< Romans 7 >

1 Know you not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law, ) that the law hath dominion over a man, as long as it liveth?
Nohoile bhai khan, apuni khan pora najane naki (kelemane kun niyom jani kene ase taikhan logote moi koi ase), ekjon manu jinda thaka tak niyom pora taike bandi kene thake?
2 For the woman that hath an husband, whilst her husband liveth is bound to the law. But if her husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
Kelemane, ekjon shadi kori kene thaka maiki to tai laga mota jinda thaka tak tai laga niyom hisab te thake, kintu jodi tai laga mota mori jai, titia tai shadi kori kene thaka niyom pora ajad hoijai.
3 Therefore, whilst her husband liveth, she shall be called an adulteress, if she be with another man: but if her husband be dead, she is delivered from the law of her husband; so that she is not an adulteress, if she be with another man.
Thik etu nisena, jodi tai mota jinda thaki kene, dusra ekjon logot thaki jaile taike bebichari eneka kobo. Kintu jodi tai laga mota mori jai, tai niyom pora ajadi paise aru etu pichete, jodi tai dusra mota logot shadi korile bhi, tai bebichar nohoi.
4 Therefore, my brethren, you also are become dead to the law, by the body of Christ; that you may belong to another, who is risen again from the dead, that we may bring forth fruit to God.
Etu nisena, moi laga bhai khan, apuni khan ke bhi Khrista laga gaw dwara niyom te mori jaise. Etu huwa pora, Tai kunke mora pora jinda hoise, Tai logot te amikhan ekjon-ekjon milai loi kene, amikhan Isor nimite phol dhoribo karone ase.
5 For when we were in the flesh, the passions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members, to bring forth fruit unto death.
Kelemane kitia amikhan gaw mangso te thakise, niyom pora amikhan paap laga itcha to uthai dikene, amikhan laga gaw alag-alag bhag te kaam kori thakise aru etu pora mora laga phol dhuri thakise.
6 But now we are loosed from the law of death, wherein we were detained; so that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Kintu ki pora amikhan ke dhuri kene aru bandhi kene thakise amikhan etu niyom pora etiya mukti paise. Etu nimite likhi thaka purana niyom pora nohoi, kintu Atma laga notun jibon te amikhan sewa koribo nimite.
7 What shall we say, then? Is the law sin? God forbid. But I do not know sin, but by the law; for I had not known concupiscence, if the law did not say: Thou shalt not covet.
Tinehoile etiya amikhan pora ki kobo? Kanun to paap ase naki? Kitia bhi nohobi. Hoilebi, jodi etu niyom pora nohoi koile, moi paap to najani bole thakise. Kelemane niyom pora “Apuni lalos nakuribo” eneka likhi nai koile, moi lalos kora ki ase najani bole ase.
8 But sin taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
Kintu paap pora hukum kotha ki ase etu loi kene moike bisi lalos kori bole dise. Kelemane, niyom nathakile, paap nijor to mori kene he ase.
9 And I lived some time without the law. But when the commandment came, sin revived,
Moi niyom nathaka age te ekbar to jinda thakise, kintu kitia hukum ahise, paap to arubi jinda hoise,
10 And I died. And the commandment that was ordained to life, the same was found to be unto death to me.
aru moi morise. Juntu hukum hisab te jibon anibole kotha thakisele, utu to ulta, moi nimite, mora he anise.
11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, seduced me, and by it killed me.
Kelemane paap pora etu hukum to loi kene moike thogaise. Aru hukum dwara moike morai dise.
12 Wherefore the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
Etu karone niyom to pobitro ase, aru hukum to pobitro ase, aru dharmik aru bhal ase.
13 Was that then which is good, made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it may appear sin, by that which is good, wrought death in me; that sin, by the commandment, might become sinful above measure.
Tinehoile, ki bhal ase etu pora he moike mrityu anidise naki? Eneka hobo nadibi. Kintu etu paap pora, ki bhal ase etu loi kene moike morai dibole thakise. Titia hoile he paap to paap ase eneka janibo, aru paap to bisi biya ase eneka hukum pora dikhai dibo nimite thakise.
14 For we know that the law is spiritual; but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Kelemane amikhan jane niyom to atmik ase, kintu moi gaw mangso laga ase. Aru moike paap laga sewkai te bikiri korise.
15 For that which I work, I understand not. For I do not that good which I will; but the evil which I hate, that I do.
Nijor pora ki kaam kore, moi bujhi bo napare. Kelemane moi ki itcha ase, etu moi nakore. Kintu ki moi ghin kore, etu he moi kori thake.
16 If then I do that which I will not, I consent to the law, that it is good.
Jodi moi ki bhal napai etu he kori thake, titia niyom to bhal ase eneka moi nijor pora niyom kowa mani loi ase.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Etu karone ki kori ase etu etiya moi nohoi, kintu moi logote jivit thaka paap pora he ase.
18 For I know that there dwelleth not in me, that is to say, in my flesh, that which is good. For to will, is present with me; but to accomplish that which is good, I find not.
Kelemane moi laga gaw mangso logot te thaka to bhal eku nai, etu moi jani ase. Kelemane ki hosa ase etu kori bole moi itcha ase kintu etu kori lobole takot he nai.
19 For the good which I will, I do not; but the evil which I will not, that I do.
Kelemane bhal kaam ki moi kori bole itcha ase, etu nakore, kintu ki paap moi kori bole mon nai, etu he moi kori thake.
20 Now if I do that which I will not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Etiya jodi moi kori bole mon nathaka kori ase koile, etu moi nohoi, kintu moi logot te jivit thaka paap pora he kori ase.
21 I find then a law, that when I have a will to do good, evil is present with me.
Etu hoile, moi bujhi pai ase, moi bhal kaam to kori bole itcha ase, kintu utu paap moi logote ase.
22 For I am delighted with the law of God, according to the inward man:
Kelemane moi laga mon bhitor te thaka manu pora Isor laga niyom te khushi pai.
23 But I see another law in my members, fighting against the law of my mind, and captivating me in the law of sin, that is in my members.
Kintu dusra niyom ekjon pora moi laga gaw laga alag-alag bhag te ase. Etu pora moi laga bhabona logote lorai kori ase. Moi laga gaw laga bhag te thaka paap laga niyom pora moike bandi kene rakhe.
24 Unhappy man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Moi kiman dukh manu ase! Kun pora moike etu mori bole laga gaw pora bachai dibo?
25 The grace of God, by Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore, I myself, with the mind serve the law of God; but with the flesh, the law of sin.
Kintu Probhu Jisu Khrista dwara Isor ke dhanyavad diya ase! Etu karone, etiya moi nijor mon pora Isor ke sewa kori ase. Kintu, moi laga gaw, juntu mangso te ase, etu pora he paap laga niyom cholai ase.
