Psalms 33
1 A psalm for David. Rejoice in the Lord, O ye just: praise becometh the upright.
১ধার্ম্মিকেরা, সদাপ্রভুুতে আনন্দ কর; প্রশংসা করা ন্যায়পরায়ণদের জন্য উপযুক্ত।
2 Give praise to the Lord on the harp; sing to him with the psaltery, the instrument of ten strings.
২বীণার সাথে সদাপ্রভুুকে ধন্যবাদ দাও; দশটি তারের বাদ্যযন্ত্রের সঙ্গে তাঁর প্রশংসা কর।
3 Sing to him a new canticle, sing well unto him with a loud noise.
৩তাঁর উদ্দেশ্যে নতুন গান গাও; মধুর বাদ্য কর, জয়ধ্বনি কর এবং আনন্দের সাথে গান কর।
4 For the word of the Lord is right, and all his works are done with faithfulness.
৪কারণ সদাপ্রভুুর বাক্য ন্যায়পরায়ণ এবং তিনি যা কিছু করেন তা ন্যায্য।
5 He loveth mercy and judgment; the earth is full of the mercy of the Lord.
৫তিনি ধার্ম্মিকতা এবং ন্যায়বিচার ভালোবাসেন। পৃথিবীতে সদাপ্রভুুর চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততা পূর্ণ হয়।
6 By the word of the Lord the heavens were established; and all the power of them by the spirit of his mouth:
৬স্বর্গে তৈরি করা হয় সদাপ্রভুুর বাক্যে এবং সমস্ত তারা তাঁর মুখের শ্বাসের দ্বারা তৈরি হয়েছিল।
7 Gathering together the waters of the sea, as in a vessel; laying up the depths in storehouses.
৭তিনি সমুদ্রের জলকে একসঙ্গে একটি স্তূপের মত সংগ্রহ করেন; তিনি মহাসাগরকে ভান্ডারের মধ্যে রাখেন।
8 Let all the earth fear the Lord, and let all the inhabitants of the world be in awe of him.
৮সমস্ত পৃথিবী সদাপ্রভুুকে ভয় করুক; জগতের সমস্ত নিবাসীরা তাঁর ভয়ে থাকো।
9 For he spoke and they were made: he commanded and they were created.
৯কারণ তিনি কথা বললেন এবং তার উত্পত্তি হল; তিনি আদেশ দিলেন ও এটি একটি জায়গায় দাঁড়িয়ে রইল।
10 The Lord bringeth to naught the counsels of nations; and he rejecteth the devices of people, and casteth away the counsels of princes.
১০সদাপ্রভুু জাতিগুলোর ঐক্য ব্যর্থ করেন; তিনি লোকেদের পরিকল্পনা বাতিল করেন।
11 But the counsel of the Lord standeth for ever: the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
১১সদাপ্রভুুর পরিকল্পনা চিরকাল থাকে, তাঁর হৃদয়ের পরিকল্পনা সমস্ত প্রজন্মের জন্য।
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord: the people whom he hath chosen for his inheritance.
১২ধন্য সেই জাতি, যাঁর ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুু, যাদের তিনি নিজের অধিকার হিসাবে মনোনীত করেছেন।
13 The Lord hath looked from heaven: he hath beheld all the sons of men.
১৩সদাপ্রভুু, স্বর্গ থেকে দেখেন, তিনি সমস্ত লোককে দেখেন।
14 From his habitation which he hath prepared, he hath looked upon all that dwell on the earth.
১৪সে যেখানে অবস্থান করে সেখান থেকে, পৃথিবীতে যারা বেঁচে আছে তাদের দেখেন।
15 He who hath made the hearts of every one of them: who understandeth all their works.
১৫তিনি যিনি তাদের হৃদয়কে গঠন করেছেন, যা তাদের সমস্ত কাজ দেখায়।
16 The king is not saved by a great army: nor shall the giant be saved by his own great strength.
১৬কোন রাজা বিশাল সেনাবাহিনীর দ্বারা রক্ষা পায় না; একটি যোদ্ধা তার মহান শক্তির দ্বারা রক্ষা পায় না।
17 Vain is the horse for safety: neither shall he be saved by the abundance of his strength.
১৭জয়ের জন্য একটি ঘোড়ার আশা মিথ্যা, তার মহান শক্তি সত্বেও, সে উদ্ধার করতে পারবে না।
18 Behold the eyes of the Lord are on them that fear him: and on them that hope in his mercy.
১৮দেখ, যারা তাঁকে ভয় করে তাদের উপরে সদাপ্রভুু চোখ থাকে, যারা তাঁর চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততার ওপর নির্ভর করে।
19 To deliver their souls from death; and feed them in famine.
১৯মৃত্যুর হাত থেকে তাদের প্রাণ বাঁচাতে এবং দূর্ভিক্ষের মাধ্যমে তাদের জীবিত রাখতে।
20 Our soul waiteth for the Lord: for he is our helper and protector.
২০আমরা সদাপ্রভুুর জন্য অপেক্ষায় রয়েছি; তিনি আমাদের সাহায্য এবং আমাদের ঢাল।
21 For in him our heart shall rejoice: and in his holy name we have trusted.
২১আমাদের হৃদয় তাঁর মধ্যে আনন্দিত, কারণ আমরা তাঁর পবিত্র নামের উপর বিশ্বাস করি।
22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, as we have hoped in thee.
২২সদাপ্রভুু, তোমার চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততা আমাদের সাথে থাকুক।
