Romans 6
1 What shall we say, then? shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
ப்ரபூ⁴தரூபேண யத்³ அநுக்³ரஹ: ப்ரகாஸ²தே தத³ர்த²ம்’ பாபே திஷ்டா²ம இதி வாக்யம்’ கிம்’ வயம்’ வதி³ஷ்யாம: ? தந்ந ப⁴வது|
2 God forbid. For we that are dead to sin, how shall we live any longer therein?
பாபம்’ ப்ரதி ம்ரு’தா வயம்’ புநஸ்தஸ்மிந் கத²ம் ஜீவிஷ்யாம: ?
3 Know you not that all we, who are baptized in Christ Jesus, are baptized in his death?
வயம்’ யாவந்தோ லோகா யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டே மஜ்ஜிதா அப⁴வாம தாவந்த ஏவ தஸ்ய மரணே மஜ்ஜிதா இதி கிம்’ யூயம்’ ந ஜாநீத²?
4 For we are buried together with him by baptism into death; that as Christ is risen from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also may walk in newness of life.
ததோ யதா² பிது: பராக்ரமேண ஸ்²மஸா²நாத் க்²ரீஷ்ட உத்தா²பிதஸ்ததா² வயமபி யத் நூதநஜீவிந இவாசராமஸ்தத³ர்த²ம்’ மஜ்ஜநேந தேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ ம்ரு’த்யுரூபே ஸ்²மஸா²நே ஸம்’ஸ்தா²பிதா: |
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection.
அபரம்’ வயம்’ யதி³ தேந ஸம்’யுக்தா: ஸந்த: ஸ இவ மரணபா⁴கி³நோ ஜாதாஸ்தர்ஹி ஸ இவோத்தா²நபா⁴கி³நோ(அ)பி ப⁴விஷ்யாம: |
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin may be destroyed, to the end that we may serve sin no longer.
வயம்’ யத் பாபஸ்ய தா³ஸா: புந ர்ந ப⁴வாமஸ்தத³ர்த²ம் அஸ்மாகம்’ பாபரூபஸ²ரீரஸ்ய விநாஸா²ர்த²ம் அஸ்மாகம்’ புராதநபுருஷஸ்தேந ஸாகம்’ க்ருஸே²(அ)ஹந்யதேதி வயம்’ ஜாநீம: |
7 For he that is dead is justified from sin.
யோ ஹத: ஸ பாபாத் முக்த ஏவ|
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall live also together with Christ:
அதஏவ யதி³ வயம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் அஹந்யாமஹி தர்ஹி புநரபி தேந ஸஹிதா ஜீவிஷ்யாம இத்யத்ராஸ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸோ வித்³யதே|
9 Knowing that Christ rising again from the dead, dieth now no more, death shall no more have dominion over him.
யத: ஸ்²மஸா²நாத்³ உத்தா²பித: க்²ரீஷ்டோ புந ர்ந ம்ரியத இதி வயம்’ ஜாநீம: | தஸ்மிந் கோப்யதி⁴காரோ ம்ரு’த்யோ ர்நாஸ்தி|
10 For in that he died to sin, he died once; but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God:
அபரஞ்ச ஸ யத்³ அம்ரியத தேநைகதா³ பாபம் உத்³தி³ஸ்²யாம்ரியத, யச்ச ஜீவதி தேநேஸ்²வரம் உத்³தி³ஸ்²ய ஜீவதி;
11 So do you also reckon, that you are dead to sin, but alive unto God, in Christ Jesus our Lord.
தத்³வத்³ யூயமபி ஸ்வாந் பாபம் உத்³தி³ஸ்²ய ம்ரு’தாந் அஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரபு⁴ணா யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டேநேஸ்²வரம் உத்³தி³ஸ்²ய ஜீவந்தோ ஜாநீத|
12 Let no sin therefore reign in your mortal body, so as to obey the lusts thereof.
அபரஞ்ச குத்ஸிதாபி⁴லாஷாந் பூரயிதும்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ மர்த்யதே³ஹேஷு பாபம் ஆதி⁴பத்யம்’ ந கரோது|
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of iniquity unto sin; but present yourselves to God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of justice unto God.
அபரம்’ ஸ்வம்’ ஸ்வம் அங்க³ம் அத⁴ர்ம்மஸ்யாஸ்த்ரம்’ க்ரு’த்வா பாபஸேவாயாம்’ ந ஸமர்பயத, கிந்து ஸ்²மஸா²நாத்³ உத்தி²தாநிவ ஸ்வாந் ஈஸ்²வரே ஸமர்பயத ஸ்வாந்யங்கா³நி ச த⁴ர்ம்மாஸ்த்ரஸ்வரூபாணீஸ்²வரம் உத்³தி³ஸ்²ய ஸமர்பயத|
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you; for you are not under the law, but under grace.
யுஷ்மாகம் உபரி பாபஸ்யாதி⁴பத்யம்’ புந ர்ந ப⁴விஷ்யதி, யஸ்மாத்³ யூயம்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²யா அநாயத்தா அநுக்³ரஹஸ்ய சாயத்தா அப⁴வத|
15 What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
கிந்து வயம்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²யா அநாயத்தா அநுக்³ரஹஸ்ய சாயத்தா அப⁴வாம, இதி காரணாத் கிம்’ பாபம்’ கரிஷ்யாம: ? தந்ந ப⁴வது|
16 Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are whom you obey, whether it be of sin unto death, or of obedience unto justice.
யதோ ம்ரு’திஜநகம்’ பாபம்’ புண்யஜநகம்’ நிதே³ஸா²சரணஞ்சைதயோர்த்³வயோ ர்யஸ்மிந் ஆஜ்ஞாபாலநார்த²ம்’ ப்⁴ரு’த்யாநிவ ஸ்வாந் ஸமர்பயத², தஸ்யைவ ப்⁴ரு’த்யா ப⁴வத², ஏதத் கிம்’ யூயம்’ ந ஜாநீத²?
17 But thanks be to God, that you were the servants of sin, but have obeyed from the heart, unto that form of doctrine, into which you have been delivered.
அபரஞ்ச பூர்வ்வம்’ யூயம்’ பாபஸ்ய ப்⁴ரு’த்யா ஆஸ்தேதி ஸத்யம்’ கிந்து யஸ்யாம்’ ஸி²க்ஷாரூபாயாம்’ மூஷாயாம்’ நிக்ஷிப்தா அப⁴வத தஸ்யா ஆக்ரு’திம்’ மநோபி⁴ ர்லப்³த⁴வந்த இதி காரணாத்³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய த⁴ந்யவாதோ³ ப⁴வது|
18 Being then freed from sin, we have been made servants of justice.
இத்த²ம்’ யூயம்’ பாபஸேவாதோ முக்தா: ஸந்தோ த⁴ர்ம்மஸ்ய ப்⁴ரு’த்யா ஜாதா: |
19 I speak an human thing, because of the infirmity of your flesh. For as you have yielded your members to serve uncleanness and iniquity, unto iniquity; so now yield your members to serve justice, unto sanctification.
யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸா²ரீரிக்யா து³ர்ப்³ப³லதாயா ஹேதோ ர்மாநவவத்³ அஹம் ஏதத்³ ப்³ரவீமி; புந: புநரத⁴ர்ம்மகரணார்த²ம்’ யத்³வத் பூர்வ்வம்’ பாபாமேத்⁴யயோ ர்ப்⁴ரு’த்யத்வே நிஜாங்கா³நி ஸமார்பயத தத்³வத்³ இதா³நீம்’ ஸாது⁴கர்ம்மகரணார்த²ம்’ த⁴ர்ம்மஸ்ய ப்⁴ரு’த்யத்வே நிஜாங்கா³நி ஸமர்பயத|
20 For when you were the servants of sin, you were free men to justice.
யதா³ யூயம்’ பாபஸ்ய ப்⁴ரு’த்யா ஆஸ்த ததா³ த⁴ர்ம்மஸ்ய நாயத்தா ஆஸ்த|
21 What fruit therefore had you then in those things, of which you are now ashamed? For the end of them is death.
தர்ஹி யாநி கர்ம்மாணி யூயம் இதா³நீம்’ லஜ்ஜாஜநகாநி பு³த்⁴யத்⁴வே பூர்வ்வம்’ தை ர்யுஷ்மாகம்’ கோ லாப⁴ ஆஸீத்? தேஷாம்’ கர்ம்மணாம்’ ப²லம்’ மரணமேவ|
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end life everlasting. (aiōnios g166)
கிந்து ஸாம்ப்ரதம்’ யூயம்’ பாபஸேவாதோ முக்தா: ஸந்த ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ப்⁴ரு’த்யா(அ)ப⁴வத தஸ்மாத்³ யுஷ்மாகம்’ பவித்ரத்வரூபம்’ லப்⁴யம் அநந்தஜீவநரூபஞ்ச ப²லம் ஆஸ்தே| (aiōnios g166)
