2 Corinthians 1
1 Paul, apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and brother Timothy, to the church of God that is in Corinth, together with all the saints throughout Achaia:
ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யேச்ச²யா யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ப்ரேரித: பௌலஸ்திமதி²ர்ப்⁴ராதா ச த்³வாவேதௌ கரிந்த²நக³ரஸ்தா²யை ஈஸ்²வரீயஸமிதய ஆகா²யாதே³ஸ²ஸ்தே²ப்⁴ய: ஸர்வ்வேப்⁴ய: பவித்ரலோகேப்⁴யஸ்²ச பத்ரம்’ லிக²த: |
2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and Sovereign Jesus Christ.
அஸ்மாகம்’ தாதஸ்யேஸ்²வரஸ்ய ப்ரபோ⁴ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய சாநுக்³ரஹ: ஸா²ந்திஸ்²ச யுஷ்மாஸு வர்த்ததாம்’|
3 All praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and God of all encouragement,
க்ரு’பாலு: பிதா ஸர்வ்வஸாந்த்வநாகாரீஸ்²வரஸ்²ச யோ(அ)ஸ்மத்ப்ரபோ⁴ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய தாத ஈஸ்²வர: ஸ த⁴ந்யோ ப⁴வது|
4 who encourages us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to encourage those who are in whatever affliction, by means of the encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged by God.
யதோ வயம் ஈஸ்²வராத் ஸாந்த்வநாம்’ ப்ராப்ய தயா ஸாந்த்வநயா யத் ஸர்வ்வவித⁴க்லிஷ்டாந் லோகாந் ஸாந்த்வயிதும்’ ஸ²க்நுயாம தத³ர்த²ம்’ ஸோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ ஸர்வ்வக்லேஸ²ஸமயே(அ)ஸ்மாந் ஸாந்த்வயதி|
5 Because just as the sufferings of the Christ flow over into us, so also our encouraging overflows, through Christ.
யத: க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய க்லேஸா² யத்³வத்³ பா³ஹுல்யேநாஸ்மாஸு வர்த்தந்தே தத்³வத்³ வயம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டேந ப³ஹுஸாந்த்வநாட்⁴யா அபி ப⁴வாம: |
6 Now then, if we are afflicted, it is for the sake of your encouragement and deliverance, that are effective for enduring the same sufferings that we also are suffering
வயம்’ யதி³ க்லிஸ்²யாமஹே தர்ஹி யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸாந்த்வநாபரித்ராணயோ: க்ரு’தே க்லிஸ்²யாமஹே யதோ(அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்யாத்³ரு’ஸா²நி து³: கா²நி ஸஹ்யந்தே யுஷ்மாகம்’ தாத்³ரு’ஸ²து³: கா²நாம்’ ஸஹநேந தௌ ஸாத⁴யிஷ்யேதே இத்யஸ்மிந் யுஷ்மாநதி⁴ மம த்³ரு’டா⁴ ப்ரத்யாஸா² ப⁴வதி|
7 (yes, our hope concerning you is steadfast); if we are encouraged, it also is for the sake of your encouragement and deliverance, since we know that you will share in the encouragement just as you do in the sufferings.
யதி³ வா வயம்’ ஸாந்த்வநாம்’ லபா⁴மஹே தர்ஹி யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸாந்த்வநாபரித்ராணயோ: க்ரு’தே தாமபி லபா⁴மஹே| யதோ யூயம்’ யாத்³ரு’க்³ து³: கா²நாம்’ பா⁴கி³நோ(அ)ப⁴வத தாத்³ரு’க் ஸாந்த்வநாயா அபி பா⁴கி³நோ ப⁴விஷ்யதே²தி வயம்’ ஜாநீம: |
8 And so, brothers, we do not want you to be in ignorance concerning the affliction that came upon us in Asia: we were under extreme pressure, beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life.
ஹே ப்⁴ராதர: , ஆஸி²யாதே³ஸே² ய: க்லேஸோ²(அ)ஸ்மாந் ஆக்ராம்யத் தம்’ யூயம்’ யத்³ அநவக³தாஸ்திஷ்ட²த தந்மயா ப⁴த்³ரம்’ ந மந்யதே| தேநாதிஸ²க்திக்லேஸே²ந வயமதீவ பீடி³தாஸ்தஸ்மாத் ஜீவநரக்ஷணே நிருபாயா ஜாதாஸ்²ச,
9 Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, so that we not place confidence in ourselves, but in the God who raises the dead;
அதோ வயம்’ ஸ்வேஷு ந விஸ்²வஸ்ய ம்ரு’தலோகாநாம் உத்தா²பயிதரீஸ்²வரே யத்³ விஸ்²வாஸம்’ குர்ம்மஸ்தத³ர்த²ம் அஸ்மாபி⁴: ப்ராணத³ண்டோ³ போ⁴க்தவ்ய இதி ஸ்வமநஸி நிஸ்²சிதம்’|
10 He did deliver us from that deadly peril, and still delivers; in whom we trust that He will keep on delivering,
ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ²ப⁴யங்கராத் ம்ரு’த்யோ ர்யோ (அ)ஸ்மாந் அத்ராயதேதா³நீமபி த்ராயதே ஸ இத: பரமப்யஸ்மாந் த்ராஸ்யதே (அ)ஸ்மாகம் ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸீ² ப்ரத்யாஸா² வித்³யதே|
11 you also adding your cooperation in prayer, on our behalf; that thanks may be given by many persons for the gift bestowed on us by means of many, on your behalf.
ஏதத³ர்த²மஸ்மத்க்ரு’தே ப்ரார்த²நயா வயம்’ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ருபகர்த்தவ்யாஸ்ததா² க்ரு’தே ப³ஹுபி⁴ ர்யாசிதோ யோ(அ)நுக்³ரஹோ(அ)ஸ்மாஸு வர்த்திஷ்யதே தத்க்ரு’தே ப³ஹுபி⁴ரீஸ்²வரஸ்ய த⁴ந்யவாதோ³(அ)பி காரிஷ்யதே|
12 Now this is our boast: the testimony of our conscience that we have conducted ourselves in the world with openness and godly sincerity, not by fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and especially toward you.
அபரஞ்ச ஸம்’ஸாரமத்⁴யே விஸே²ஷதோ யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே வயம்’ ஸாம்’ஸாரிக்யா தி⁴யா நஹி கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரஸ்யாநுக்³ரஹேணாகுடிலதாம் ஈஸ்²வரீயஸாரல்யஞ்சாசரிதவந்தோ(அ)த்ராஸ்மாகம்’ மநோ யத் ப்ரமாணம்’ த³தா³தி தேந வயம்’ ஸ்²லாகா⁴மஹே|
13 For we do not write you any other things than what you can read and understand; and I do hope that you will keep on understanding to the end
யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்யத்³ யத் பட்²யதே க்³ரு’ஹ்யதே ச தத³ந்யத் கிமபி யுஷ்மப்⁴யம் அஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்ந லிக்²யதே தச்சாந்தம்’ யாவத்³ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்க்³ரஹீஷ்யத இத்யஸ்மாகம் ஆஸா²|
14 (as indeed some of you have acknowledged) that we are your boast, just as you are ours, in the day of the Lord Jesus.
யூயமித: பூர்வ்வமப்யஸ்மாந் அம்’ஸ²தோ க்³ரு’ஹீதவந்த: , யத: ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய தி³நே யத்³வத்³ யுஷ்மாஸ்வஸ்மாகம்’ ஸ்²லாகா⁴ தத்³வத்³ அஸ்மாஸு யுஷ்மாகமபி ஸ்²லாகா⁴ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
15 It was in this confidence that I was planning to come by you first,
அபரம்’ யூயம்’ யத்³ த்³விதீயம்’ வரம்’ லப⁴த்⁴வே தத³ர்த²மித: பூர்வ்வம்’ தயா ப்ரத்யாஸ²யா யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபம்’ க³மிஷ்யாமி
16 and by you to proceed into Macedonia, and to come back to you from Macedonia (that you might benefit twice), and then to be sent by you on my way to Judea.
யுஷ்மத்³தே³ஸே²ந மாகித³நியாதே³ஸ²ம்’ வ்ரஜித்வா புநஸ்தஸ்மாத் மாகித³நியாதே³ஸா²த் யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபம் ஏத்ய யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்யிஹூதா³தே³ஸ²ம்’ ப்ரேஷயிஷ்யே சேதி மம வாஞ்சா²ஸீத்|
17 Now then, when I was deciding this, I was not acting frivolously, was I? Or the things I decide, do I decide according to the flesh, so that with me there would be both “Yes, yes” and “No, no”?
ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸீ² மந்த்ரணா மயா கிம்’ சாஞ்சல்யேந க்ரு’தா? யத்³ யத்³ அஹம்’ மந்த்ரயே தத் கிம்’ விஷயிலோகஇவ மந்த்ரயாண ஆதௌ³ ஸ்வீக்ரு’த்ய பஸ்²சாத்³ அஸ்வீகுர்வ்வே?
18 As God is faithful, our word to you was not “Yes” and “No”,
யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரதி மயா கதி²தாநி வாக்யாந்யக்³ரே ஸ்வீக்ரு’தாநி ஸே²ஷே(அ)ஸ்வீக்ரு’தாநி நாப⁴வந் ஏதேநேஸ்²வரஸ்ய விஸ்²வஸ்ததா ப்ரகாஸ²தே|
19 because the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was proclaimed among you by us—by me and Silvanus and Timothy—was not “Yes” and “No”. In fact, with Him it has always been “Yes”,
மயா ஸில்வாநேந திமதி²நா சேஸ்²வரஸ்ய புத்ரோ யோ யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டோ யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே கோ⁴ஷித: ஸ தேந ஸ்வீக்ரு’த: புநரஸ்வீக்ரு’தஸ்²ச தந்நஹி கிந்து ஸ தஸ்ய ஸ்வீகாரஸ்வரூபஏவ|
20 because all the promises of God in Him are “Yes”; indeed, in Him they are “Amen”, that there be glory to God through us.
ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய மஹிமா யத்³ அஸ்மாபி⁴: ப்ரகாஸே²த தத³ர்த²ம் ஈஸ்²வரேண யத்³ யத் ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாதம்’ தத்ஸர்வ்வம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டேந ஸ்வீக்ரு’தம்’ ஸத்யீபூ⁴தஞ்ச|
21 Now He who establishes us together with you into Christ, and who anointed us, is God,
யுஷ்மாந் அஸ்மாம்’ஸ்²சாபி⁴ஷிச்ய ய: க்²ரீஷ்டே ஸ்தா²ஸ்நூந் கரோதி ஸ ஈஸ்²வர ஏவ|
22 who also sealed us and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.
ஸ சாஸ்மாந் முத்³ராங்கிதாந் அகார்ஷீத் ஸத்யாங்காரஸ்ய பணக²ரூபம் ஆத்மாநம்’ அஸ்மாகம் அந்த: கரணேஷு நிரக்ஷிபச்ச|
23 For my part, I call on God as witness, upon my soul, that it was to spare you that I have not yet returned to Corinth.
அபரம்’ யுஷ்மாஸு கருணாம்’ குர்வ்வந் அஹம் ஏதாவத்காலம்’ யாவத் கரிந்த²நக³ரம்’ ந க³தவாந் இதி ஸத்யமேதஸ்மிந் ஈஸ்²வரம்’ ஸாக்ஷிணம்’ க்ரு’த்வா மயா ஸ்வப்ராணாநாம்’ ஸ²பத²: க்ரியதே|
24 (Not that we have control over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, for it is by faith that you stand firm.)
வயம்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸஸ்ய நியந்தாரோ ந ப⁴வாம: கிந்து யுஷ்மாகம் ஆநந்த³ஸ்ய ஸஹாயா ப⁴வாம: , யஸ்மாத்³ விஸ்²வாஸே யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸ்தி²தி ர்ப⁴வதி|
