paul resolved in his spirit to go to Jerusalem, passing through Macedonia and Achaia, saying, “After I have been there, I must also see Rome.”
សវ៌្វេឞ្វេតេឞុ កម៌្មសុ សម្បន្នេឞុ សត្សុ បៅលោ មាកិទនិយាខាយាទេឝាភ្យាំ យិរូឝាលមំ គន្តុំ មតិំ ក្ឫត្វា កថិតវាន៑ តត្ស្ថានំ យាត្រាយាំ ក្ឫតាយាំ សត្យាំ មយា រោមានគរំ ទ្រឞ្ដវ្យំ។
22 So he sent two of those who ministered to him, Timothy and Erastus, on to Macedonia, while he himself stayed on in Asia for a time.
ស្វានុគតលោកានាំ តីមថិយេរាស្តៅ ទ្វៅ ជនៅ មាកិទនិយាទេឝំ ប្រតិ ប្រហិត្យ ស្វយម៑ អាឝិយាទេឝេ កតិបយទិនានិ ស្ថិតវាន៑។
23 Now it was during that time that a serious disturbance concerning the Way occurred.
កិន្តុ តស្មិន៑ សមយេ មតេៜស្មិន៑ កលហោ ជាតះ។
24 A certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Artemis, habitually brought in plenty of business for the artisans;
តត្ការណមិទំ, អត៌្តិមីទេវ្យា រូប្យមន្ទិរនិម៌្មាណេន សវ៌្វេឞាំ ឝិល្បិនាំ យថេឞ្ដលាភម៑ អជនយត៑ យោ ទីមីត្រិយនាមា នាឌីន្ធមះ
25 he called them together, along with the workmen in related trades, and said: “Men, you know that our prosperity depends on this trade.
ស តាន៑ តត្កម៌្មជីវិនះ សវ៌្វលោកាំឝ្ច សមាហូយ ភាឞិតវាន៑ ហេ មហេច្ឆា ឯតេន មន្ទិរនិម៌្មាណេនាស្មាកំ ជីវិកា ភវតិ, ឯតទ៑ យូយំ វិត្ថ;
26 And you observe and hear that not only in Ephesus but throughout almost all Asia this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that handmade things are not gods.
កិន្តុ ហស្តនិម៌្មិតេឝ្វរា ឦឝ្វរា នហិ បៅលនាម្នា កេនចិជ្ជនេន កថាមិមាំ វ្យាហ្ឫត្យ កេវលេផិឞនគរេ នហិ ប្រាយេណ សវ៌្វស្មិន៑ អាឝិយាទេឝេ ប្រវ្ឫត្តិំ គ្រាហយិត្វា ពហុលោកានាំ ឝេមុឞី បរាវត៌្តិតា, ឯតទ៑ យុឞ្មាភិ រ្ទ្ឫឝ្យតេ ឝ្រូយតេ ច។
27 So not only is this trade of ours in danger of falling into disrepute, but also the temple of the great goddess Artemis may be discredited, and even her own majesty be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worship.”
តេនាស្មាកំ វាណិជ្យស្យ សវ៌្វថា ហានេះ សម្ភវនំ កេវលមិតិ នហិ, អាឝិយាទេឝស្ថៃ រ្វា សវ៌្វជគត្ស្ថៃ រ្លោកៃះ បូជ្យា យាត៌ិមី មហាទេវី តស្យា មន្ទិរស្យាវជ្ញានស្យ តស្យា ឰឝ្វយ៌្យស្យ នាឝស្យ ច សម្ភាវនា វិទ្យតេ។
28 Now upon hearing this they were filled with anger and began shouting, “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!”
ឯតាទ្ឫឝីំ កថាំ ឝ្រុត្វា តេ មហាក្រោធាន្វិតាះ សន្ត ឧច្ចៃះការំ កថិតវន្ត ឥផិឞីយានាម៑ អត៌្តិមី ទេវី មហតី ភវតិ។
29 So the whole city was filled with confusion, and they rushed into the theater with one accord (they had seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul's traveling companions).
តតះ សវ៌្វនគរំ កលហេន បរិបូណ៌មភវត៑, តតះ បរំ តេ មាកិទនីយគាយារិស្តាក៌្ហនាមានៅ បៅលស្យ ទ្វៅ សហចរៅ ធ្ឫត្វៃកចិត្តា រង្គភូមិំ ជវេន ធាវិតវន្តះ។
30 When Paul wanted to go in to the people, the disciples would not let him.
តតះ បៅលោ លោកានាំ សន្និធិំ យាតុម៑ ឧទ្យតវាន៑ កិន្តុ ឝិឞ្យគណស្តំ វារិតវាន៑។
31 Even some of the officials of Asia, being his friends, sent word to him and urged him not to venture into the theater.
បៅលស្យត្មីយា អាឝិយាទេឝស្ថាះ កតិបយាះ ប្រធានលោកាស្តស្យ សមីបំ នរមេកំ ប្រេឞ្យ ត្វំ រង្គភូមិំ មាគា ឥតិ ន្យវេទយន៑។
32 The assembly was in confusion: some were shouting one thing and some another; most of them did not know why they had come together.
តតោ នានាលោកានាំ នានាកថាកថនាត៑ សភា វ្យាកុលា ជាតា កិំ ការណាទ៑ ឯតាវតី ជនតាភវត៑ ឯតទ៑ អធិកៃ រ្លោកៃ រ្នាជ្ញាយិ។
33 Then the Jews pushed Alexander forward, out from the crowd. So Alexander motioned with his hand and would have made a defense to the people.
តតះ បរំ ជនតាមធ្យាទ៑ យិហូទីយៃព៌ហិឞ្ក្ឫតះ សិកន្ទរោ ហស្តេន សង្កេតំ ក្ឫត្វា លោកេភ្យ ឧត្តរំ ទាតុមុទ្យតវាន៑,
34 But when they realized he was a Jew, they all shouted in unison for about two hours, “Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!”
កិន្តុ ស យិហូទីយលោក ឥតិ និឝ្ចិតេ សតិ ឥផិឞីយានាម៑ អត៌្តិមី ទេវី មហតីតិ វាក្យំ ប្រាយេណ បញ្ច ទណ្ឌាន៑ យាវទ៑ ឯកស្វរេណ លោកនិវហៃះ ប្រោក្តំ។
35 When the city clerk had quieted the crowd, he said: “Men of Ephesus, what man is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is temple guardian of the great goddess Artemis and of what fell from Zeus?
តតោ នគរាធិបតិស្តាន៑ ស្ថិរាន៑ ក្ឫត្វា កថិតវាន៑ ហេ ឥផិឞាយាះ សវ៌្វេ លោកា អាកណ៌យត, អត៌ិមីមហាទេវ្យា មហាទេវាត៑ បតិតាយាស្តត្ប្រតិមាយាឝ្ច បូជនម ឥផិឞនគរស្ថាះ សវ៌្វេ លោកាះ កុវ៌្វន្តិ, ឯតត៑ កេ ន ជានន្តិ?
36 Therefore, since these things are undeniable, you ought to be quiet and not do anything rash.
តស្មាទ៑ ឯតត្ប្រតិកូលំ កេបិ កថយិតុំ ន ឝក្នុវន្តិ, ឥតិ ជ្ញាត្វា យុឞ្មាភិះ សុស្ថិរត្វេន ស្ថាតវ្យម៑ អវិវិច្យ កិមបិ កម៌្ម ន កត៌្តវ្យញ្ច។
37 You have arrested these men who are neither temple thieves nor blasphemers of your goddess.
យាន៑ ឯតាន៑ មនុឞ្យាន៑ យូយមត្រ សមានយត តេ មន្ទិរទ្រវ្យាបហារកា យុឞ្មាកំ ទេវ្យា និន្ទកាឝ្ច ន ភវន្តិ។
38 Now if Demetrius and his fellow artisans have a complaint against anyone, courts are available, and there are proconsuls; let them bring charges against one another.
យទិ កញ្ចន ប្រតិ ទីមីត្រិយស្យ តស្យ សហាយានាញ្ច កាចិទ៑ អាបត្តិ រ្វិទ្យតេ តហ៌ិ ប្រតិនិធិលោកា វិចារស្ថានញ្ច សន្តិ, តេ តត៑ ស្ថានំ គត្វា ឧត្តរប្រត្យុត្តរេ កុវ៌្វន្តុ។
39 But if you want to debate any other matter, it will be settled in the legal assembly.
កិន្តុ យុឞ្មាកំ កាចិទបរា កថា យទិ តិឞ្ឋតិ តហ៌ិ និយមិតាយាំ សភាយាំ តស្យា និឞ្បត្តិ រ្ភវិឞ្យតិ។
40 Indeed, we are in danger of being charged with a riot, because of today, there being no reason at all that we can give to account for this commotion.”
កិន្ត្វេតស្យ វិរោធស្យោត្តរំ យេន ទាតុំ ឝក្នុម៑ ឯតាទ្ឫឝស្យ កស្យចិត៑ ការណស្យាភាវាទ៑ អទ្យតនឃដនាហេតោ រាជទ្រោហិណាមិវាស្មាកម៑ អភិយោគោ ភវិឞ្យតីតិ ឝង្កា វិទ្យតេ។
41 And having said these things he dismissed the assembly.
ឥតិ កថយិត្វា ស សភាស្ថលោកាន៑ វិស្ឫឞ្ដវាន៑។
