< Romans 11 >
1 I say then: Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Ahileh Pathen in Ami Israel techu anungsun hitam? tin kadonge. Chuti chu ahipoi! Keima tah Israel mi kahi, Abraham chilhah khat kahin, chule Benjamin phunga mi kahi.
2 God hath not cast away his people, which he foreknew. Know you not what the scripture saith of Elias; how he calleth on God against Israel?
Ahipoi, Pathen in Amite anungsun poi, amaho chu atil abula analhensa ahiuve. Hiche chungchang thua Pathen thun ipi aseiyem? Elijah Themgao in Pathen koma anopmosahna Israel mite chungthua aphongdoh in chule aseiyin,
3 Lord, they have slain thy prophets, they have dug down thy altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
“Pakai, amahon na-Themgaoho athat'un chule namaicham phungho aphelha tauve. Keima changsehbou eiki-dalha a ahitai. Chule tun amahon keima jeng jong tha ding eigouve,” ati.
4 But what saith the divine answer to him? I have left me seven thousand men, that have not bowed their knees to Baal.
Chuin Pathen in ipia adonbut nageldoh em? Aman, “Ahipoi, Keiman Baal anga dilsukhalou mi sang sagi adang kanei nalaije,” ati.
5 Even so then at this present time also, there is a remnant saved according to the election of grace.
Tulaiya jong chutima ahi, Israel mi phabep chu Pathen lungsetna jal'in tahsan umtah ahinalai uve. Aman ami hepina chang dinga kilom louva amaho alhendoh jal'a ahi.
6 And if by grace, it is not now by works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
Chule hichu Pathen lungset them ahina jal jeh-in athil phabol jeh-u ahipoi. Ajehchu, hiche thudola hi Pathen lungsetna chu ahina banga hitalou ding, manbei chule chan dinga kilom hilouva ahitai (Hinlah hichu natohjal hitaleh, lungset jal hithei talouhel ding ahitai, achuti louleh natoh chu natoh hitalou ding ahije).
7 What then? That which Israel sought, he hath not obtained: but the election hath obtained it; and the rest have been blinded.
Hijehchun, hiche umdol hi hiti ahi: Israel mi atamjo hin Pathen lunglhaina ding gunchuten'a ahol vang'un amujou pouve. Pathen in alhendoh phabep honbou amu uve; hinla adangse lungthim chu suhtah cheh a um ahiuve.
8 As it is written: God hath given them the spirit of insensibility; eyes that they should not see; and ears that they should not hear, until this present day.
Pathen lekhabun asei, “Pathen in amaho chu a-ihmut milsah ahitai. Tuni chan geiya hi amit'u aphelpeh hi amutheilouna dingu ahi, chule akol'u asip'u hin ajahtheilouna ding'u hiya ahitai.”
9 And David saith: Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumbling block, and a recompense unto them.
Chutima chun David'in aseiyin, “Amahon anopneh nau dokhang chu akipalnau thangin panghen, doha a kibol'a akimatna diu chu ima tiponte tin gelu hen. Phatthei achan'u chu akipalna diu hihen, chule amahon achan diuva kilom chu kimu uhen.
10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see: and bow down their back always.
Amahon amit uva amutheilouna ding'un kho mulouvin umuhen, chule alungthim'u chu a-imatih a bojang theilou din umhen,” ati.
11 I say then, have they so stumbled, that they should fall? God forbid. But by their offence, salvation is come to the Gentiles, that they may be emulous of them.
Pathen mite chu kipal lhu'uva chule kithoudoh theilouva umden diu hiya hitam? Chuti theiponte! Amaho seingailou ahinau chu Pathen in chidang namdang ho huhhing'a aum sahna dingu ahi. Hichehin, Amite chun thangthip pehna ahin nei uva amaho ding tah-a ahin kilethum theina dingu adeipehjeh ahijoi.
12 Now if the offence of them be the riches of the world, and the diminution of them, the riches of the Gentiles; how much more the fulness of them?
Tua hi chidang namdang ho ahaosatnau hi Israel miten Pathen in Huhhingna apeh-u imacha a aselou jeh-u ahin, chea kona hi amahon achaina pena ahin kisan tenguleh vannoiyin gamchenga phattheina amube chehna diu chu alung ngaito ahi.
13 For I say to you, Gentiles: as long indeed as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I will honour my ministry,
Keiman hiche kasei jouse hi nangho Gentile ho dinga ahi. Pathen in keima hi Gentile ho lah a dinga solchah a eilhen ahi thudol kasei khohten ahi.
14 If, by any means, I may provoke to emulation them who are my flesh, and may save some of them.
Ajeh chu keiman chidang namdang nanghon naneiyu huhhingna hi Israel miten nahin thangset peh theina dingu kangaitoa kagelkhoh hi amaho themkhat beh kahuh doh theina ding kati ahi.
15 For if the loss of them be the reconciliation of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
Ajehchu amahon akisan nomlou uva pat Pathen in huhhingna hi vannoi mundang jousea dinga aphaldoh ahin, amahon ahin kisanthei tenguleh kidang jocheh ding ahi. Athiho dinga hinna hung hiding ahitai.
16 For if the firstfruit be holy, so is the lump also: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
Chule Abraham le ipului hou adangse chu athigam'un, amaho chilhah ho theng diu ahi. Ajehchu changbong chu atheng ahi banga maicham'a dinga kikheng doh jong chu atheng ahi. Ajehchu thingbul chu athenleh abah jong chu theng ding ahiye.
17 And if some of the branches be broken, and thou, being a wild olive, art ingrafted in them, and art made partaker of the root, and of the fatness of the olive tree,
Hinlah Abraham chilhah phabep chu tanboh in aumuve. Chule nangho chidang namdangte, gam Olive thingphung bah hoa kon nahiuvin, kijopmat tha bou nahiuve. Hijeh chun tun, nanghon jong Pathen'a kona phattheina Abraham le achilhahte kithutepsa chu changa nahi tauvin, Pathen deilhen Olive thinga haona lhingset phattheina chu chang'a nahi tauve.
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Hinlah akisubong'ah abah hoa kijopmat nahijeh un nahoithouva nakiletsah lou dingu ahi. Nangma abah maimai nahi, aphung chu nahipoi.
19 Thou wilt say then: The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
Nangman, “Aphai, hiche abahho kisubong chu keima to kijopmatna theiding ahi” tia nasei thei ahi.
20 Well: because of unbelief they were broken off. But thou standest by faith: be not highminded, but fear.
Ahinai, hijongleh geldoh in: chuche abahho akisuhboh nau ajehchu amahon Christa atahsan lou jeh-u ahi, chule nangman natahsan jeh-a naum ahi. Hijehchun, kichoisang hih in, ahin ipi sohthei ding ahi thua kichajon.
21 For if God hath not spared the natural branches, fear lest perhaps he also spare not thee.
ajehchu Pathen in abahho bon chu ahinghoi louva ahileh, nangma jeng jong nahing hoi ponte.
22 See then the goodness and the severity of God: towards them indeed that are fallen, the severity; but towards thee, the goodness of God, if thou abide in goodness, otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Pathen hi lungset them ahidan le akhoh je hedoh in. Athu ngailou ho dinga chu lungkhoh a ahi, hinla athua nungho dinga lungset them ahi, amilungsetna natahsan jom jingu ahitah leh, hinlah tahsan nangah ule nangho jong kisat lha ding nahiuve.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.
Chule Israel mi chun atahsanlou nauva alungu ahin heiyuva ahileh, amaho chu kijop mat kit thei ahi, ajehchu Pathen in amaho chu aphunga chu ahinjop mat kittheiyu ahi.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the wild olive tree, which is natural to thee; and, contrary to nature, were grafted into the good olive tree; how much more shall they that are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
Nangho angai monga gam Olive thingbah kisatlha nahiuve. Hitia chu Pathen in angaiya kon hilou Olive thingtoh najop mat'u ahin, atil'a pat abahho chu Olive phung chutoh ajopmat kit ding chu kijopmat cheh ding ahi.
25 For I would not have you ignorant, brethren, of this mystery, (lest you should be wise in your own conceits), that blindness in part has happened in Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles should come in.
Kasopi deitah teho, hiche thuguh hi kahet chetsah noma, hichu nakimoh letsah louna dingu kati ahi. Israel mi phabep'in lungtahna aneiyu hi chidang namdang ho Christa a ahung nadingu amijat bulhin loulai jeh bou ahitai.
26 And so all Israel should be saved, as it is written: There shall come out of Sion, he that shall deliver, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
Chule hitia chu Israel jouse huhhing hidiu ahi. Pathen lekhabun aseiye, “Jerusalem'a kona huhhing dingpa chu hung ding ahi, chule aman Israel mite chu Pathen ngaisah louna'a kona alehei ding ahi.
27 And this is to them my covenant: when I shall take away their sins.
Chule hiche hi ama hoto kitepna hiding ahi, Keiman amaho chonsetna kalah mang ding ahi.”
28 As concerning the gospel, indeed, they are enemies for your sake: but as touching the election, they are most dear for the sake of the fathers.
Israel mi tampihi Kipana Thupha melma'a pang'ah ahiuvin, chule hiche hin chidang namdang nangho phatchomna napeh-u ahi. Hijeng jongleh amaho angailut mite ahiuve, ajehchu aman apuluiyu Abraham, Isaac chule Jacob alhendoh ahi.
29 For the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance.
Ajeh chu Pathen thilpeh hole Aman akou ho chu kikhelkit talou dingu ahi.
30 For as you also in times past did not believe God, but now have obtained mercy, through their unbelief;
Khatvei chu chidang namdang hon Pathen ana douvu ahi, hinla Israel miten Ama adouvu chun Pathen in nangho nalungset joh-u ahitai.
31 So these also now have not believed, for your mercy, that they also may obtain mercy.
Tun amaho doulung pua ahiuvin, Pathen mihepina chu nahengu hung lhung ahi, hitia chu amaho jong Pathen mihepina chu achan theina dingu ahi.
32 For God hath concluded all in unbelief, that he may have mercy on all. (eleēsē )
Pathen in amichang cheh lungsetna achan theina dinguva ami changcheh chu seingai louva akhumchah ahitai. (eleēsē )
33 O the depth of the riches of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are his judgments, and how unsearchable his ways!
O Pathen haona le chihna chule hetna hohi iti kidan hitam! Alampi ho le alunggel ngaito hetphah jouding ahipoi.
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counsellor?
Ajehchu koiham Pakai lunggel hedoh joujai dinga? Ama thumop themna geiya hea koi umem?
35 Or who hath first given to him, and recompense shall be made him?
Chule koiham apeh tamval behseh jeh a lepeh kit dinga chu?
36 For of him, and by him, and in him, are all things: to him be glory for ever. Amen. (aiōn )
Ajehchu imajouse hi Ama'a kona hunga chule ijakai hi Ama thahatna'a uma, chule hichu ama loupina dinga gon ahije. Loupina jouse tonsot'in Ama a hijing hen! Amen. (aiōn )
