< Psalms 87 >

1 For the sons of Core, a psalm of a canticle. The foundations thereof are in the holy mountains:
Abụ Ọma ụmụ Kora. Otu Abụ. Chineke atọọla ntọala ya nʼelu ugwu nsọ ahụ;
2 The Lord loveth the gates of Sion above all the tabernacles of Jacob.
Onyenwe anyị hụrụ ọnụ ụzọ ama Zayọn nʼanya, karịa ebe obibi niile nke Jekọb.
3 Glorious things are said of thee, O city of God.
Ihe dị iche iche nke dị ebube ka a na-ekwu banyere gị, O obodo Chineke; (Sela)
4 I will be mindful of Rahab and of Babylon knowing me. Behold the foreigners, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians, these were there.
“Aga m agụnye Rehab na Babilọn, dịka ndị na-asọpụrụ m, aga m agụnyekwa ndị Filistia, na ndị Taịa, na ndị Kush, aga m asị, ‘A mụrụ nke a na Zayọn.’”
5 Shall not Sion say: This man and that man is born in her? and the Highest himself hath founded her.
Nʼezie, a ga-ekwu okwu banyere Zayọn sị, “A mụrụ nke a na nke ọzọ nʼime ya, ya onwe ya, bụ Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, ga-eme ka o guzosie ike.”
6 The Lord shall tell in his writings of peoples and of princes, of them that have been in her.
Onyenwe anyị ga-ede nʼime akwụkwọ usoro nke ndị mmadụ: “A mụrụ onye a na Zayọn.”
7 The dwelling in thee is as it were of all rejoicing.
Dịka ha na-eti egwu, ha ga-abụ abụ sị, “Isi iyi m niile dị na gị.”
