Psalms 80
1 Unto the end, for them that shall he changed, a testimony for Asaph, a psalm. Give ear, O thou that rulest Israel: thou that leadest Joseph like a sheep. Thou that sittest upon the cherubims, shine forth
Tu, que és pastor d'Israel, dá ouvidos: tu, que guias a José como a um rebanho: tu, que te assentas entre os cherubins, resplandece.
2 Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasses. Stir up thy might, and come to save us.
Perante Ephraim, Benjamin e Manasseh, desperta o teu poder, e vem salvar-nos.
3 Convert us, O God: and shew us thy face, and we shall be saved.
Faze-nos voltar, ó Deus, e faze resplandecer o teu rosto, e seremos salvos.
4 O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy servant?
Ó Senhor Deus dos Exercitos, até quando te indignarás contra a oração do teu povo
5 How long wilt thou feed us with the bread of tears: and give us for our drink tears in measure?
Tu os sustentas com pão de lagrimas, e lhes dás a beber lagrimas, com abundancia.
6 Thou hast made us to be a contradiction to our neighbours: and our enemies have scoffed at us.
Tu nos pões em contendas com os nossos visinhos: e os nossos inimigos zombam de nós entre si.
7 O God of hosts, convert us: and shew thy face, and we shall be saved.
Faze-nos voltar, ó Deus dos Exercitos, e faze resplandecer o teu rosto; e seremos salvos.
8 Thou hast brought a vineyard out of Egypt: thou hast cast cut the Gentiles and planted it.
Trouxeste uma vinha do Egypto: lançaste fóra as nações, e a plantaste.
9 Thou wast the guide of its journey in its sight: thou plantedst the roots thereof, and it filled the land.
Preparaste-lhe logar, e fizeste com que ella deitasse raizes; e encheu a terra.
10 The shadow of it covered the hills: and the branches thereof the cedars of God.
Os montes foram cobertos da sua sombra, e os seus ramos se fizeram como os formosos cedros.
11 It stretched forth its branches unto the sea, and its boughs unto the river.
Ella estendeu a sua ramagem até ao mar, e os seus ramos até ao rio.
12 Why hast thou broken down the hedge thereof, so that all they who pass by the way do pluck it?
Porque quebraste então os seus vallados, de modo que todos os que passam por ella a vindimam?
13 The boar out of the wood hath laid it waste: and a singular wild beast hath devoured it.
O javali da selva a devasta, e as feras do campo a devoram.
14 Turn again, O God of hosts, look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vineyard:
Oh Deus dos Exercitos, volta-te, nós te rogamos, attende dos céus, e vê, e visita esta vide;
15 And perfect the same which thy right hand hath planted: and upon the son of man whom thou hast confirmed for thyself.
E a videira que a tua dextra plantou, e o sarmento que fortificaste para ti.
16 Things set on fire and dug down shall perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
Está queimada pelo fogo, está cortada: pereceu pela reprehensão da tua face.
17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand: and upon the son of man whom thou hast confirmed for thyself.
Seja a tua mão sobre o varão da tua dextra, sobre o filho do homem, que fortificaste para ti.
18 And we depart not from thee, thou shalt quicken us: and we will call upon thy name.
Assim nós não te viraremos as costas; guarda-nos em vida, e invocaremos o teu nome.
19 O Lord God of hosts, convert us: and shew thy face, and we shall be saved.
Faze-nos voltar, Senhor Deus dos Exercitos: faze resplandecer o teu rosto; e seremos salvos.
