Psalms 75

1 Unto the end, corrupt not, a psalm of a canticle for Asaph. We will praise thee, O God: we will praise, and we will call upon thy name. We will relate thy wondrous works:

阿撒夫的詩歌，交與樂官。 我們感謝您，上主，我們感謝您，稱頌您的名號，傳揚您的奇蹟。

2 When I shall take a time, I will judge justices.

我規定的日期一旦來臨，我必定要依照公道行審。

3 The earth is melted, and all that dwell therein: I have established the pillars thereof.

大地和眾居民嚇得動搖，但我必使大地支柱堅牢。

4 I said to the wicked: Do not act wickedly: and to the sinners: Lift not up the horn.

我對蠻橫者說：不要再蠻橫跋扈！我向糊塗人說：不要再頭角高露！

5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not iniquity against God.

不要舉您們的角，反抗至高者，不要再說驕傲的話反抗天主！

6 For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert hills:

的確，救援不從東方來，也不從西方來，救援不從曠野來，也不從山嶺來。

7 For God is the judge. One he putteth down, and another he lifteth up:

因為惟獨天主是審判大主，他將此人貶抑將那人高舉。

8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup of strong wine full of mixture. And he hath poured it out from this to that: but the dregs thereof are not emptied: all the sinners of the earth shall drink.

爵杯已經握在上主的手掌，裝滿了起沫而調和的酒釀，他已倒出要地上的惡人喝，還要叫他們飲盡杯中的糟粕。

9 But I will declare for ever: I will sing to the God of Jacob.

然而我要永遠歡舞，歌頌雅各伯的天主；

10 And I will break all the horns of sinners: but the horns of the just shall be exalted.

惡人的角，我要一一打碎，惟有義人的角纔可豎起。
