Psalms 98

1 A psalm for David himself. Sing ye to the Lord anew canticle: because he hath done wonderful things. His right hand hath wrought for him salvation, and his arm is holy.

Zaburi. Mwimbieni Bwana wimbo mpya, kwa maana ametenda mambo ya ajabu; kitanga chake cha kuume na mkono wake mtakatifu umemfanyia wokovu.

2 The Lord hath made known his salvation: he hath revealed his justice in the sight of the Gentiles.

Bwana ameufanya wokovu wake ujulikane na amedhihirisha haki yake kwa mataifa.

3 He hath remembered his mercy his truth toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Ameukumbuka upendo wake na uaminifu wake kwa nyumba ya Israeli; miisho yote ya dunia imeuona wokovu wa Mungu wetu.

4 Sing joyfully to God, all the earth; make melody, rejoice and sing.

Mpigieni Bwana kelele za shangwe, dunia yote, ipaze sauti kwa nyimbo za shangwe na vinanda;

5 Sing praise to the Lord on the harp, on the harp, and with the voice of a psalm:

mwimbieni Bwana kwa kinubi, kwa kinubi na sauti za kuimba,

6 With long trumpets, and sound of comet. Make a joyful noise before the Lord our king:

kwa tarumbeta na mvumo wa baragumu za pembe za kondoo dume: shangilieni kwa furaha mbele za Bwana, aliye Mfalme.

7 Let the sea be moved and the fulness thereof: the world and they that dwell therein.

Bahari na ivume na kila kiliomo ndani yake, dunia na wote wakaao ndani yake.

8 The rivers shall clap their hands, the mountains shall rejoice together

Mito na ipige makofi, milima na iimbe pamoja kwa furaha,

9 At the presence of the Lord: because he cometh to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with justice, and the people with equity.

vyote na viimbe mbele za Bwana, kwa maana yuaja kuhukumu dunia. Atahukumu dunia kwa haki na mataifa kwa haki.
