2 John 1
1 The elder, to the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth—and not I only, but also all who have known the Truth—
ⲁ̅ⲡⲓ⳿ⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛϯⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲕⲩⲣⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲥϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲛⲏ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⳿ⲉϯⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲟⲩⲉⲛ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ.
ⲃ̅ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ ϣⲁ ⲉⲛⲉϩ. (aiōn g165)
3 Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, will be with you in truth and love.
ⲅ̅⳿ⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲫⲛⲁⲓ ⳿ⲧϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ.
4 It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in truth, just as we received commandment from the Father.
ⲇ̅ⲁⲓⲣⲁϣⲓ ⳿ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲓϫⲓⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲛϭⲓ ⳿ⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ.
5 And now I put a request to you, lady (not as though writing a new commandment to you, but one that we have from the beginning): that we love one another.
ⲉ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ϯϯϩⲟ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟ ⲕⲩⲣⲓⲁ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⳿ⲙⲃⲉⲣⲓ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉϯ⳿ⲥϧⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲑⲏ ⲉⲛⲁⲥ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲉⲛ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϩⲏ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ.
6 And this is the love, that we live according to His commandments—this is the commandment, just as you heard from the beginning, that you should live according to it.
ⲋ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ϯ ⳿ⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϩⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ.
7 Now many deceivers have come into the world, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in flesh—this is the deceiver, even the Antichrist!
ⲍ̅ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲗⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉⲉⲣⲟⲙⲟⲗⲟⲅⲓⲛ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛⲒⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲡⲗⲁⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲁⲛⲧⲓ⳿ⲭⲣⲓⲥⲧⲟⲥ.
8 Look to yourselves, so that we not lose the things for which we worked but may receive a full reward.
ⲏ̅ⲥⲟⲙⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲧⲁⲕⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲃⲉⲭⲉ ⲉϥϫⲏⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
9 Anyone who turns aside and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; but whoever continues in Christ's teaching does have both the Father and the Son.
ⲑ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲟϩⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁⲩⲁⲑⲛⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲟϩⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ.
10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house; do not even tell him, “I wish you well,”
ⲓ̅ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲓ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣ⳿ⲟⲗϥ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲏⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲭⲉⲣⲉ.
11 because whoever tells him, “I wish you well,” participates in his malignant works.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲭⲉⲣⲉ ⳿ϥⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⳿ⲉⲛⲉϥ⳿ϩⲃⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲉⲧϩⲱⲟⲩ.
12 Although I had many things to write to you, I did not wish to do so with paper and ink; instead I hope to come to you and speak face to face, so that our joy may be complete.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛϯ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲉⲥϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϫⲱⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲗⲁ ϯⲉⲣϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲣⲟ ⲟⲩⲃⲉ ⲣⲟ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲣⲁϣⲓ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥϫⲏⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
13 The children of your elect sister greet you. Amen.
