Psalms 56
1 Unto the end, for a people that is removed at a distance from the sanctuary for David, for an inscription of a title (or pillar) when the Philistines held him in Geth. Have mercy on me, O God, for man hath trodden me under foot; all the day long he hath afflicted me fighting against me.
१प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये योनतेलेखद्दोकीम में दाऊद का मिक्ताम जब पलिश्तियों ने उसको गत नगर में पकड़ा था हे परमेश्वर, मुझ पर दया कर, क्योंकि मनुष्य मुझे निगलना चाहते हैं; वे दिन भर लड़कर मुझे सताते हैं।
2 My enemies have trodden on me all the day long; for they are many that make war against me.
२मेरे द्रोही दिन भर मुझे निगलना चाहते हैं, क्योंकि जो लोग अभिमान करके मुझसे लड़ते हैं वे बहुत हैं।
3 From the height of the day I shall fear: but I will trust in thee.
३जिस समय मुझे डर लगेगा, मैं तुझ पर भरोसा रखूँगा।
4 In God I will praise my words, in God I have put my trust: I will not fear what flesh can do against me.
४परमेश्वर की सहायता से मैं उसके वचन की प्रशंसा करूँगा, परमेश्वर पर मैंने भरोसा रखा है, मैं नहीं डरूँगा। कोई प्राणी मेरा क्या कर सकता है?
5 All the day long they detested my words: all their thoughts were against me unto evil.
५वे दिन भर मेरे वचनों को, उलटा अर्थ लगा लगाकर मरोड़ते रहते हैं; उनकी सारी कल्पनाएँ मेरी ही बुराई करने की होती है।
6 They will dwell and hide themselves: they will watch my heel. As they have waited for my soul,
६वे सब मिलकर इकट्ठे होते हैं और छिपकर बैठते हैं; वे मेरे कदमों को देखते भालते हैं मानो वे मेरे प्राणों की घात में ताक लगाए बैठे हों।
7 For nothing shalt thou save them: in thy anger thou shalt break the people in pieces, O God,
७क्या वे बुराई करके भी बच जाएँगे? हे परमेश्वर, अपने क्रोध से देश-देश के लोगों को गिरा दे!
8 I have declared to thee my life: thou hast set my tears in thy sight, As also in thy promise.
८तू मेरे मारे-मारे फिरने का हिसाब रखता है; तू मेरे आँसुओं को अपनी कुप्पी में रख ले! क्या उनकी चर्चा तेरी पुस्तक में नहीं है?
9 Then shall my enemies be turned back. In what day soever I shall call upon thee, behold I know thou art my God.
९तब जिस समय मैं पुकारूँगा, उसी समय मेरे शत्रु उलटे फिरेंगे। यह मैं जानता हूँ, कि परमेश्वर मेरी ओर है।
10 In God will I praise the word, in the Lord will I praise his speech.
१०परमेश्वर की सहायता से मैं उसके वचन की प्रशंसा करूँगा, यहोवा की सहायता से मैं उसके वचन की प्रशंसा करूँगा।
11 In God have I hoped, I will not fear what man can do to me.
११मैंने परमेश्वर पर भरोसा रखा है, मैं न डरूँगा। मनुष्य मेरा क्या कर सकता है?
12 In me, O God, are vows to thee, which I will pay, praises to thee:
१२हे परमेश्वर, तेरी मन्नतों का भार मुझ पर बना है; मैं तुझको धन्यवाद-बलि चढ़ाऊँगा।
13 Because thou hast delivered my soul from death, my feet from falling: that I may please in the sight of God, in the light of the living.
१३क्योंकि तूने मुझ को मृत्यु से बचाया है; तूने मेरे पैरों को भी फिसलने से बचाया है, ताकि मैं परमेश्वर के सामने जीवितों के उजियाले में चलूँ फिरूँ।
