Psalms 43

1 A psalm for David. Judge me, O God, and distinguish my cause from the nation that is not holy: deliver me from the unjust and deceitful man.

എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എനിക്കു ന്യായംപാലിച്ചുതരണമേ, ഭക്തിഹീനരായ ഒരു ജനതയ്ക്കെതിരേ എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി അവിടന്നു വാദിക്കണമേ. വഞ്ചകരും ദുഷ്ടരുമായവരിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ മോചിപ്പിക്കണമേ.

2 For thou art God my strength: why hast thou cast me off? and why do I go sorrowful whilst the enemy afflicteth me?

അവിടന്ന് ദൈവമാകുന്നു, എന്റെ ഉറപ്പുള്ളകോട്ട. അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചത് എന്തിന്? ശത്രുവിന്റെ പീഡനം സഹിച്ച് ഞാൻ വിലപിച്ച് ഉഴലേണ്ടിവരുന്നത് എന്തിന്?

3 Send forth thy light and thy truth: they have conducted me, and brought me unto thy holy hill, and into thy tabernacles.

അവിടത്തെ പ്രകാശവും സത്യവും അയയ്ക്കണമേ, അവ എന്നെ നയിക്കട്ടെ; അവിടത്തെ വിശുദ്ധപർവതത്തിലേക്ക് അവയെന്നെ ആനയിക്കട്ടെ, അങ്ങയുടെ തിരുനിവാസസ്ഥാനത്തേക്കും.

4 And I will go in to the altar of God: to God who giveth joy to my youth.

അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ യാഗപീഠത്തിലേക്ക്, എന്റെ ആനന്ദവും പ്രമോദവുമായിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തിലേക്കു ഞാൻ ചെല്ലും. ഓ ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, വീണ മീട്ടി ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെ സ്തുതിക്കും.

5 To thee, O God my God, I will give praise upon the harp: why art thou sad, O my soul? and why dost thou disquiet me? Hope in God, for I will still give praise to him: the salvation of my countenance, and my God.

എന്റെ ആത്മാവേ, നീ എന്തിനു വിഷാദിക്കുന്നു? നീ അന്തരംഗത്തിൽ എന്തിന് അസ്വസ്ഥനായിക്കഴിയുന്നു? ദൈവത്തിൽ പ്രത്യാശയർപ്പിക്കുക, എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും എന്റെ ദൈവവുമേ, ഞാൻ ഇനിയും അവിടത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തും.
