< Psalms 54 >

1 Unto the end, In verses, understanding for David. When the men of Ziph had come and said to Saul: Is not David hidden with us? Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me in thy strength.
Nkunga Davidi kuidi pfumu minyimbidi kayimbidila mu mu thangu basi Zifi bayiza kamba Sawuli ti: “Davidi kuidi beto” kasuamini. Wuphukisa, Nzambi ama, mu dizina diaku; wundungisa mu lulendo luaku.
2 O God, hear my prayer: give ear to the words of my mouth.
Wa lusambulu luama, a Nzambi. Dimba mambu ma munuꞌama.
3 For strangers have risen up against me; and the mighty have sought after my soul: and they have not set God before their eyes.
Zinzenza zilembo nduanisa ayi batu ba tsita balembo tombi luzingu luama. Batu bankambu kinzikanga Nzambi.
4 For behold God is my helper: and the Lord is the protector of my soul.
Bukiedika, Nzambi niandi nsadisi ama. Yave niandi wukukhindisanga.
5 Turn back the evils upon my enemies; and cut them off in thy truth.
Bika mambimbi mabuila bobo beti kuphueza; Mu kikhuikizi kiaku, wuba bunga.
6 I will freely sacrifice to thee, and will give praise, O God, to thy name: because it is good:
Ndiela kutambikanga makaba mu ntima wu luzolo; ndiela zitisa dizina diaku, a Yave. Bila didi dimboti.
7 For thou hast delivered me out of all trouble: and my eye hath looked down upon my enemies.
Bila niandi wukhula mu ziphasi ziama zioso ayi meso mama mamona mbedoso yi bobo beti kundenda.
