Romans 8
1 There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh.
௧ஆனபடியால், கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிற்கு உட்பட்டவர்களாக இருந்து, சரீரத்தின்படி நடக்காமல் ஆவியானவருக்கு ஏற்றபடி நடக்கிறவர்களுக்கு தண்டனைத்தீர்ப்பு இல்லை.
2 For the law of the spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath delivered me from the law of sin and of death.
௨ஜீவனுடைய ஆவியானவரின் பிரமாணம் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிற்குள் என்னைப் பாவம் மரணம் என்பவைகளின் பிரமாணத்திலிருந்து விடுதலையாக்கினதே.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh; God sending his own Son, in the likeness of sinful flesh and of sin, hath condemned sin in the flesh;
௩அது எப்படியென்றால், சரீரத்தினாலே பலவீனமாக்கப்பட்ட நியாயப்பிரமாணம் செய்யமுடியாததை தேவனே செய்வதற்காக, தம்முடைய குமாரனைப் பாவசரீரத்தின் சாயலாகவும், பாவத்தை நீக்கும் பலியாகவும் அனுப்பி, சரீரத்திலே பாவத்தை தண்டனைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்த்தார்.
4 That the justification of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the spirit.
௪சரீரத்தின்படி நடக்காமல் ஆவியானவருக்கு ஏற்றபடி நடக்கிற நம்மிடம் நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் நீதி நிறைவேறுவதற்காகவே அப்படிச் செய்தார்.
5 For they that are according to the flesh, mind the things that are of the flesh; but they that are according to the spirit, mind the things that are of the spirit.
௫அன்றியும் சரீரத்தின்படி நடக்கிறவர்கள் சரீரத்திற்குரியவைகளைச் சிந்திக்கிறார்கள்; ஆவியானவருக்கு ஏற்றபடி நடக்கிறவர்கள் ஆவியானவருக்குரியவைகளைச் சிந்திக்கிறார்கள்.
6 For the wisdom of the flesh is death; but the wisdom of the spirit is life and peace.
௬சரீரசிந்தை மரணம்; ஆவியானவரின் சிந்தையோ ஜீவனும் சமாதானமுமாகும்.
7 Because the wisdom of the flesh is an enemy to God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither can it be.
௭எப்படியென்றால், சரீரசிந்தை தேவனுக்கு எதிரான பகை; அது தேவனுடைய நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமலும், கீழ்ப்படியமுடியாமலும் இருக்கிறது.
8 And they who are in the flesh, cannot please God.
௮சரீரத்திற்கு உட்பட்டவர்கள் தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமாக இருக்கமாட்டார்கள்.
9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
௯தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் உங்களுக்குள் இருந்தால், நீங்கள் சரீரத்திற்கு உட்பட்டவர்களாக இல்லாமல் ஆவியானவருக்கு உட்பட்டவர்களாக இருப்பீர்கள். கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆவியானவர் இல்லாதவன் அவருடையவன் இல்லை.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body indeed is dead, because of sin; but the spirit liveth, because of justification.
௧0மேலும் கிறிஸ்து உங்களுக்குள் இருந்தால் சரீரமானது பாவத்தினிமித்தம் இறந்ததாகவும், ஆவியானது நீதியினிமித்தம் ஜீவனுள்ளதாகவும் இருக்கும்.
11 And if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you; he that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, shall quicken also your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
௧௧அன்றியும் இயேசுவை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து உயிரோடு எழுப்பினவருடைய ஆவியானவர் உங்களுக்குள் இருந்தால், கிறிஸ்துவை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து உயிரோடு எழுப்பினவர் உங்களுக்குள் வாழ்கிற தம்முடைய ஆவியானவராலே மரணத்திற்குரிய உங்களுடைய சரீரங்களையும் உயிர்ப்பிப்பார்.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
௧௨எனவே, சகோதரர்களே, சரீரத்தின்படி பிழைப்பதற்கு நாம் சரீரத்திற்குக் கடனாளிகள் இல்லை.
13 For if you live according to the flesh, you shall die: but if by the Spirit you mortify the deeds of the flesh, you shall live.
௧௩சரீரத்தின்படி பிழைத்தால் இறப்பீர்கள்; ஆவியானவராலே சரீரத்தின் செயல்களை அழித்தால் பிழைப்பீர்கள்.
14 For whosoever are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
௧௪மேலும் எவர்கள் தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவராலே நடத்தப்படுகிறார்களோ, அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய குமாரர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்.
15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba (Father).
௧௫அப்படியே, திரும்பவும் பயப்படுகிறதற்கு நீங்கள் அடிமைத்தனத்தின் ஆவியைப் பெறாமல், ஆவியானவரால், அப்பா பிதாவே என்று கூப்பிடக்கூடிய பிள்ளை என்கிற உரிமையைப் பெற்றீர்கள்.
16 For the Spirit himself giveth testimony to our spirit, that we are the sons of God.
௧௬நாம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாக இருக்கிறோம் என்று ஆவியானவர்தாமே நம்முடைய ஆவியுடனே சாட்சிக் கொடுக்கிறார்.
17 And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God, and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.
௧௭நாம் பிள்ளைகளானால் வாரிசுகளுமாமே; தேவனுடைய வாரிசுகளும், கிறிஸ்துவிற்கு உடன் வாரிசுகளுமாமே; கிறிஸ்துவோடு நாம் மகிமைப்படுவதற்காக அவரோடு பாடுபட்டால் அப்படி ஆகும்.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to come, that shall be revealed in us.
௧௮ஆதலால் இந்தக்காலத்துப் பாடுகள் இனி நம்மிடம் வெளிப்படும் மகிமைக்கு ஒப்பிடக்கூடியவைகள் அல்லவென்று எண்ணுகிறேன்.
19 For the expectation of the creature waiteth for the revelation of the sons of God.
௧௯மேலும் தேவனுடைய குமாரர்கள் வெளிப்படுத்தப்படுவதற்காக தேவனுடைய படைப்புகள் அதிக ஆவலோடு காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him that made it subject, in hope:
௨0அது என்னவென்றால் படைப்புகள் அழிவிற்குரிய அடிமைத்தனத்தில் இருந்து விடுதலையாக்கப்பட்டு, தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்குரிய மகிமையான சுதந்திரத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும் என்கிற நம்பிக்கையோடு,
21 Because the creature also itself shall be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.
௨௧அந்தப் படைப்புகள் சொந்த இஷ்டத்தினாலே இல்லை, கீழ்ப்படுத்தினவராலேயே மாயைக்குக் கீழ்ப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
22 For we know that every creature groaneth and travaileth in pain, even till now.
௨௨எனவே, நமக்குத் தெரிந்திருக்கிறபடி, இதுவரைக்கும் படைப்புகள் எல்லாம் ஒன்றாகத் தவித்துப் பிரசவவேதனைப்படுகிறது.
23 And not only it, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption of the sons of God, the redemption of our body.
௨௩அதுவும் இல்லாமல், ஆவியானவரின் முதற்பலன்களைப் பெற்ற நாமும் நம்முடைய சரீர மீட்பாகிய பிள்ளை என்கிற உரிமை வருகிறதற்குக் காத்திருந்து, நமக்குள்ளே தவிக்கிறோம்.
24 For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen, is not hope. For what a man seeth, why doth he hope for?
௨௪அந்த நம்பிக்கையினாலே நாம் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம். பார்க்கப்படுகிறதை நம்புகிறது நம்பிக்கை இல்லை; ஒருவன் தான் பார்க்கிறதை நம்பவேண்டியது என்ன?
25 But if we hope for that which we see not, we wait for it with patience.
௨௫நாம் பார்க்காததை நம்பினோமானால், அது வருகிறதற்குப் பொறுமையோடு காத்திருப்போம்.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit himself asketh for us with unspeakable groanings.
௨௬அப்படியே ஆவியானவரும் நமது பலவீனங்களில் நமக்கு உதவிசெய்கிறார். நாம் ஏற்றபடி வேண்டிக்கொள்ளவேண்டியது என்னவென்று தெரியாமல் இருக்கிறதினால், ஆவியானவர்தாமே சொல்லிமுடியாத பெருமூச்சுகளோடு நமக்காக வேண்டுதல்செய்கிறார்.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what the Spirit desireth; because he asketh for the saints according to God.
௨௭ஆவியானவர் தேவனுடைய விருப்பத்தின்படியே பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்காக வேண்டுதல்செய்கிறதினால், இருதயங்களை ஆராய்ந்து பார்க்கிறவர் ஆவியானவரின் சிந்தை என்னவென்று அறிவார்.
28 And we know that to them that love God, all things work together unto good, to such as, according to his purpose, are called to be saints.
௨௮அன்றியும், அவருடைய தீர்மானத்தின்படி அழைக்கப்பட்டவர்களாக தேவனிடம் அன்பாக இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு எல்லாம் நன்மைக்குரியவைகளாக நடக்கிறது என்று அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்.
29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be made conformable to the image of his Son; that he might be the firstborn amongst many brethren.
௨௯தம்முடைய குமாரன் அநேக சகோதரர்களுக்குள்ளே முதற்பேறானவராக இருப்பதற்காக, தேவன் எவர்களை முன்னறிந்தாரோ அவர்களைத் தமது குமாரனுடைய சாயலுக்கு ஒப்பாக இருப்பதற்கு முன்குறித்திருக்கிறார்;
30 And whom he predestinated, them he also called. And whom he called, them he also justified. And whom he justified, them he also glorified.
௩0எவர்களை முன்குறித்தாரோ அவர்களை அழைத்தும் இருக்கிறார்; எவர்களை அழைத்தாரோ அவர்களை நீதிமான்களாக்கியும் இருக்கிறார்; எவர்களை நீதிமான்களாக்கினாரோ அவர்களை மகிமைப்படுத்தியும் இருக்கிறார்.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us?
௩௧இவைகளைக்குறித்து நாம் என்னசொல்லுவோம்? தேவன் நம்முடைய பட்சத்தில் இருந்தால் நமக்கு எதிராக இருப்பவன் யார்?
32 He that spared not even his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how hath he not also, with him, given us all things?
௩௨தம்முடைய சொந்தக்குமாரன் என்றும் பார்க்காமல் நம்மெல்லோருக்காகவும் அவரை ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தவர், அவரோடு சேர்த்து மற்ற எல்லாவற்றையும் நமக்குக் கொடுக்காமல் இருப்பது எப்படி?
33 Who shall accuse against the elect of God? God that justifieth.
௩௩தேவன் தெரிந்துகொண்டவர்கள்மேல் குற்றஞ்சாட்டுகிறவன் யார்? தேவனே அவர்களை நீதிமான்களாக்குகிறவர்.
34 Who is he that shall condemn? Christ Jesus that died, yea that is risen also again; who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
௩௪தண்டனைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்க்கிறவன் யார்? கிறிஸ்துவே மரித்தவர்; அவரே உயிரோடு எழுந்தும் இருக்கிறவர்; அவரே தேவனுடைய வலதுபக்கத்திலும் இருக்கிறவர்; நமக்காக வேண்டுதல் செய்கிறவரும் அவரே.
35 Who then shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? or distress? or famine? or nakedness? or danger? or persecution? or the sword?
௩௫“உமக்காக எந்தநேரமும் கொல்லப்படுகிறோம், அடிக்கப்படும் ஆடுகளைப்போல எண்ணப்படுகிறோம்” என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி நடந்தாலும்,
36 (As it is written: For thy sake we are put to death all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.)
௩௬கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பைவிட்டு நம்மைப் பிரிப்பவன் யார்? உபத்திரவமோ, வியாகுலமோ, துன்பமோ, பசியோ, நிர்வாணமோ. நாசமோசமோ, பட்டயமோ?
37 But in all these things we overcome, because of him that hath loved us.
௩௭இவைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலேயும் நாம் நம்மேல் அன்பு வைத்திருக்கிறவராலே முற்றிலும் வெற்றி பெறுகிறவர்களாக இருக்கிறோமே.
38 For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor might,
௩௮மரணமானாலும், ஜீவனானாலும், தேவதூதர்களானாலும், அதிகாரங்களானாலும், வல்லமைகளானாலும் நிகழ்காரியங்களானாலும், வரும்காரியங்களானாலும்,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
௩௯உயர்வானாலும், தாழ்வானாலும், வேறெந்தப் படைப்புகளானாலும் நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிலுள்ள தேவனுடைய அன்பைவிட்டு நம்மைப் பிரிக்கமுடியாது என்று நம்பியிருக்கிறேன்.
