Psalms 62
1 Unto the end, for Idithun, a psalm of David. Shall not my soul be subject to God? for from him is my salvation.
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ: ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਯਦੂਥੂਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਗ ਉੱਤੇ। ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਚੁੱਪ-ਚਾਪ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਉਸੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ।
2 For he is my God and my saviour: he is my protector, I shall be moved no more.
੨ਉਹੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਉੱਚਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਨਾ ਡੋਲਾਂਗਾ।
3 How long do you rush in upon a man? you all kill, as if you were thrusting down a leaning wall, and a tottering fence.
੩ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਦ ਤੋੜੀ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੱਲਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੋਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਭ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟੋ, ਜੋ ਝੁਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਕੰਧ ਤੇ ਹਿੱਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਵਾੜ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ?
4 But they have thought to cast away my price; I ran in thirst: they blessed with their mouth, but cursed with their heart.
੪ਓਹ ਮਤਾ ਪਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਨਿਰਾ ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਪਦਵੀ ਤੋਂ ਡੇਗ ਦੇਣ, ਓਹ ਝੂਠ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਓਹ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਸਰਾਪ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਲਹ।
5 But be thou, O my soul, subject to God: for from him is my patience.
੫ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ, ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਚੁੱਪ-ਚਾਪ ਰਹਿ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਉਸੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ।
6 For he is my God and my saviour: he is my helper, I shall not be moved.
੬ਉਹੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਹੈ, ਉਹੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਉੱਚਾ ਗੜ੍ਹ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਡੋਲਾਂਗਾ।
7 In God is my salvation and my glory: he is the God of my help, and my hope is in God.
੭ਮੇਰਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਇਮ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਬਲ ਦੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।
8 Trust in him, all ye congregation of people: pour out your hearts before him. God is our helper for ever.
੮ਹੇ ਪਰਜਾ, ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖੋ, ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਓ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਪਨਾਹ ਹੈ। ਸਲਹ।
9 But vain are the sons of men, the sons of men are liars in the balances: that by vanity they may together deceive.
੯ਨੀਚ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਹ ਹੀ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਪਦਵੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਿਥਿਆ ਹਨ, ਤੱਕੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਸਾਹ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਹਲਕੇ ਹਨ।
10 Trust not in iniquity, and cover not robberies: if riches abound, set not your heart upon them.
੧੦ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਨਾ ਰੱਖੋ, ਨਾ ਲੁੱਟ ਮਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਫੂੰ-ਫੂੰ ਕਰੋ, ਧਨ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਜੇ ਵਧ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਨ ਨਾ ਲਾਓ।
11 God hath spoken once, these two things have I heard, that power belongeth to God,
੧੧ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇੱਕੋ ਵਾਰ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਸਗੋਂ ਦੋ ਵਾਰੀ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਸੁਣਿਆ, ਕਿ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਹੈ।
12 And mercy to thee, O Lord; for thou wilt render to every man according to his works.
੧੨ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਦਯਾ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਹਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਫਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
