Psalms 23

1 A psalm for David. The Lord ruleth me: and I shall want nothing.

Ang salmo ni David. Si Yahweh mao ang akong magbalantay; walay makulang kanako.

2 He hath set me in a place of pasture. He hath brought me up, on the water of refreshment:

Gipahigda niya ako sa lunhaw nga mga sibsibanan; gitultolan niya ako sa linaw nga tubig.

3 He hath converted my soul. He hath led me on the paths of justice, for his own name’s sake.

Gilig-on niya ang akong kinabuhi; gigiyahan niya ako sa hustong dalan tungod sa iyang ngalan.

4 For though I should walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will fear no evils, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff, they have comforted me.

Bisan magalakaw ako latas sa walog sa labing mangitngit nga landong; dili ako mahadlok sa kadaot sanglit nag-uban ka man kanako; ang imong bunal ug ang imong sungkod nanalipod man kanako.

5 Thou hast prepared a table before me against them that afflict me. Thou hast anointed my head with oil; and my chalice which inebriateth me, how goodly is it!

Giandam mo ang lamesa sa akong atubangan diha sa presensiya sa akong mga kaaway; gidihogan mo sa lana ang akong ulo; nagaawas ang akong kupa.

6 And thy mercy will follow me all the days of my life. And that I may dwell in the house of the Lord unto length of days.

Ang pagkamaayo gayod ug ang matinud-anong kasabotan magasunod kanako sa tanang adlaw sa akong kinabuhi; ug magapuyo ako sa balay ni Yahweh sa hataas gayod nga panahon!
