Psalms 89
1 Of understanding, for Ethan the Ezrahite. The mercies of the Lord I will sing for ever. I will shew forth thy truth with my mouth to generation and generation.
Учение Ефама Езрахита. Милости Твои, Господи, буду петь вечно, в род и род возвещать истину Твою устами моими.
2 For thou hast said: Mercy shall be built up for ever in the heavens: thy truth shall be prepared in them.
Ибо говорю: навек основана милость, на небесах утвердил Ты истину Твою, когда сказал:
3 I have made a covenant with my elect: I have sworn to David my servant:
“Я поставил завет с избранным Моим, клялся Давиду, рабу Моему:
4 Thy seed will I settle for ever. And I will build up thy throne unto generation and generation.
навек утвержу семя твое, в род и род устрою престол твой”.
5 The heavens shall confess thy wonders, O Lord: and thy truth in the church of the saints.
И небеса прославят чудные дела Твои, Господи, и истину Твою в собрании святых.
6 For who in the clouds can be compared to the Lord: or who among the sons of God shall be like to God?
Ибо кто на небесах сравнится с Господом? кто между сынами Божиими уподобится Господу?
7 God, who is glorified in the assembly of the saints: great and terrible above all them that are about him.
Страшен Бог в великом сонме святых, страшен Он для всех окружающих Его.
8 O Lord God of hosts, who is like to thee? thou art mighty, O Lord, and thy truth is round about thee.
Господи, Боже сил! кто силен, как Ты, Господи? И истина Твоя окрест Тебя.
9 Thou rulest the power of the sea: and appeasest the motion of the waves thereof.
Ты владычествуешь над яростью моря: когда воздымаются волны его, Ты укрощаешь их.
10 Thou hast humbled the proud one, as one that is slain: with the arm of thy strength thou hast scattered thy enemies.
Ты низложил Раава, как пораженного; крепкою мышцею Твоею рассеял врагов Твоих.
11 Thine are the heavens, and thine is the earth: the world and the fulness thereof thou hast founded:
Твои небеса и Твоя земля; вселенную и что наполняет ее, Ты основал.
12 The north and the sea thou hast created. Thabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name:
Север и юг Ты сотворил; Фавор и Ермон о имени Твоем радуются.
13 Thy arm is with might. Let thy hand be strengthened, and thy right hand exalted:
Крепка мышца Твоя, сильна рука Твоя, высока десница Твоя!
14 Justice and judgment are the preparation of thy throne. Mercy and truth shall go before thy face:
Правосудие и правота - основание престола Твоего; милость и истина предходят пред лицем Твоим.
15 Blessed is the people that knoweth jubilation. They shall walk, O Lord, in the light of thy countenance:
Блажен народ, знающий трубный зов! Они ходят во свете лица Твоего, Господи,
16 And in thy name they shall rejoice all the day, and in thy justice they shall be exalted.
о имени Твоем радуются весь день и правдою Твоею возносятся,
17 For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy good pleasure shall our horn be exalted.
ибо Ты украшение силы их, и благоволением Твоим возвышается рог наш.
18 For our protection is of the Lord, and of our king the holy one of Israel.
От Господа - щит наш, и от Святаго Израилева - царь наш.
19 Then thou spokest in a vision to thy saints, and saidst: I have laid help upon one that is mighty, and have exalted one chosen out of my people.
Некогда говорил Ты в видении святому Твоему, и сказал: “Я оказал помощь мужественному, вознес избранного из народа.
20 I have found David my servant: with my holy oil I have anointed him.
Я обрел Давида, раба Моего, святым елеем Моим помазал его.
21 For my hand shall help him: and my arm shall strengthen him.
Рука Моя пребудет с ним, и мышца Моя укрепит его.
22 The enemy shall have no advantage over him: nor the son of iniquity have power to hurt him.
Враг не превозможет его, и сын беззакония не притеснит его.
23 And I will cut down his enemies before his face; and them that hate him I will put to flight.
Сокрушу пред ним врагов его и поражу ненавидящих его.
24 And my truth and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
И истина Моя и милость Моя с ним, и Моим именем возвысится рог его.
25 And I will set his hand in the sea; and his right hand in the rivers.
И положу на море руку его, и на реки - десницу его.
26 He shall cry out to me: Thou art my father: my God, and the support of my salvation.
Он будет звать Меня: Ты отец мой, Бог мой и твердыня спасения моего.
27 And I will make him my firstborn, high above the kings of the earth.
И Я сделаю его первенцем, превыше царей земли,
28 I will keep my mercy for him for ever: and my covenant faithful to him.
вовек сохраню ему милость Мою, и завет Мой с ним будет верен.
29 And I will make his seed to endure for evermore: and his throne as the days of heaven.
И продолжу вовек семя его, и престол его - как дни неба.
30 And if his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments:
Если сыновья его оставят закон Мой и не будут ходить по заповедям Моим;
31 If they profane my justices: and keep not my commandments:
если нарушат уставы Мои и повелений Моих не сохранят:
32 I will visit their iniquities with a rod: and their sins with stripes.
посещу жезлом беззаконие их, и ударами - неправду их;
33 But my mercy I will not take away from him: nor will I suffer my truth to fail.
милости же Моей не отниму от него, и не изменю истины Моей.
34 Neither will I profane my covenant: and the words that proceed from my mouth I will not make void.
Не нарушу завета Моего, и не переменю того, что вышло из уст Моих.
35 Once have I sworn by my holiness: I will not lie unto David:
Однажды Я поклялся святостью Моею: солгу ли Давиду?
36 His seed shall endure for ever.
Семя его пребудет вечно, и престол его, как солнце, предо Мною,
37 And his throne as the sun before me: and as the moon perfect for ever, and a faithful witness in heaven.
вовек будет тверд, как луна, и верный свидетель на небесах”.
38 But thou hast rejected and despised: thou hast been angry with thy anointed.
Но ныне Ты отринул и презрел, прогневался на помазанника Твоего;
39 Thou hast overthrown the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his sanctuary on the earth.
пренебрег завет с рабом Твоим, поверг на землю венец его;
40 Thou hast broken down all his hedges: thou hast made his strength fear.
разрушил все ограды его, превратил в развалины крепости его.
41 All that pass by the way have robbed him: he is become a reproach to his neighbours.
Расхищают его все проходящие путем; он сделался посмешищем у соседей своих.
42 Thou hast set up the right hand of them that oppress him: thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
Ты возвысил десницу противников его, обрадовал всех врагов его;
43 Thou hast turned away the help of his sword; and hast not assisted him in battle.
Ты обратил назад острие меча его и не укрепил его на брани;
44 Thou hast made his purification to cease: and thou hast cast his throne down to the ground.
отнял у него блеск и престол его поверг на землю;
45 Thou hast shortened the days of his time: thou hast covered him with confusion.
сократил дни юности его и покрыл его стыдом.
46 How long, O Lord, turnest thou away unto the end? shall thy anger burn like fire?
Доколе, Господи, будешь скрываться непрестанно, будет пылать ярость Твоя, как огонь?
47 Remember what my substance is for hast thou made all the children of men in vain?
Вспомни, какой мой век: на какую суету сотворил Ты всех сынов человеческих?
48 Who is the man that shall live, and not see death: that shall deliver his soul from the hand of hell? (Sheol h7585)
Кто из людей жил - и не видел смерти, избавил душу свою от руки преисподней? (Sheol h7585)
49 Lord, where are thy ancient mercies, according to what thou didst swear to David in thy truth?
Где прежние милости Твои, Господи? Ты клялся Давиду истиною Твоею.
50 Be mindful, O Lord, of the reproach of thy servants (which I have held in my bosom) of many nations:
Вспомни, Господи, поругание рабов Твоих, которое я ношу в недре моем от всех сильных народов;
51 Wherewith thy enemies have reproached, O Lord; wherewith they have reproached the change of thy anointed.
как поносят враги Твои, Господи, как бесславят следы помазанника Твоего.
52 Blessed be the Lord for evermore. So be it. So be it.
Благословен Господь вовек! Аминь, аминь.
