Psalms 39
1 Unto the end, for Idithun himself, a canticle of David. I said: I will take heed to my ways: that I sin not with my tongue. I have set guard to my mouth, when the sinner stood against me.
၁``ငါပြုသည့်အမှုအတွက်ငါသတိထားမည်။ နှုတ်ဖြင့်မျှမပြစ်မှားမိစေရန်ငါသည်သတိ ပြုမည်။ ဆိုးညစ်သူတို့အနီး၌ရှိစဉ်ငါသည်အဘယ် စကားကိုမျှမပြောဘဲနေမည်'' ဟုငါဆို၏။
2 I was dumb, and was humbled, and kept silence from good things: and my sorrow was renewed.
၂ငါသည်စကားတစ်ခွန်းမျှမပြောဘဲ ဆိတ်ဆိတ်နေခဲ့၏။ အကောင်းကိုပင်မပြော ဆိုခဲ့ပါ။ သို့ရာတွင်ငါ၏ဝေဒနာသည်ပိုမိုဆိုးရွား ၍သာလာ၏။
3 My heart grew hot within me: and in my meditation a fire shall flame out.
၃ငါသည်ပူပင်သောကရောက်ခဲ့၏။ စဉ်းစားလေလေပို၍စိတ်ဒုက္ခရောက်လေလေ ဖြစ်ခဲ့၏။ ``အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်အဘယ်မျှအသက်ရှည်ပါ မည်နည်း။ အဘယ်အခါသေရပါမည်နည်း။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအားအနိစ္စတရားကို သိစေတော်မူပါ'' ဟု ကိုယ်တော်အားငါမမေးမလျှောက်ဘဲမနေနိုင်ပါ။
4 I spoke with my tongue: O Lord, make me know my end. And what is the number of my days: that I may know what is wanting to me.
၄
5 Behold thou hast made my days measurable: and my substance is as nothing before thee. And indeed all things are vanity: every man living.
၅ကိုယ်တော်သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏အသက်ကို လွန်စွာတိုစေတော်မူပါပြီတကား။ ကိုယ်တော်၏ရှေ့တော်တွင်ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏ အသက်တာသည်ဘာမျှမဟုတ်သကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ အကယ်စင်စစ်သက်ရှိလူသတ္တဝါမည်သည်ကား ထွက်သက်ဝင်သက်တမျှ၊
6 Surely man passeth as an image: yea, and he is disquieted in vain. He storeth up: and he knoweth not for whom he shall gather these things.
၆အရိပ်တမျှခဏသာအသက်ရှင်ပါ၏။ သူပြုသမျှသောအမှုအရာတို့သည်ဘာမျှ အကျိုးမရှိ။ သူသည်စည်းစိမ်ဥစ္စာကိုစုဆောင်းသော်လည်း အဘယ်အရာကိုအဘယ်သူရရှိလိမ့်မည်ကို သူမသိ။
7 And now what is my hope? is it not the Lord? and my substance is with thee.
၇သို့ဖြစ်၍ အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်အဘယ်အရာကို မျှော်ကိုးနိုင်ပါမည်နည်း။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ကိုယ်တော်ကိုမျှော်ကိုးပါ၏။
8 Deliver thou me from all my iniquities: thou hast made me a reproach to the fool.
၈ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏အပြစ်အပေါင်းမှကယ်တော် မူပါ။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအားလူမိုက်တို့လှောင်ပြောင် စေတော်မမူပါနှင့်။
9 I was dumb, and I opened not my mouth, because thou hast done it.
၉ကိုယ်တော်သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအား ဤသို့ဝေဒနာခံစေတော်မူသောကြောင့် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ဆိတ်ဆိတ်နေပါမည်။ စကားတစ်ခွန်းမျှပြောမည်မဟုတ်ပါ။
10 Remove thy scourges from me. The strength of thy hand hath made me faint in rebukes:
၁၀ထပ်မံ၍ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအား အပြစ်ဒဏ်ပေးတော်မမူပါနှင့်။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်ပေးတော်မူသည့် ဒဏ်ရာဒဏ်ချက်များကြောင့်ကျွန်တော်မျိုး သည် သေလုပါပြီ။
11 Thou hast corrected man for iniquity. And thou hast made his soul to waste away like a spider: surely in vain is any man disquieted.
၁၁ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်သည်လူအားသူ၏ အပြစ်ဒုစရိုက်အတွက်ဆုံးမ၍အပြစ်ဒဏ် ပေးတော်မူပါ၏။ သူနှစ်သက်စွဲလန်းသောအရာတို့ကိုပိုးဖလံ ကဲ့သို့ ကိုယ်တော်ဖျက်ဆီးပစ်တော်မူပါ၏။ အကယ်စင်စစ်လူသည်ထွက်သက်ဝင်သက်မျှသာ ဖြစ်ပါသည်တကား။
12 Hear my prayer, O Lord, and my supplication: give ear to my tears. Be not silent: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner as all my fathers were.
၁၂အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာကို နားညောင်းတော်မူပါ။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုး၏ပန်ကြားချက်ကို နားထောင်တော်မူပါ။ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးငိုယိုသောအခါကူမရန်ကြွ တော်မူပါ။ ဘိုးဘေးတို့ကဲ့သို့ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည် ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏ဧည့်သည်အဖြစ်နှင့် ခဏမျှသာနေရပါ၏။
13 O forgive me, that I may be refreshed, before I go hence, and be no more.
၁၃ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသေ၍ပျောက်ကွယ်မသွားမီ ရွှင်လန်းမှုအနည်းငယ်ရရှိစေရန် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးထံမှမျက်နှာတော်ကိုလွှဲတော်မူပါ။
