Psalms 15

1 A psalm of David. Lord, who shall dwell in thy tabernacle? or who shall rest in thy holy hill?

ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ ആർ പാർക്കും? അവിടത്തെ വിശുദ്ധപർവതത്തിൽ ആർ വസിക്കും?

2 He that walketh without blemish, and worketh justice:

കളങ്കരഹിതരായി ജീവിക്കുകയും നീതിനിഷ്ഠയോടെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും ഹൃദയത്തിൽനിന്നു സത്യം സംസാരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവർ;

3 He that speaketh truth in his heart, who hath not used deceit in his tongue: Nor hath done evil to his neighbour: nor taken up a reproach against his neighbours.

തങ്ങളുടെ നാവ് പരദൂഷണത്തിനായി ഉപയോഗിക്കാതെയും അയൽവാസിയെ ദ്രോഹിക്കാതെയും കൂട്ടുകാർക്ക് അപമാനം വരുത്താതെയുമിരിക്കുന്നവർ;

4 In his sight the malignant is brought to nothing: but he glorifieth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his neighbour, and deceiveth not;

ദുഷ്ടരെ നിന്ദ്യരായി കാണുകയും യഹോവാഭക്തരെ ബഹുമാനിക്കുകയും; നഷ്ടം സഹിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നാലും ചെയ്ത ശപഥത്തിൽനിന്ന് വാക്കുമാറാതിരിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നവർ;

5 He that hath not put out his money to usury, nor taken bribes against the innocent: He that doth these things shall not be moved for ever.

പണം കടം കൊടുത്തിട്ട് പലിശവാങ്ങാതിരിക്കുന്നവർ; നിരപരാധിക്കെതിരേ കോഴ വാങ്ങാതിരിക്കുന്നവരുംതന്നെ. ഇങ്ങനെ ജീവിക്കുന്നവർ ഒരുനാളും കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയില്ല.
