< Romans 11 >
1 I say then: Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Hanchu, Pathien'n a mingei a hengpai mini? Nitet mak, keima reng khom hih Israel mi, Abraham richi Benjamin rûia mi ki ni.
2 God hath not cast away his people, which he foreknew. Know you not what the scripture saith of Elias; how he calleth on God against Israel?
Pathien'n aphuta a thang, a mingei hah paiphar mak. Pathien lekhabu'n Elijah roi a misîr hah imo a ti nin riet. Ama han Israelngei chungroi Pathien kôm a mintunga.
3 Lord, they have slain thy prophets, they have dug down thy altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
“Pumapa ne dêipungei an thata, na mâichâmngei an misima; Keima vai kêng ko om zoi. Keima khom hi mi that rang an bôk,” tiin.
4 But what saith the divine answer to him? I have left me seven thousand men, that have not bowed their knees to Baal.
Hannirese, Pathien'n, “Baal makunga khûk lân bil ngâiloi mi isâng sari ka ta rangin ka la dar tit ani,” tiin a thuona.
5 Even so then at this present time also, there is a remnant saved according to the election of grace.
Ma angdênin atûn hin khom Pathien'n a moroina sika a thangsuok ngei pâl atômte an la om.
6 And if by grace, it is not now by works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
A moroina sika a thangsuok anni an sintho sika nimak, ma anghan aninônchu moroina hih moroina tatak ni thei no nih.
7 What then? That which Israel sought, he hath not obtained: but the election hath obtained it; and the rest have been blinded.
Imo ei ti rang? Israelngeiin an rok hah man mak ngeia, Pathien thang atômte ngei vaiin an mana, midang ngei murdi chu Pathien koina han an sêt suo zoi.
8 As it is written: God hath given them the spirit of insensibility; eyes that they should not see; and ears that they should not hear, until this present day.
Pathien lekhabu'n, “Pathien'n avien sûn tena an mindonna le an mulungngei a min môl pea, an mua an riet thei loina,” a ti anghan.
9 And David saith: Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling block, and a recompense unto them.
David khomin, “An ruolhoi thona bukhalâi hah châng le in ôkna chang senla, An inbana le an khitrûi chang rese.
10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see: and bow down their back always.
An mu theiloina rangin an mit hong jîng senla, an intakna puokrikin del ngei tit rese,” a tia.
11 I say then, have they so stumbled, that they should fall? God forbid. But by their offence, salvation is come to the Gentiles, that they may be emulous of them.
Hanchu an inba sikin an inluoi phar rang mini? Ni mak! an inpal sikin Jentailngei kôma sanminringna a juong tung ani. Judangei narsana rang ani.
12 Now if the offence of them be the riches of the world, and the diminution of them, the riches of the Gentiles; how much more the fulness of them?
Ha anghan, Judangei an inpalna man rammuol neina ania, Judangei ratha tienga an insamna man hah Jentailngei neina a ninte, Judangei an hong kip tena vâng chu idôra satvurna mo a ni rang ani zoi.
13 For I say to you, Gentiles: as long indeed as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I will honour my ministry,
Ha anghan, nangni Jentailngei kôm ki ti ani, Jentail tîrton ki ni anghan ki sinthona hih ki minlût ani.
14 If, by any means, I may provoke to emulation them who are my flesh, and may save some of them.
Ki mingei nangni ki min narsa senkhat luo ka sanminring thei ngêt na rangin.
15 For if the loss of them be the reconciliation of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
An hengpai lâihan rammuol ta ranga Pathien leh inngêi nôkna aninte, an pom nôkna tena inmo ani rang? Maha thina renga ringna nîng atih.
16 For if the firstfruit be holy, so is the lump also: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
Vâipôl hâr ât masatak han Pathien kôm pêk minthieng anînchu apumin pêk minthieng ani. Hanchu thing khom a ruzung ânthienga anînchu amachangngei khom an inthieng ani.
17 And if some of the branches be broken, and thou, being a wild olive, art ingrafted in them, and art made partaker of the root, and of the fatness of the olive tree,
Olive thing machang senkhat tanpaiin, nangni ram olive, an lâia zomin nin oma, ruzung asa hah nin inzompui zoi ani. Nangni Jentailngei hah ram olive angin nin nia, male atûn chu Judangei ratha râtna tienga ringna hah nin insempui ani.
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
A machang dangngei chunga insong no roi, insong khom ungla, aruzung vâipu nimak chei, aruzung in kêng nangni avâi ani.
19 Thou wilt say then: The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
Hanchu, nangman, “Zoma ko om theina ranga amachangngei hah thâk kêng an ni,” tîng ni tih.
20 Well: because of unbelief they were broken off. But thou standest by faith: be not highminded, but fear.
Ani, an iem loina sikin thâkin an oma, nang chu na taksônna sikin zom ni ni, inpâk nônla, manêkin chi roh.
21 For if God hath not spared the natural branches, fear lest perhaps he also spare not thee.
Pathien'n amachang taktak angati Judangei luo a manar nônchu nang khom nang manar uol no nih.
22 See then the goodness and the severity of God: towards them indeed that are fallen, the severity; but towards thee, the goodness of God, if thou abide in goodness, otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Masikin, Pathien sa tie le chi aomtie ei mua, ânpal ngei ta rangin chu chi a oma, a satna no omtitin chu nangma ta rangin chu asa ani. No omtit nônchu nang khom thâkpai sa nîng ni tih.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
Male, Judangei khom an iemloina an maka anînchu zomin la om nôk an tih, Pathien'n a zom nôk thei sikin.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the wild olive tree, which is natural to thee; and, contrary to nature, were grafted into the good olive tree; how much more shall they that are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
Nangni Jentailngei, ram olive machang renga thâkpai luon olive thing bâk sa taka inzomin nin om inte, nangni Judangei, olive thingkung diktak amachangngei a zom chu Pathien rangin abai pe uol ok rang ani.
25 For I would not have you ignorant, brethren, of this mystery, (lest you should be wise in your own conceits), that blindness in part has happened in Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles should come in.
Ka malngei hi chong inthup hih nin riet rangin ku nuom ani, aninônchu avâr intum nin tih. Isreal mingei tukdullienna hah a omjêt rang nimak. Aniatachu Jentailngei hah Pathien kôma an hong kipphar tena rang vai ani.
26 And so all Israel should be saved, as it is written: There shall come out of Sion, he that shall deliver, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
Hanchu, Israelngei murdi sanminringin om an tih. Pathien lekhabu'n, “Zion renga Minringpu hah juong a ta, Jacob jâisuonngei renga puoloinangei minboi atih.
27 And this is to them my covenant: when I shall take away their sins.
Mahih an kôma ko chongkhit rang chu ani, An nunsienangei ka lâk pai tika chu,” ati anghan.
28 As concerning the gospel, indeed, they are enemies for your sake: but as touching the election, they are most dear for the sake of the fathers.
Thurchi Sa an hengpaia, nangni sikin Judangei chu Pathien râl an ni. Pathien'n a thang ngei na mindonin chu an richibulngei sikin a champui lungkhamna ngei an ni.
29 For the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance.
Pathien'n mi a thangna le sat a vurna lama a mulungrîl thûl ngâi mak.
30 For as you also in times past did not believe God, but now have obtained mercy, through their unbelief;
Tienlâi han chu nangni Jentailngei chu Pathien chongjôm mak cheia, atûn chu Judangei an jômloina sikin a moroina nin chang zoi ani.
31 So these also now have not believed, for your mercy, that they also may obtain mercy.
Ma ang nanâk han, atûn nang nin moroina nin chang sikin Judangei khomin Pathien moroina an chang sa theina rangin atûn hin chu chongjômloia om an ni.
32 For God hath concluded all in unbelief, that he may have mercy on all. (eleēsē )
Asikchu anrênga chunga a inriengmuna a minlang nuom sikin Pathien'n mi murdi chongjômloina a khum zit ani. (eleēsē )
33 O the depth of the riches of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are his judgments, and how unsearchable his ways!
Pathien neina ngei chu idôra roiinpui mo! a vârna le a rietna khom idôra ânthûk mo! tûn mo a roijêk a rilminthâr thei ranga? tun mo a lampui a riet thei ranga?
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counsellor?
Pathien lekhabu'n: “Tun mo Pumapa mulungrîl rieta? Tu mo rilna a pêk thei ranga?
35 Or who hath first given to him, and recompense shall be made him?
Tumo a kôma lâkâi amin tanga, tumo a kôm renga a man nôk rêk ngai?” ati anghan.
36 For of him, and by him, and in him, are all things: to him be glory for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Asikchu neinun murdi hih ama sin ania, ama sika hong om le ama ta riempet ani. Pathien kôma tuonsôtin inlalna chu om rese! Amen. (aiōn )
