Zechariah 14
1 Behold the days of the Lord shall come, and thy spoils shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Voici que viendront les jours du Seigneur, et seront partagées tes dépouilles au milieu de toi.
2 And I will gather all nations to Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken, and the houses shall be rifled, and the women shall be defiled: and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the rest of the people shall not be taken away out of the city.
Et j’assemblerai toutes les nations à Jérusalem pour le combat, et la cité sera prise, et les maisons seront dévastées, et les femmes seront violées; la moitié des habitants de la cité sortira emmenée en captivité, et le reste du peuple ne sera pas enlevé de la ville.
3 Then the Lord shall go forth, and shall fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Et le Seigneur sortira et combattra contre ces nations, comme il a combattu au jour du combat.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is over against Jerusalem toward the east: and the mount of Olives shall be divided in the midst thereof to the east, and to the west with a very great opening, and half of the mountain shall be separated to the north, and half thereof to the south.
Et ses pieds se poseront en ce jour-là sur la montagne des Oliviers, qui est vis-à-vis de Jérusalem, à l’orient: et la montagne des Oliviers sera fendue par la moitié à l’orient et à l’occident, avec un très grand escarpement, et une moitié de la montagne s’écartera vers l’aquilon et son autre moitié vers le midi.
5 And you shall flee to the valley of those mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall be joined even to the next, and you shall flee as you fled from the face of the earthquake in the days of Ozias king of Juda: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with him.
Et vous fuirez vers la vallée de ces montagnes, parce que la vallée de ces montagnes sera jointe à la montagne voisine; et vous fuirez comme vous avez fui devant le tremblement de terre dans les jours d’Ozias, roi de Juda; et le Seigneur mon Dieu viendra, et tous les saints avec lui.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that there shall be no light, but cold and frost.
Et il arrivera en ce jour-là qu’il n’y aura pas de lumière, mais du froid et de la gelée.
7 And there shall be one day, which is known to the Lord, not day nor night: and in the time of the evening there shall be light.
Et il y aura un jour qui est connu du Seigneur; il ne sera ni jour ni nuit; et au moment du soir il y aura de la lumière.
8 And it shall come to pass in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem: half of them to the east sea, and half of them to the last sea: they shall be in summer and in winter.
Et il arrivera en ce jour-là que des eaux vives sortiront de Jérusalem; la moitié de ces eaux ira à la mer orientale, et leur autre moitié à la dernière mer; en été et en hiver elles existeront.
9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day there shall be one Lord, and his name shall be one.
Et le Seigneur sera roi sur toute la terre; en ce jour-là il sera le Seigneur unique, et son nom sera unique.
10 And all the land shall return even to the desert, from the hill to Remmon to the south of Jerusalem: and she shall be exalted, and shall dwell in her own place, from the gate of Benjamin even to the place of the former gate, and even to the gate of the corners: and from the tower of Hananeel even to the king’s wine-presses.
Toute la terre reviendra jusqu’au désert, depuis la colline jusqu’à Remmon, au midi de Jérusalem; et Jérusalem s’élèvera, et elle habitera en son propre lieu, depuis la porte de Benjamin jusqu’à l’endroit de l’ancienne porte et jusqu’à la porte des angles, et depuis la tour de Hananéel, jusqu’aux pressoirs du roi.
11 And people shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more an anathema: but Jerusalem shall sit secure.
Et on y habitera, et il n’y aura plus d’anathème; mais Jérusalem reposera en sécurité.
12 And this shall be the plague where with the Lord shall strike all nations that have fought against Jerusalem: the flesh of every one shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
Et voici la plaie dont le Seigneur frappera toutes les nations qui ont combattu contre Jérusalem; la chair de quiconque sera debout sur ses pieds se desséchera, et ses yeux se dessécheront dans leur orbite, et sa langue se desséchera dans sa bouche.
13 In that day there shall be a great tumult from the Lord among them: and a man shall take the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall be clasped upon his neighbour’s hand.
En ce jour-là, un grand tumulte du Seigneur sera parmi eux; et un homme prendra la main de son prochain, et sa main s’entrelacera dans la main de son prochain.
14 And even Juda shall fight against Jerusalem: and the riches of all nations round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and garments in great abundance.
Mais Juda aussi combattra contre Jérusalem; et les richesses de toutes les nations d’alentour seront rassemblées: l’or, l’argent et les vêtements en très grand nombre.
15 And the destruction of the horse, and of the mule, and of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts, that shall be in those tents, shall be like this destruction.
Et ainsi sera la destruction du cheval, et du mulet, et du chameau, et de l’âne, et de toutes les bêtes qui se trouveront dans ces camps; elle sera comme cette destruction.
16 And all they that shall be left of all nations that came against Jerusalem, shall go up from year to year, to adore the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Et tous ceux qui seront restés de toutes ces nations qui seront venues contre Jérusalem monteront d’année en année, afin d’adorer le Seigneur Dieu des armées, et de célébrer la fête des tabernacles.
17 And it shall come to pass, that he that shall not go up of the families of the land to Jerusalem, to adore the King, the Lord of hosts, there shall be no rain upon them.
Et il arrivera que celui qui d’une des familles de la terre ne montera pas à Jérusalem, afin d’adorer le roi Seigneur des armées, la pluie ne descendra pas sur lui.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up nor come: neither shall it be upon them, but there shall be destruction wherewith the Lord will strike all nations that will not go up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Que si même la famille d’Egypte ne monte pas et ne vient pas; ce ne sera pas la pluie sur eux, mais ce sera la ruine dont le Seigneur frappera toutes les nations qui ne monteront pas pour célébrer la fête des tabernacles.
19 This shall be the sin of Egypt, and this the sin of all nations, that will not go up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Voilà quelle sera la peine du péché de l’Egypte et de toutes les nations qui ne monteront pas pour célébrer la fête des tabernacles.
20 In that day that which is upon the bridle of the horse shall be holy to the Lord: and the caldrons in the house of the Lord shall be as the phials before the altar.
En ce jour-là, ce qui est sur la bride du cheval sera consacré au Seigneur; et les chaudières seront consacrées dans la maison du Seigneur comme les coupes devant l’autel.
21 And every caldron in Jerusalem and Juda shall be sanctified to the Lord of hosts: and all that sacrifice shall come, and take of them, and shall seethe in them: and the merchant shall be no more in the house of the Lord of hosts in that day.
Et toute chaudière dans Jérusalem et dans Juda sera consacrée au Seigneur des armées; et tous ceux qui sacrifieront s’en serviront, et y feront cuire la chair des victimes, et il n’y aura plus de marchand dans la maison du Seigneur des armées, en ce jour-là.
