2 Timothy 4
1 Now then, in the presence of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is about to judge both living and dead, with a view to His appearing and His Kingdom, I give you this charge:
Conjuro-te pois diante de Deus, e do Senhor Jesus Cristo, que há de julgar os vivos e os mortos, na sua vinda e no seu reino,
2 Proclaim the Word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and exhort, with lots of patience and teaching.
Que pregues a palavra, instes a tempo e fora de tempo, redarguas, repreendas, exortes, com toda a longanimidade e doutrina.
3 Because the time will come when they will not tolerate the sound doctrine; rather, they will accumulate for themselves a great many teachers who will tickle their ears according to their lusts
Porque virá tempo em que não sofrerão a sã doutrina; mas, tendo comichão nos ouvidos, amontoarão para si doutores conforme as suas próprias concupiscências;
4 —yes, they will turn their ears away from the Truth and be turned aside to fables.
E desviarão os ouvidos da verdade, e se tornarão às fábulas.
5 But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Porém tu vigia em todas as coisas, sofre as aflições, faze a obra dum evangelista, cumpre o teu ministério.
6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come.
Porque a mim já agora me ofereço por aspersão de sacrifício, e o tempo da minha partida está próximo.
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Combati o bom combate, acabei a carreira, guardei a fé.
8 Now the crown of the righteousness is reserved for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that Day; and not only to me, but also to all those who have longed for His appearing.
Pelo demais, a coroa da justiça está-me guardada, a qual o Senhor, justo juiz, me dará naquele dia; e não somente a mim, mas também a todos os que amarem a sua vinda
9 Do your best to come to me quickly;
Procura vir ter comigo depressa.
10 for Demas, loving this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica—Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
Porque Demas me desamparou, amando o presente século, e foi para Tessalônica, Crescente para Galacia, Tito para Dalmácia. (aiōn g165)
11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry.
Só Lucas está comigo. Toma Marcos, e tra-lo contigo, porque me é muito útil para o ministério.
12 Tychicus I sent to Ephesus.
Também enviei Tycico a Éfeso.
13 Bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, when you come—and the books, especially the parchments.
Quando vieres traze a capa que deixei em Troade, em casa de Carpo, e os livros, principalmente os pergaminhos.
14 Alexander the coppersmith did me a lot of harm; may the Lord repay him according to his deeds.
Alexandre, o latoeiro, ocasionou-me muitos males; o Senhor lhe pague segundo as suas obras.
15 You also guard against him, because he strongly opposed our words.
Tu guarda-te também dele; porque resistiu muito às nossas palavras.
16 At my first defense no one came to help me, but all deserted me. May it not be held against them.
Ninguém me assistiu na minha primeira defesa, antes todos me desampararam. Oxalá isto lhes não seja imputado.
17 But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the nations might hear. Also, I was delivered out of a lion's mouth;
Mas o Senhor assistiu-me e fortaleceu-me, para que por mim fosse cumprida a pregação, e todos os gentios a ouvissem; e fiquei livre da boca do leão.
18 and the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and save me into His heavenly Kingdom; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
E o Senhor me livrará de toda a má obra, e guardar-me-á para o seu reino celestial; a quem seja glória para todo o sempre. amém. (aiōn g165)

22 The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. The Grace be with you. Amen.
