Psalms 82

1 A psalm for Asaph. God hath stood in the congregation of gods: and being in the midst of them he judgeth gods.

Dios está en la reunión de Dios; él está juzgando entre los dioses.

2 How long will you judge unjustly: and accept the persons of the wicked?

¿Hasta cuándo vas a juzgar falsamente, teniendo respeto por las personas de los malhechores? (Selah)

3 Judge for the needy and fatherless: do justice to the humble and the poor.

Defiende la causa de los pobres y los hijos sin padres; deja que aquellos que están atribulados y en necesidad tengan sus derechos.

4 Rescue the poor; and deliver the needy out of the hand of the sinner.

Sé el salvador de los pobres y de los que no tienen nada: librarlos de la mano de los malhechores.

5 They have not known nor understood: they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth shall be moved.

Ellos no tienen conocimiento o sentido; van en la oscuridad: todas las bases de la tierra se mueven.

6 I have said: You are gods and all of you the sons of the most High.

Dije: Ustedes son dioses; todos ustedes son los hijos del Altísimo:

7 But you like men shall die: and shall fall like one of the princes.

Pero morirás como hombres, y caerás como cualquier gobernante de la tierra.

8 Arise, O God, judge thou the earth: for thou shalt inherit among all the nations.

Levántate! Oh Dios, ven como juez de la tierra; porque todas las naciones son tu herencia.
