< Psalms 35 >

1 For David himself. Judge thou, O Lord, them that wrong me: overthrow them that fight against me.
David ƒe ha. O! Yehowa, wɔ avu kple ame siwo le avu wɔm kplim; wɔ aʋa kple ame siwo le aʋa wɔm kplim.
2 Take hold of arms and shield: and rise up to help me.
Tso, tsɔ akpoxɔnu kple wò akɔtatsyɔnu, eye nàxɔ nam.
3 Bring out the sword, and shut up the way against them that persecute me: say to my soul: I am thy salvation.
Tsɔ akplɔ nueveetɔ kple nuɖekɛtɔ ɖe yonyemetilawo ŋuti. Gblɔ na nye luʋɔ be, “Nyee nye wò xɔname.”
4 Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek after my soul. Let them be turned back and be confounded that devise against me.
Ame siwo le nye agbe yome tim la, ŋukpe kple vlododo nelé wo, eye ame siwo le nugbe ɖom ɖe nye gbegblẽ ŋu la, gbegblẽ netrɔ va woawo ŋutɔ dzi.
5 Let them become as dust before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord straiten them.
Wonenɔ abe bli ƒe atsa si ya lɔ ɖe nu ene, eye Yehowa ƒe dɔla nenya wo ɖe du nu;
6 Let their way become dark and slippery; and let the angel of the Lord pursue them.
woƒe mɔ dzi nedo viviti, ahanɔ ɖiɖim, eye Yehowa ƒe dɔla neti wo yome.
7 For without cause they have hidden their net for me unto destruction: without cause they have upbraided my soul.
Esi nyemewɔ naneke wo o, gake woɖo ɖɔ ɖi nam, eye woɖe ʋe ɖi nam ta la,
8 Let the snare which he knoweth not come upon him: and let the net which he hath hidden catch him: and let the net which he hath hidden catch him: and into that very snare let them fall.
gbegblẽ neƒo ɖe wo dzi kpoyi, ɖɔ si woɖo nam la neɖe woawo ŋutɔ, eye woage dze ʋe si woɖe ɖi nam la me aƒaƒã ɖe afi ma.
9 But my soul shall rejoice in the Lord; and shall be delighted in his salvation.
Ekema nye luʋɔ atso aseye le Yehowa me, eye wòadzɔ dzi le eƒe xɔname ŋuti.
10 All my bones shall say: Lord, who is like to thee? Who deliverest the poor from the hand of them that are stronger than he; the needy and the poor from them that strip him.
Nye ameti blibo la katã mado ɣli be, “O! Yehowa, ame kae sɔ kpli wò? Wò ame si ɖe ame beliwo tso ame siwo sesẽ wu wo la ƒe asi me, eye nèɖe hiãtɔwo kple ame dahewo tso ame siwo ha wo la ƒe asi me.”
11 Unjust witnesses rising up have asked me things I knew not.
Ɖasefo ŋutasẽlawo zɔ va ŋgɔgbe, eye wobia biabiam tso nu siwo ŋuti nyemenya naneke le o.
12 They repaid me evil for good: to the depriving me of my soul.
Wotsɔ vɔ̃ ɖo nyui teƒe nam, eye wogble nye luʋɔ ɖe nuxaxa me.
13 But as for me, when they were troublesome to me, I was clothed with haircloth. I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer shall be turned into my bosom.
Gake ne wodze dɔ la, metaa akpanya, eye metsɔa nutsitsidɔ bɔbɔa ɖokuinyee. Ne womeɖo nye gbedodoɖa ŋuti nam o la,
14 As a neighbour and as an own brother, so did I please: as one mourning and sorrowful so was I humbled.
menɔa yiyim kpokpokpo le nuxaxa me abe xɔ̃nye alo nɔviŋutsu fam mele ene. Medea mo to abe danye ƒe ku fam mele ene.
15 But they rejoiced against me, and came together: scourges were gathered together upon me, and I knew not.
Gake ne mekli nu la, woƒoa ƒu koa nu hahaha, eye ne mele vo me la, futɔwo va ɖea to ɖem. Woɖea alɔme le ŋunye madzudzɔmadzudzɔe.
16 They were separated, and repented not: they tempted me, they scoffed at me with scorn: they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
Woɖua fewu le ŋunye vevesesetɔe, eye woɖua aɖukli ɖe ŋunye abe mawumavɔ̃lawo ene.
17 Lord, when wilt thou look upon me? rescue thou soul from their malice: my only one from the lions.
O! Aƒetɔ, va se ɖe ɣe ka ɣi nànɔ te akpɔ wo ase ɖo? Ɖe nye agbe tso woƒe nu gbegblẽwo me, ɖe nye agbe xɔasi tso dzata siawo ƒe asi me.
18 I will give thanks to thee in a great church; I will praise thee in a strong people.
Ekema mada akpe na wò le ameha gã la dome, eye makafu wò le ame gbogbowo dome.
19 Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: who have hated me without cause, and wink with the eyes.
Mègana ame siwo nye nye futɔwo la nakpɔ dziɖuɖu ƒe dzidzɔ ɖe ŋunye yakatɔe o, eye mègana ame siwo lé fum susumanɔmetɔe la nate ŋku ɖem kple vevesese o.
20 For they spoke indeed peaceably to me; and speaking in the anger of the earth they devised guile.
Womeƒoa nu ŋutifafatɔe o, ke boŋ woɖoa alakpa ƒe amenutsonyawo ɖi ɖe ame siwo le anyigba dzi kpoo la ŋuti.
21 And they opened their mouth wide against me; they said: Well done, well done, our eyes have seen it.
Wokea woƒe nu baa ɖe ŋutinye hegblɔna be, “Ɛhɛ̃! Ɛhɛ̃! Míawo ŋutɔ míekpɔe kple míaƒe ŋkuwo.”
22 Thou hast seen, O Lord, be not thou silent: O Lord, depart not from me.
O! Yehowa, èkpɔ esia, eya ta mègazi ɖoɖoe o. O! Aƒetɔ, mèganɔ adzɔge nam o.
23 Arise, and be attentive to my judgment: to my cause, my God, and my Lord.
Nyɔ, tso nàʋli tanye! Wɔ avu ɖe nunye, nye Mawu kple nye Aƒetɔ.
24 Judge me, O Lord my God according to thy justice, and let them not rejoice over me.
Tso afia nam le wò dzɔdzɔenyenye la ta, O! Yehowa, nye Mawu, mègana woakpɔ dziɖuɖu ƒe dzidzɔ ɖe ŋutinye o.
25 Let them not say in their hearts: It is well, it is well, to our mind: neither let them say: We have swallowed him up.
Mègana woabu be, “Ɛhɛ̃, esia tututu dim míele” o. Alo agblɔ be, “Míemii agbagbee” o.
26 Let them blush: and be ashamed together, who rejoice at my evils. Let them be clothed with confusion and shame, who speak great things against me.
Ame siwo katã le dzidzɔ kpɔm tso nye xaxa ŋuti la, ŋukpe nelé wo, eye woatɔtɔ; na be ame siwo kɔ wo ɖokuiwo dzi ɖe ŋutinye la nata ŋukpe kple vlododo abe avɔ ene.
27 Let them rejoice and be glad, who are well pleased with my justice, and let them say always: The Lord be magnified, who delights in the peace of his servant.
Ke ame siwo dzɔ dzi be nètso afia nam la nedo dzidzɔɣli kple aseyetsoɣli. Wonenɔ gbɔgblɔm ɖaa be, “Woado Yehowa, ame si dzɔa dzi le eƒe dɔla ƒe dedinɔnɔ ŋu la ɖe dzi.”
28 Any my tongue shall meditate thy justice, thy praise all the day long.
Nye aɖe aƒo nu le wò dzɔdzɔenyenye ŋuti, eye wòadzi wò kafukafuha ɖaa.
