< Psalms 87 >
1 For the sons of Core, a psalm of a canticle. The foundations thereof are in the holy mountains:
Zaburi mar yawuot Kora. Wer. Oseguro mise mare ewi got maler;
2 The Lord loveth the gates of Sion above all the tabernacles of Jacob.
Jehova Nyasaye ohero rangeye mag Sayun, moloyo kuonde dak duto mag Jakobo.
3 Glorious things are said of thee, O city of God.
Ji wacho gik madongo kuomi, yaye dala maduongʼ mar Nyasaye: (Sela)
4 I will be mindful of Rahab and of Babylon knowing me. Behold the foreigners, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians, these were there.
“Abiro kwano Rahab gi Babulon e kanyakla mar joma ongʼeya, nyaka Filistia bende, kod Turo, kaachiel gi Kush kendo abiro wacho ni, ‘Ngʼatni nonywol ei Sayun.’”
5 Shall not Sion say: This man and that man is born in her? and the Highest himself hath founded her.
Adier, nowachi kuom Sayun niya, “En min ogendini mathoth, kendo Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo owuon biro chunge.”
6 The Lord shall tell in his writings of peoples and of princes, of them that have been in her.
Jehova Nyasaye biro ndiko e kitabu mindikoe nying ogendini kama: “Jali nonywol ei Sayun.” (Sela)
7 The dwelling in thee is as it were of all rejoicing.
Sa ma giloso wer to giniwer niya, “Soknina duto ni e iyi.”
