Psalms 56

1 Unto the end, for a people that is removed at a distance from the sanctuary for David, for an inscription of a title (or pillar) when the Philistines held him in Geth. Have mercy on me, O God, for man hath trodden me under foot; all the day long he hath afflicted me fighting against me.

非利士人在迦特拿住大卫。那时，他作这金诗，交与伶长。调用远方无声鸽。 神啊，求你怜悯我，因为人要把我吞了， 终日攻击欺压我。

2 My enemies have trodden on me all the day long; for they are many that make war against me.

我的仇敌终日要把我吞了， 因逞骄傲攻击我的人甚多。

3 From the height of the day I shall fear: but I will trust in thee.

我惧怕的时候要倚靠你。

4 In God I will praise my words, in God I have put my trust: I will not fear what flesh can do against me.

我倚靠 神，我要赞美他的话； 我倚靠 神，必不惧怕。 血气之辈能把我怎么样呢？

5 All the day long they detested my words: all their thoughts were against me unto evil.

他们终日颠倒我的话； 他们一切的心思都是要害我。

6 They will dwell and hide themselves: they will watch my heel. As they have waited for my soul,

他们聚集，埋伏窥探我的脚踪， 等候要害我的命。

7 For nothing shalt thou save them: in thy anger thou shalt break the people in pieces, O God,

他们岂能因罪孽逃脱吗？ 神啊，求你在怒中使众民堕落！

8 I have declared to thee my life: thou hast set my tears in thy sight, As also in thy promise.

我几次流离，你都记数； 求你把我眼泪装在你的皮袋里。 这不都记在你册子上吗？

9 Then shall my enemies be turned back. In what day soever I shall call upon thee, behold I know thou art my God.

我呼求的日子，我的仇敌都要转身退后。 神帮助我，这是我所知道的。

10 In God will I praise the word, in the Lord will I praise his speech.

我倚靠 神，我要赞美他的话； 我倚靠耶和华，我要赞美他的话。

11 In God have I hoped, I will not fear what man can do to me.

我倚靠 神，必不惧怕。 人能把我怎么样呢？

12 In me, O God, are vows to thee, which I will pay, praises to thee:

神啊，我向你所许的愿在我身上； 我要将感谢祭献给你。

13 Because thou hast delivered my soul from death, my feet from falling: that I may please in the sight of God, in the light of the living.

因为你救我的命脱离死亡。 你岂不是救护我的脚不跌倒、 使我在生命光中行在 神面前吗？
