1 Timothy 3

1 Here is a trustworthy word: if a man aspires to the position of overseer, he desires a good work.

၁သင်းအုပ် အရာကို တောင့်တ သောသူ သည် ကောင်း သော အမှုအရာ ကို တောင့်တ သည်ဟုသော စကားသည် မှန် သောစကား ဖြစ် ၏။

2 Now then, it is obligatory for the overseer to be above reproach, a one woman man, temperate, sensible, respectable, hospitable, good at teaching,

၂ထိုကြောင့် ၊ သင်းအုပ် သည် အပြစ်တင် ခွင့်နှင့် ကင်းလွတ်သောသူ၊ မယား တစ်ယောက်တည်း ရှိသောသူ၊ သမ္မာ သတိရှိသောသူ၊ ဣန္ဒြေ စောင့်သောသူ၊ လျောက်ပတ် စွာ ကျင့်သောသူ၊ ဧည့်သည် ဝတ်ကို ပြုတတ်သောသူ၊ ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေးတတ်သောသူ ဖြစ် ရ မည်။

3 not a drinker, not a bully, not corrupt [financially], but gentle, peaceful, not greedy;

၃စပျစ်ရည် နှင့်ပျော်မွေ့ခြင်း၊ သူတစ်ပါးကိုရိုက်ပုတ်ခြင်း၊ မ စင်ကြယ်သော စီးပွားကိုတပ်မက်ခြင်းမ ရှိ၊ စိတ် ဖြည်းညှင်းသောသူ၊ ရန် မတွေ့တတ်သောသူ၊ ငွေ ကို မတပ်မက်သောသူဖြစ်ရမည်။

4 one who rules his own house well, having children who obey him with due respect

၄မိမိ အိမ် ကိုကောင်းမွန် စွာ အုပ်စိုး ၍ သမ္မာ သမာဓိရှိ သည်နှင့် ၊ မိမိ သားသမီး ကို ဆုံးမနိုင်သောသူ ဖြစ်ရမည်။

5 (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how can he take care of God's congregation?);

၅မိမိ အိမ် ကိုမ အုပ်စိုး တတ်လျှင် ၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ အသင်းတော် ကို အဘယ်သို့ ပြုစု လိမ့်မည်နည်း။

6 not a recent convert, lest being puffed up he fall into the same judgment that the devil did.

၆မာန နှင့်ယစ်မူးလျက်၊ မာရ်နတ် ၏ အပြစ် ရောက်မည်ဟု စိုးရိမ်စရာ ရှိ၍၊ ဘာသာဝင် လူသစ် မ ဖြစ်ရ။

7 Also, it is necessary for him to have a good reputation with those who are outside the congregation, so as not to fall into reproach and the devil's snare.

၇ကဲ့ရဲ့ ပြစ်တင်ခြင်း၊ မာရ်နတ် ဘမ်းမိ ခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ် မည်အကြောင်း၊ ပြင်ပ လူတို့တွင် အသရေရှိ သောသူ ဖြစ်ရ မည်။

8 Similarly, deacons must be respectable, not deceitful, not heavy drinkers, not corrupt [financially];

၈ထိုနည်းတူ ၊ သင်းထောက် တို့သည် တည်ကြည် သောသူ ဖြစ်ရကြမည်။ လျှာ နှစ်ခွနှင့်ပြောသောသူ၊ စပျစ်ရည် ကိုသောက်ကြူးသောသူ၊ မ စင်ကြယ်သော စီးပွားကို တပ်မက်သောသူ မ ဖြစ်ရကြ။

9 holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience.

၉ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ် သိသောစိတ် စင်ကြယ် သည်နှင့် ၊ ယုံကြည် ခြင်း၏ နက်နဲ သောအရာကို စွဲလမ်း သောသူ ဖြစ်ရကြမည်။

10 But let these also first be tested; then, if they are blameless, let them serve as deacons.

၁၀သူ တို့သည်လည်း ရှေ့မဆွ ကစုံစမ်း ခြင်းကို ခံကြစေ။ နောက်မှ အပြစ်တင် ခွင့်နှင့်ကင်းလွတ်လျှင်၊ သင်းထောက်လုပ် ကြစေ။

11 Similarly, women must be respectable, not slanderers, temperate, trustworthy in everything.

၁၁ထိုနည်းတူ ၊ မိန်းမ တို့သည် တည်ကြည် သောသူဖြစ်ရမည်။ ချောစား တတ်သောသူမ ဟုတ်။ သမ္မာ သတိရှိသောသူ၊ အရာရာ ၌ သစ္စာရှိ သောသူဖြစ်ရကြမည်။

12 Let deacons be one woman men, ruling their children and their own houses well.

၁၂သင်းထောက် သည် မယား တစ်ယောက်တည်း ရှိ ရမည်။ မိမိ သားသမီး နှင့် အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားတို့ကို ကောင်းမွန် စွာ အုပ်ချုပ် သောသူဖြစ်ရမည်။

13 For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and considerable confidence in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

၁၃အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ သင်းထောက်အမှုကို ကောင်း စွာရွက်ဆောင် သော သူ တို့သည် မိမိ တို့အဘို့ ကောင်း သောအရာကို၎င်း၊ ယေရှု ခရစ် ၏ ယုံကြည် ခြင်း၌ ရဲရင့် ခြင်းသတ္တိကို၎င်း အမြတ်ရကြ၏။

14 Although I hope to come to you shortly, I am writing these things to you

၁၄သင် ရှိရာသို့ ငါမြန်မြန် လာ မည်ဟု မြော်လင့် ခြင်းရှိသော်လည်း တာရှည် စွာနေလျှင် ၊ သင်သည် ဘုရားသခင် ၏အိမ် တော်၌ အဘယ်သို့ ကျင့်ကြံ ပြုမူရမည်ကို သိ စေခြင်းငှာ ဤသို့ငါရေး ၍ ပေးလိုက်၏။ ထိုအိမ် တော်ကား၊ အသက် ရှင်တော်မူသောဘုရားသခင် ၏အသင်းတော် ဖြစ် ၏။

15 in case I am delayed, so that you may know how it is necessary to conduct oneself in God's household, which is the Church of the living God, pillar and foundation of the truth.

၁၅ထိုအသင်းတော်ကား၊ သမ္မာတရား၏ အမှီတကဲ ဖြစ်၏။ သမ္မာတရား ၏တည် ရာလည်း ဖြစ်၏။

16 Yes, the mystery of our religion is confessedly great: God was manifested in flesh, was vindicated in spirit, was revealed to angels, was proclaimed among nations, was believed in the world, was received up in glory!

၁၆မှန် သောကိုးကွယ်ခြင်း၏ နက်နဲ သောအရာသည် ကြီးစွာ သောအရာဖြစ် သည်ဟု ငြင်းခုံ ရန်မရှိ။ ဘုရားသခင် သည် ကိုယ်ခန္ဓါ ၌ ပေါ်ထွန်း တော်မူပြီ။ ဟုတ်မှန် တော်မူခြင်းအကြောင်းသည် ဝိညာဉ် တော်အားဖြင့် ထင်ရှားပြီ။ ကောင်းကင်တမန် တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်ကို ရှုမြင် ရကြပြီ။ တစ်ပါး အမျိုးသားတို့သည် သိတင်းတော်ကို ကြား ရကြပြီ။ လောကီသား တို့သည် ယုံကြည် ရကြပြီ။ ဘုန်း အသရေနှင့်တကွ အထက် သို့ ဆောင်ယူခြင်းကို ခံတော်မူပြီ။
