Psalms 26
1 Unto the end, a psalm for David. Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in my innocence: and I have put my trust in the Lord, and shall not be weakened.
Faarfannaa Daawit. Yaa Waaqayyo, sababii ani jireenya hirʼina hin qabne jiraadheef, ati naa murteessi; anis utuu asii fi achi hin raafamin, Waaqayyoon amanadheera.
2 Prove me, O Lord, and try me; burn my reins and my heart.
Yaa Waaqayyo, qoriitii na ilaali; garaa koo fi qalbii koo qori;
3 For thy mercy is before my eyes; and I am well pleased with thy truth.
jaalalli kee kan hin geeddaramne sun ija koo dura jiraatii; anis dhugaa keetiin nan deddeebiʼa.
4 I have not sat with the council of vanity: neither will I go in with the doers of unjust things.
Ani warra nama gowwoomsan wajjin hin taaʼu, yookaan fakkeessitoota wajjin tokkummaa hin qabaadhu;
5 I have hated the assembly of the malignant; and with the wicked I will not sit.
ani waldaa warra hammina hojjetanii nan jibba; hamoota wajjinis hin taaʼu.
6 I will wash my hands among the innocent; and will compass thy altar, O Lord:
Yaa Waaqayyo, ani harka koo qulqullummaadhaan nan dhiqadha; iddoo aarsaa keetii irras nan naannaʼa.
7 That I may hear the voice of thy praise: and tell of all thy wondrous works.
Faarfannaa galataa guddisee nan faarfadha; dinqii hojii keetii hunda nan odeessa.
8 I have loved, O Lord, the beauty of thy house; and the place where thy glory dwelleth.
Yaa Waaqayyo, mana ati keessa jiraattu, iddoo ulfinni kee jirus nan jaalladha.
9 Take not away my soul, O God, with the wicked: nor my life with bloody men:
Lubbuu koo cubbamoota wajjin, jireenya koos warra dhiiga dhangalaasan wajjin hin balleessin;
10 In whose hands are iniquities: their right hand is filled with gifts.
warra harka isaanii keessa karoorri jalʼinaa jiru kanneen harki isaanii mirgaa mattaʼaadhaan guutame wajjin na hin balleessin.
11 But as for me, I have walked in my innocence: redeem me, and have mercy on me.
Ani garuu jireenya hirʼina hin qabne nan jiraadha; ati na furi; araaras naa buusi.
12 My foot hath stood in the direct way: in the churches I will bless thee, O Lord.
Miilli koo lafa wal qixxee irra dhaabata; waldaa guddaa keessattis Waaqayyoon nan jajadha.
